Mahelaqa Yousaf indian yogis emphasis more on spiritual and mental dimension( i.e. japa tapa dhyana dharana samadhi sunya) and they also practice many rituals(which is beyond ur logic and understanding).but if you want to go to that spiritual and mental dimension first we need to fix our physical dimension if you don't fix your body ,you can't unite ur spiritual consciousness to the universal consciousness .so i find Adrienne asanas are more helpful and step by step.btw,where are you from?which country?

I see people commenting all the times they have cried doing yoga. At the age of 22, I just bawled like a kid again when she said "no judgement". College sometimes feels detrimental and stressful. I'm glad to be a part of a community that is full of love and positivity. So grateful!
I am feeling the same way too. I put too much on my plate and it definitely affects my stress and anxiety levels. I am also glad to be a part of this community. Make sure to make time for yourself too.
Started this meditation with tears in my eyes, couldn't stop crying. I did it one time, and felt a lot better. I did it a second time, and finished feeling calm and peaceful. My dog joined and was so relaxed. He wasn't sleeping, he was conscious and his eyes were open. I think he was meditating too. Every time I watch your videos my dog comes too. I think he likes your voice

I had same thing happen to me last night. I was at work, all good, getting on with serving food as I work in a restaurant and then I started to feel this stress rising and anxiety bubbling up, my eyes filling with tears and I couldn't stay until the end. I had to leave and as always yoga and meditation helped. I calmed down. Thank you for sharing this. It makes me feel good and not alone.
I feel the same way too! It's my first day at Uni tomorrow and I feel awfully stressed. Tears were starting to form and my stomach was aching from anxiety. Luckily by the end of this video my mind felt lighter and I feel much calmer. Thank you so much Adriene ❤

i come back to this video almost every day. my anxiety is very severe and causes me to have seizures. I have tried many meditations but none even compare to this one. Calms me down so easily and truly brings me back to reality and where I currently am. Thank you for this meditation
Don't give up for two year's had severe anxiety attack since 2016 to 2018 now I go for months last week had an episode so am struggling to go back to normal you will get over it one step at a time

I don’t know who you are or where you are in life, but you are OK and you’re not alone. I began having sudden panic attacks about a month ago and haven’t felt peace since. I spend every waking moment worried I’m going to have another or that my health is in decline. This meditation always calms me down and resets my mind. Thank god for this video. I was on the verge of a breakdown. I could feel my chest tightening, my throat was closing, my eyes were burning. And it hurt. It hurt so much. I felt so terribly out of control and Adriene suddenly popped into my thoughts like an anchor. Last night i had a major anxiety attack which led me to lose sleep and had a bad day. I tried to do this today after my main workout bcs i feel like an anxiety attack is about to happen again so i tried to search for a meditation video to loosen up the anxiety and I found this! Aww that was lovely, thank you Adriene for that lovely calm, and loving breath practice. Before the practice, I wasn't that anxious which was unusual, I felt quite happy in myself. I am a rather anxious person, but I've been trying to work on that lately. I've been doing yoga with you now for 1 year 131 days, I've not missed a single day. It feels so good, and I feel so good. I think it is definitely having an effect on me. But after doing this breath practice, I feel a sense of calm coming over me. Before the practice I was happy, but now I feel happy, and grounded. I just had an awful panic attack last night and this morning and this virus made matters worse. Shaking like a dog and feeling numb throughout my body. The medication helped my body but this eased the mind. Thank you. Such an awful time that everyone is going through.
The 4-7-8 pattern for breathing made such a difference in how I felt from the beginning to the end of the session. Thank you for helping me get rid of some unwanted stress/anxiety.

I typically choose whatever seat Adriene chooses but today my body was telling me I needed to lay down so I listened. I observed a tightness in my throat when Adriene asked us to pay attention to our chest/heart space. My mind kept going to the child version of me and how I needed to let go of her pain, let her know that all is well now, she is worthy and shouldn’t have dealt with what she did, and that she can go play now. I think my body holds some of my trauma in my throat. For years I’ve kept my tears in, resulting in that knot feeling in my throat. I wonder if that’s part of why I developed hypothyroidism because the thyroid is located in the throat. Fascinating how emotional stuff can cause physical things to occur. It’s time for me to let it rest. Thank you Adriene for giving me this safe space to do just that. You are a blessing.
Oh, I am so incredibly thankful for you, Adriene! I've been in an anxiety spiral for almost three weeks now, and I came across this video first thing in my morning as I step back into my power. I found myself present throughout the entire meditation, smiling as I fulfilled each and every breath to my best ability. I cried when the feelings rose up and felt a release through my ears as noise. It is so hard for me to stay present in most meditations, so this one is particularly magical. It was simply perfect, a gift the Universe knew I needed. Now I can go about my day and thrive. I can finally thrive, not survive. Thank you, Adriene!

I just seem to have connected with Adriene's energy. I can't listen to any other person's guided meditation and today i really felt something. Adrienne, from the bottom of my heart thank you for this wonderful and gentle practice. The way you guide us into this journey is so loving and beautiful and I can't express how much it means knowing that we don't have to do this alone. This meditation reminded me that anxiety doesn't have to have power over our thoughts and the way we see and feel about ourselves - instead we can make a conscious decision and effort to pay attention to how we feel, make adjustments and find what makes us feel secure at this particular moment. All you need when you struggle with anxiety is something you grab on to when you feel insecure and scared and hurt and confused and afraid and today you reminded me that I already have what I need to hold on to and this is my breath - proving to me why it's all worth it.
This video really helped me a lot back in 2021 when I was experiencing overwhelming anxiety. I still use these breathing techniques in my life today to stop my anxiety spiralling out of control. Thank you.
@@Maxim777-b6d Thats a misconception wildly found in the West.. Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world and Hindu sages have been meditating in the Himalayas as early as 3000 BC. Buddhism is an offshoot of Hinduism found around 500 BC. In fact Gautama Buddha was himself a Hindu prince by the name Siddhartha. Meditation is big in Buddhism but it originated in Hinduism..

