Hey Green Day fan here. I saw Green Day play live in Las Vegas last year and I saw two kids get pulled up to play with them (When we were young music festival Day one)
I had a whole seizure when Mick Mars showed up. He’s like my hero. I have a chronic illness that makes my connective tissue weaker than it should be, and love playing guitar but I struggle playing for extended periods of time because of pain. I also have an unhealthy addiction to Mötley Crüe’s music, so that adds a bit to it 😂
I would love to see you do these guitarists. Roy Buchanan, Robert Fripp, Paul Gilbert, Buckethead, St Vincent, Adam Granduciel, Billy Corgan, Jeff Beck. Much love.
Yorke is Red - major anger issues and a bit of a diva at times. Greenwood is , ironically, Green - put up with yorke and outshined his older brother in the band and trust me, as a lil bro myself, it's hard to get out of their shadow Marr is green- put up with morissey things. nuff said. dunno abt other 2.
I’ve been playing for 18 years! Learning solos that are a bit above your skill level is a great way to improve - Just remember to start slow and be patient with your progress!
@jordanwav Thanks mate, I'm a classical pianist (playing for nearly 13 years) who maybe to play jazz/rock someday and hard pieces (from Mozart and Beethoven to Rachmaninov and Bartok certainly help)
Guthrie litteraly humbled me. I went from wanting to be the best guiar player in the world to accepting that my competitiveness was ruining me and guthrie really did help with his amazing virtuosity. I own this man a lot.
....And........the next guitarist in this series is Mark Knopfler. Green Flag....He always gives credit on stage to his band members and is so humble, even in his last concert in 2019 at 70yo. Yes he is still going. Oh and he's the greatest guitarist that ever lived. Don't know him? Well maybe one should do more research.
