4:02 And that's the difference in mindest and user experience. Many of us don't want to pay for temporary performance that could be unpredictably reduced at any time, because the manufacturer wanted to save money and didn't design it right, and the car had to cut power. Specified performance should be a constant performance that the car should be able to deliver 99% of the time on an SoC above 10%. By your logic, every EV on the market can increase its paper peak power by 10-15% because the components are capable of handle it for 20-30 seconds. This is also an interesting development of your point of view. When you first drove the Vinfast in Vegas, you were dissatisfied that the car for whatever reason didn't seem to be performing according to the specifications on paper, and now that's the right strategy.
There's a few ways to see it ... five Macan electric variants is Porsche playing the old pricing ladder sales trick, and could potentially confuse the consumer. And/or ... five Macan electric variants affords consumers more choice in terms or power, range and price, so they can better select a sweet spot for them. Given I would personally sacrifice some power for more range, for range and comfort are my two top priorities, the five options suits me. I can chose max range for the "cheaper" price. 5.7 seconds to 60 mph is decent for me. For those who want more power they can slide up the scale.

3:46 an additional 120kW?! So a simple paddle adds almost an entire Chevy Bolt of power to what you’re already pushing!
I would guess when RSQ6 is launched there will come a Macan Turbo S to make sure Porsche have the fastest version
Thank You for All that you are doing for our Planet Earth.... Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste .. 🙏🏻 😊 ✌ ☮ ❤ 🕊

Gotta convert a 1980’s Suburban!
They should make it an option for the ID-Buzz
Hmm 75.000 $ I think the german price will be more. I do not know why cars in the US are often so much cheaper or better equipped for the same price.
No VAT. German price is 80k€
@@e-redj Thanks. So not cheap but not total out of range.
Is it all electric car ? 😊
In Europe it's now all EV only for Macan. In the US there are some ICE variants.

Nissan Ariya who?
Folks are digitizing sleazy 90s salesmen with these confusing trims.
Boost function might just be a ploy to boost the 0-60 times for marketing purposes
Pricing ladder, yeah. Luckily for me I'm a range over power guy.
Macan models are too confusing causing many to lose interest.

Not confusing at all. Most Porsche buyers can read.
It is not confusing to Porsche buyers at all, it is a weird system but they use it on all their models.