I'm 15 and I have panic attacks that make me paralyzed. One thing that helps me is by distracting myself. (I know it's hard at first, but it'll work.) I tend to focus on one object and I "space" off into the distance, clearing my mind.

Started this meditation with tears in my eyes, couldn't stop crying. I did it one time, and felt a lot better. I did it a second time, and finished feeling calm and peaceful. Your voice only feels like a warm hug to me. I've been feeling very anxious due to everything that is happening in the world. Thank you, Adriene, for being here and for being a friend.

I had same thing happen to me last night. I was at work, all good, getting on with serving food as I work in a restaurant and then I started to feel this stress rising and anxiety bubbling up, my eyes filling with tears and I couldn't stay until the end. I had to leave and as always yoga and meditation helped. I calmed down. Thank you for sharing this. It makes me feel good and not alone.

i come back to this video almost every day. my anxiety is very severe and causes me to have seizures. I have tried many meditations but none even compare to this one. Calms me down so easily and truly brings me back to reality and where I currently am. Thank you for this meditation

I don’t know who you are or where you are in life, but you are OK and you’re not alone. I began having sudden panic attacks about a month ago and haven’t felt peace since. I spend every waking moment worried I’m going to have another or that my health is in decline. This meditation always calms me down and resets my mind. Thank god for this video. I was on the verge of a breakdown. I could feel my chest tightening, my throat was closing, my eyes were burning. And it hurt. It hurt so much. I felt so terribly out of control and Adriene suddenly popped into my thoughts like an anchor. I am a rather anxious person, but I've been trying to work on that lately. I've been doing yoga with you now for 1 year 131 days, I've not missed a single day. It feels so good, and I feel so good. I think it is definitely having an effect on me. But after doing this breath practice, I feel a sense of calm coming over me. Before the practice I was happy, but now I feel happy, and grounded. I love practicing with you everyday Adriene, you always make me feel good. 💙 thank you for always being you, and for helping so many of us to find our authentic selves. I just had an awful panic attack last night and this morning and this virus made matters worse. Shaking like a dog and feeling numb throughout my body. The medication helped my body but this eased the mind. Thank you. Such an awful time that everyone is going through.

I typically choose whatever seat Adriene chooses but today my body was telling me I needed to lay down so I listened. I observed a tightness in my throat when Adriene asked us to pay attention to our chest/heart space. My mind kept going to the child version of me and how I needed to let go of her pain, let her know that all is well now, she is worthy and shouldn’t have dealt with what she did, and that she can go play now. I think my body holds some of my trauma in my throat. For years I’ve kept my tears in, resulting in that knot feeling in my throat. I wonder if that’s part of why I developed hypothyroidism because the thyroid is located in the throat. Fascinating how emotional stuff can cause physical things to occur. It’s time for me to let it rest. Thank you Adriene for giving me this safe space to do just that. You are a blessing.
Oh, I am so incredibly thankful for you, Adriene! I've been in an anxiety spiral for almost three weeks now, and I came across this video first thing in my morning as I step back into my power. I found myself present throughout the entire meditation, smiling as I fulfilled each and every breath to my best ability. I cried when the feelings rose up and felt a release through my ears as noise. It is so hard for me to stay present in most meditations, so this one is particularly magical. It was simply perfect, a gift the Universe knew I needed. Now I can go about my day and thrive. I can finally thrive, not survive. Thank you, Adriene!

I just seem to have connected with Adriene's energy. I can't listen to any other person's guided meditation and today i really felt something. I never understood why people cried during practices but today when Adriene spoke it resonated so much with me that i wept a little. Amidst all the noise, i looked inward today. Adrienne, from the bottom of my heart thank you for this wonderful and gentle practice. The way you guide us into this journey is so loving and beautiful and I can't express how much it means knowing that we don't have to do this alone. This meditation reminded me that anxiety doesn't have to have power over our thoughts and the way we see and feel about ourselves - instead we can make a conscious decision and effort to pay attention to how we feel, make adjustments and find what makes us feel secure at this particular moment. All you need when you struggle with anxiety is something you grab on to when you feel insecure and scared and hurt and confused and afraid and today you reminded me that I already have what I need to hold on to and this is my breath - proving to me why it's all worth it.
This video really helped me a lot back in 2021 when I was experiencing overwhelming anxiety. I still use these breathing techniques in my life today to stop my anxiety spiralling out of control. Thank you.

Buddhism is an offshoot of Hinduism found around 500 BC. In fact Gautama Buddha was himself a Hindu prince by the name Siddhartha. Meditation is big in Buddhism but it originated in Hinduism..

I'm 15 and I have panic attacks that make me paralyzed. One thing that helps me is by distracting myself. (I know it's hard at first, but it'll work.) I tend to focus on one object and I "space" off into the distance, clearing my mind.

Oh yeah ! I was anxious and depressive from 2th until 7th. I know what you are talking about. The psychiatrist helped me a lot.

Needed this today… had a horrible night of sickness and pain/no sleep and was so anxious about how I was going to work through today. But I choose a good day, I choose energy, peace. This makes me feel a lot less alone. Love to you all 💗

I've come back to this video countless times now, I have the words ingrained in my mind.
I remember the first, the breathing technique was quite difficult but now it's one of my favourite things, it really helps me calm down and even makes me a bit sleepy, which is wonderful before bed.
