    I debunked the "majority" of Black men being incarcerated in a FB debate about 3 years ago with a Black woman who worked in a prison. I pointed out that only 3% of Black men are in prison and provided links to the data. The response I received......she was telling "her truth". That response received about 15 likes from women. My debunking and evidence received 1 like.

      I think I know why, Cadance Owens stated that black men are 6% of the population & since you stated only 3% is incarcerated, therefore half the population of black men are incarcerated.

      @@celinejb4730 I don't know if you are joking or being serious with this response. However Black men being 6% of the US population, doesn't mean that 3% of Black men being incarcerated means half of Black men are in prison. Those are two completely different numbers.
      I could understand the confusion if I was trying to teach some middle school drop outs, but Black women proudly boast about being the "most educated" and seem totally clueless about data and statistics.

My neighbors is a real estate broker, therapist,IT specialist, Registered Nurse, Courier Business owner, etc. All married with kids and stable households. No police cars are ever seen in the neighborhood. But these types of blacks are never featured on the media outlets or talked about. Greetings,
    While myself and many others well understand that you're into creating content that's definitely worthwhile watching and listening to, it's a great thing that you provide inks that people can follow up on and do the research themselves on.
    What I DON'T like, is how BFS allow WFS to move the goal post BACK from what we've already done, as if BM have NEVER done ANYTHING since we've been here and we're JUST starting to examine the social ills of BM that have been ongoing, this DIDN'T just start yesterday, it's antiquated and it puts BM, AGAIN in a position to have to explain themselves AND their existence in this society, totally excusing everything that BM have accomplished BEFORE!
    Imho, it slows us down and takes VALUABLE time away from much MORE pertinent things that we SHOULD be working towards, such as forming a COLLECTIVE and generating an ECONOMY for ourselves and our people (we did that during segregation), SIMPLY because we're so DAMN concerned about what OTHERS think of US and WHY they don't like US! It doesn't matter whether they like us or not, that's NEVER stopped us from getting things handled in the past and we'll be FOOLISHLY wasting our time to let it stop us NOW, EFF ALL THAT!
    BM have fought in every war this country has ever had, were INSTRUMENTAL in building every monument in Washington DC and every major freeway AND bridges of this country, from the Brooklyn bridge in NYC, to the Golden gate and Bay bridges in California, DESPITE the endless obstacles and underhanded tactics used to cripple their efforts, there's plenty of pictures and historical archives that they can't DESTROY fast enough to prove this! The Whitehouse was BUILT and REBUILT by BM after it was burned down in the civil war, ALL those plantation homes still standing throughout the south, that can't be replicated and are now landmarks, were BUILT by BM!
    WFS are QUICK to EXCUSE all the things BFS have built AND participated in the building of and now, they've got US doing the SAME DAMN THING to ourselves! The CDC (WFS, for those of you who need that confirmation to BELIEVE), has determined that BM are the MOST engaged with their children, than ANY other race of men in America TODAY and since there's a stepped up campaign to ELIMINATE BM (nothing NEW), WHY would they put something like that out there? So much for BM being NOTHING more than worthless ne'er-do-wells and felonious convicts.... RIGHT?
    Food for THOUGHT, grounds for RESEARCH!🤔

    Man has always used hierarchical structures as a way of expressing differences among people/things but unfortunately, this structure has often been hijacked to assign value and worth to these differences which are self serving to some while simultaneously detrimental to others. Sad that this “hijacking” is still prevalent in the world today.

      @@mediummanI think both have played a part in the dysfunction of the black community. Stop with the finger pointing, Its everyone else’s fault right.? You can cherry pick all the stats you want, just look at majority of Black communities, most are crime ridden and dilapidated. Men live in that community too, what are they doing to rectify the situation? How is this information going to empower anyone? This is just another channel to bash women.

    Black men still face discrimination, without a doubt, but you can still go get it, without going to college. Bro, go get a professional trade & build your own business, hire your people & watch the money pile up, all while helping your people!!!!

    13:27 If you can't afford to retire and pass wealth to your children can we consider you middle class??

    • @mediumman
      @mediumman  8 місяців тому +12

      You tell me. If only 16% of the population are able to pass on a wealth inheritance to their children, and only 3% are able to pass on a million or more, how would middle class earner be able to do that? Also, being in the middle class and generational wealth have nothing to do with one or the other. What made you ask/correlate the two?

    • @eq2092
      @eq2092 8 місяців тому +4

      I have seen multiple studies that show that the upper class, which I'm defining as a net worth of $1-million or more, is not static. 80% of millionaires are 1st generation rich meaning that they inherited nothing.

    • @mediumman
      @mediumman  8 місяців тому +3

      @@eq2092 upper middle class is around $89k - $149k annually. And no class is static, since most people will have an opportunity to move up in class. About 6 to 8% of the US population are millionaires, with about 88% being self made. These stats may vary from different reporting sources, however that’s about the average of three sources I looked at (statista, fidelity, and motley).

I helped her get her Masters Degree. When we met I was 36 years old looking to buy my first house. Now, 23 years later we own our dream home outright (no mortgage)....and several other properties. We built together and now our net worth is in that category. Hopefully she will retire from her 6 figure job in a few years to join me. Productive Black Men are WINNING.

    This video and the report disingenuous and detrimental to the reality in America.
    When analyzing the federal reserve data it shows a different story. Also if you resd any of the Color of Wealth Reports (Los Angelos, Miami, Boston, or DC) you will understand the severity of the problem.
