Today is a very sad day for me. A friend just died at age 28, I wasn't one of her best friends but I feel so sad, I thought I wasn't allowed to cry because I knew little of her... I took this meditation to think about her family, and my tears just came out ... I thought about youth and how precious those times we spent with our friends are. Please be always good to them, cherish those times. Thank you Adriene. Namaste

7 minutes of meditation brought me to tears. Going through an emotionally hard time. My intention is to give myself compassion, love and knowing that it is ok to be sad and to feel sad. That is who I am. I feel things so deeply and when my loved ones are hurting it makes me so sad.
Greatful for people like you who have empathy for others and can feel their pain. We need more people like you. Of course please take care of yourself and know that in order to help others you need to be okay yourself❤️

Compassion for my inner child was also my intention that came to me today. Sitting with myself allowed me to realize that I had been a harsh parent to my inner child, who is suffering from anxiety about health issues. The parent (my rationality) says there are people out there with real health issues! (same argument as there are kids in Africa who are starving). The reality is that she is afraid and doesn't know why, and I should comfort her and sit with her and tell her I understand even if I don't really. This may help her calm down or at least help her to loosen the focus on every little detail but see the bigger picture and try not to fix things but rather observe things and trust that everything is ever changing, never static.
Please do the Ho!oponoopono prayer. It really help you and your loved one
I didn't even realise how the whole 7minutes passed and I opened my eyes with feeling a lot fresher just within this short moment of time.

"Choose love." I needed to hear that today. I have been sad to witness so many angry people from both sides throwing cheap shots and insults at each other in the past couple weeks. My day is off to a great start. With this in the mix the day can't get any better. The magic keeps on working wonders. I plan on doing a waltz dance practice once i'm done with this. Floating in happiness thanks to Adriene reminding me/us to let go of negativity and slow things down a bit for ourselves. Thank you for the endless awesomeness. Namaste.

I think quiet meditation alone is the best... But sometimes the mind struggles and it's nice to have a guide. And it's even more powerful when you feel connected to that guide. Thank you for bringing stillness this morning.
I like a silent meditation too, however, a group one is awesome and joining in with Adriene we know there is the collective energy. I enjoy a guided meditation myself too, now and again 🌸

Woke up way too early - 5:30 and not wanting to wake up the household, listened to this with ear phones at the kitchen table in the dark and decided to walk down to the bakery through the fields to buy croissants and baguettes for hot coffee and orange juice upon return. Had gotten my booster yesterday so that put a wrench in my plans for the 30 day yoga journey, but I still wanted to do something today so I came here for a short meditation practice. I'll pick up where I left off in the 30 day yoga journey when I feel better, but I want to continue my dedication so I really appreciate these short practices
i've never seen a single ad on any of adriene's videos. i don't think we totally understand how much she could've made. it's definitely an intentional choice that shows adriene's top focus is NOT the money. thank you adriene!

I never usually do the meditation videos but I saw it on the September playlist and thought 'why not?' as I woke up early and have time before work. This was so just right for today. I could not help but smile when my mind suddenly cleared as it was scrambling for intentions and I heard 'choose love'
Wonderful meditation to start the day( following daily yoga) yeah, I chose love and energy! I hope to continue this month with more energy since I'd been quite a bit lethargic and apathetic! Now I have set my intention to ground myself with love and joy and stay present as much as possible! Love and peace to all.

After the anger and sadness of yesterday, getting on the mat is the absolute best thing I can do for myself. It’s a new day and the energy to carry on is renewed as well. We’ll be registering new voters here in my state today, reaching out to citizens relocated due to Hurricane Maria. I can do this work because I can speak Spanish, and I’m so proud of you, Adriene, for putting in the work to learn the language, too.
