Well, once you learn that not all statistics are right for the following reasons: not all are challenged scientifically, that you can create statistics for and against just about any topic, studies can be based on studying the opinions of 10 people from one locale (which is then used to generalize people everywhere), statistics aren't always reliable because they can be debunked or outdated, also they can be skewed to reflect whatever point you are making... then you'll know to take "stats" with a grain of salt and to make sure you know where that stat originated and whether the source is credible or not and even they can make mistakes or have limited trials), until you go and do the research and read the stats yourself, you'll never really know. Unlike Medium Man, a lot of content creators just regurgitate information, the best ones actually research their topics before talking about them.

@@Seen_not_heard Basic statistics point to outcomes that are relevant. If you have 100 people and 99 do the same thing, you can assume that the action is consistent throughout the group. All Governments and corporations use them to gage services and products, people who argue against stats generally don't like what the stat presents

If you have the means to look at the research yourself (most people don't that's why we rely on statistics), you can verify what is being said. Sometimes people do misinterpret data sets to mean something that it's not though. Inferences aren't always accurate or up-to-date is all I'm saying. I'm speaking generally, not discrediting anyone in particular.
