So you're okay with companies skimping on basic usable design just because there exists an aftermarket solution? Would you be okay with steel wheels on your expensive car because aftermarket alloy wheels exist? @@shou635
They also added a blind spot indicator light in the driver/passenger mirrors like most cars instead of the red dot light in the door speakers like in the Model 3.
If that is the case, and if on the Taiwanese Tesla site it states 5-6 months for availability, one would assume that USA will be about a month or so earlier. So guess, is, USA in 4 months, Canada 5 months, rest 6 months.
Wish they would have waist handles over the doors, for elderly and disabled this is a need. Removing components found in other cars saves them money but costs them sales. Stalks all day every day.
Tesla would never do that, they are about efficiency and slowing down the assembly line and having more things to store that complicate the assembly is not their M.O.
The silver blocks radiant heat but does nothing for convective heat which is the problem with cold getting in in the winter. Radiant heat is an issue from the hot sun in the summer.
Nice video, I think the glass roof design improvement is a big deal for hot-weather range preservation. I can remember a road trip through Arizona and CA in my Y in 115 to 120F heat that affected range significantly. Time will tell how much of a difference it will make.
Lots of these new features aren’t moving the needle forward just catching up to today’s standard features. They should be looking down the road a few years and implementing features ahead of the current feature set to compete as these age.
In your first Juniper release video, I commented on the lack of mention of the missing black exterior option. Thank you for addressing this concern right off the bat. Let’s hope the black color option will be available for the North American market at launch. The Model Y is a very popular car for Uber drivers on the Uber Black platform, and the black exterior/interior is a restrict requirement for eligibility on that platform.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I’d like to see Tesla add a few more colors. First choice would be a green like the ford eruption green or an English racing green. Maybe some matte colors and something bold like orange or purple. The new blue is fine, but another darker blue would be good too.
"Silver-coated insulated glass" is what is normally known as a one-way mirror. The slight elongation of the body may also help the aero. Glad they are finally listening to negative customer feedback. Reintroduction of stalks (and round steering wheel) may also have to do with the announcement of a dedicated robotaxi vehicle, whereas before I think Tesla was leaving open the possibility of normal Tesla vehicles becoming robotaxis, in which case they wouldn't need these controls.
The power of dual electric motors really changes the game! With incredible acceleration and handling, it’s no wonder this setup is becoming so popular. 🚗⚡ #ElectricMotors #DualMotors #TechInnovation
I currently have a 2024 Model 3. Stalks for the shifting of gears is silly now if you have experienced it. The car automatically puts it in gear due to it's surroundings using the cameras and when you back out of driveway or a parking spot, you just put your foot on the brake pedal and turn the steering wheel an inch or two and it puts it from reverse to drive without touching the screen.
Looks like some have indicator stalk and some dont. You can tell the difference on the wheel itself. The ones without stalks have left and right indicator buttons on the wheel and the ones shown is a left side indicator stalk dont have the left / right wheel buttons.
@@itsatrap7215 But sometimes ist makes false decision (different from what I want). You always have to look on the screen to verify, what it hast decided. Then correct it sometimes. If you want to save cost, get rid of the "ambiente light". It is of no use at all.
I thought Tiawan was supplied by Fremont/ Berlin because of trade restrictions between China and Tiawan. I imagine they will be getting the black Y's from Berlin.
There is no reason to increase the range assuming they could. More range means it weighs more and costs more. If the car gets over 300 miles per charge, you will never need the increased range until you travel. But 99% of the time you are not traveling but driving nearby your home. So it's a waste for everyone to have say 500 mile ranged car.
@@itsatrap7215 300 miles never = 300 miles in the real world. I agree adding weight isn’t desirable, but obviously if they could add 100 miles without a ton (figuratively) of weight it would be a benefit. Here in rural AZ a detour can be 40 + miles so I’ll take that extra any time. Also, longer range vehicles means less SC usage, and I’m all for that as well. For the most part 300 miles is plenty even if we don’t realize it, you are right. Range anxiety is a thing of the past with a Tesla for the most part, now I’m hearing people complaining about overall trip times being increased due to charging stops / time. There’s always something!
I was prepared to go Stalkless, but I am glad they include it.
Stalks are a big plus for me.
It's make or break to me. Removing the indicator stalk was so obviously a cost cutting measure disguised as "innovation".
I also use the wiper button on the end a lot because the auto mode "has no idea what's going on".
I don’t know what the big deal was. 3rd party stalks existed like from s3xy buttons.
@@shou635 The fact there is enough of a market to justify making aftermarket parts means there are a LOT of drivers who want them.

The drain is such a little thing to add and probably very low cost, but it's one of those features that makes so much sense.
Excellent review young man. Keep up the good work.

As I understand it, Taiwan gets its autos from the US. So if it's getting black, it's because the US will offer the black color.
This is correct.

Is there a stalk to change gears ?
I wish they would add a non glass roof option or a cover for it. It is particularly nice to keep heat in for winter.
And better acoustics
@@Toycollector33 Their new glass roof is now silver coated and 'seven' times more heat resistant. Per the marketing material at least.

Teslas sold in Taiwan are made at Fremont since China doesn't allow Tesla to export to Taiwan from it's Shanghai plant. Or so I've heard.
Another great and informative video.
Thanks for more details about the Model Y. Did you find any information about the third row seat available on current model?

Model 3 has additional full range speaker on front door above woofer.
Just little different cover
Imagine a stalk being the big innovation in 2025, this is too funny.
I think the great innovation is Tesla listening to consumers.
Model X size 6 seat Model Y.
Great video. Thanks.
Not sure the roof insulation is as effective for heat as cold ? i would have liked a mowing screen that can keep the light out.
