  • It's been a bit since we have experienced rapid switching, probably because i've been front stuck quite a lot over the last months. Sending love & Take care - Isa

For us it varies a lot based on which alters it is and the situation. Sometimes we yawn, sometimes we tic, sometimes we blink a bunch, sometimes we stare into the void for a while, sometimes we lean forward and rest our head on something and come back up, and sometimes (very often actually) someone will slowly slide into the front as someone else slowly slides away and we won't even notice that we've switched until later. In our system there's usually a lot of co-con/co-front happening so that can make it a lot harder to tell when or how we switch

A friend noticed some time ago that when we dissociate, we start kind of playing with out nails? Like picking them, not sure how to explain it, it doesn't hurt. We haven't noticed anything we do when switching tho

Hi Isa, Drew and Pizza System members! So good to see you in another video.
It's a cloudy afternoon here in Oakland, and I imagined I'm there with you, working on that gorgeous puzzle~
You know how yawning can be contagious? Well usually I don't catch it from your videos. When you mentioned that weird feeling in your neck, I touched my neck, and then suddenly I got 🥱 too! Hehe
Future plans for your channel sound interesting, but also I enjoy the way your channel is now!
Thanks for going to the trouble of uploading, and see you next time~ ❤️

You all look less tired than usual, or we're just exhausted. Too much driving for us today.

We also yawn when we switch sometimes as well as experiencing that sort of constant feeling like you need to yawn. We knew that it was fairly common regarding the yawning while switching but we thought we were the only ones that had that constant feeling in our throat so its good to know that we aren’t

Were y'all already aware that you were part of a system when you were yawning all the time? Like, were you aware that you were switching when you were yawning? As someone who is pretty much stuck in the questioning phase, I am still trying to understand how some systems can switch all the time without the alters (not just the host) noticing that they're switching in and out. Is it that subtle or are you just not aware of it until you go through syscovery and then it becomes more obvious that it was actually a switch and not just a regular yawn?

No we didn't. It was something our girlfriend noticed after our diagnosis as well as it was something we could observe when we edited our videos 🖤
Regarding the noticing if someone switches in & out it really depends for us, Sometimes we do notice that we might switch when we are feeling switchy, sometimes it is just sudden. But it is hard to explain and not the same for every system 🖤 - isa

Is there any way you can put the names of who is talking instead of the *switching caption? If you put a name, we'll automatically know you switched. If it's difficult, please don't worry about it :)

We are currently working on new icons for some of our alters, that will include their Name 🖤 hopefully we'll be able to finish that soon so it's going to be a bit more organized. - isa

we are osdd 1.b. i've heard another system suggest yawning reduces brain temperature... and i checked that there are several academic papers on that aspect. So if your brain is getting overstimulated during a switch, yawning is fast way to protect the brain by reducing brain temperature. We notice change in voice/emotional state/body language when changing. We are also 80% yawn on switch.

There is no such thing as OSDD1b please stop claiming DID ! It is a theory! APA stated to stop claiming this in there DSM or Diagnostics as it is not! I am disabled with this awful disorder and so tired of people saying they have DID and saying it's OSDD1B OR 1A! OSDD IS NOT DID!

@@evamarie2247 I did not say i have DID. I have OSDD 1.B.. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Other_specified_dissociative_disorder which is in the DSM-5. Please provide me a link to APA to stop claiming OSDD1b is in DSM.

@The High Tech System here you go! Also ask ur Mental health care provider to show u such a diagnostic in the dsm 5! As a person who has fought this issue for since 2009 and this stupid trend started I fight for what is real and isn't! OSDD1B OR 1A IS A THEORY! GOT AN ISSUE WITH THAT TAKE IT UP WITH THE APA! - ua-cam.com/video/8rw2xl7wGUc/v-deo.html

Can you control the switching or is it random?

    • @thepizzasystem
      @thepizzasystem  2 роки тому +4

We can't control switching, there are some known things that have a high possibility to trigger specific alters, but that is something we don't do. - isa
