Oh man I wish that were the case, unfortunately it looks like at this point the only new games that are going to be released are Homebrew titles. I guess you never know though.

@@PSVitaat2am Actually delved into Thunder Paw and MetaGal. Didn't realize they were the same developer, and easy platinums lol. But Thunder Paw got a Sega Genesis port, and it made me curious about the original, so I had to buy it! Sadly, the Genesis version is a bit better lol. Still was fun. And I still have a lotta Vita to go. Went and reorganized my home screen and checked what other stuff I had on my PSN account. But that's just my official Vita TV. Of course I got a second for hacks! Lol

Its cool to see that this game is gonna be on the ps vita like it was supposed have done. I remember back when Forgotten Memories was supposed to be on the Vita. The developer hyped it up so much that it got me excited to. It was like a Silent Hill style game. I kept nagging to the developer when it was coming, kept saying soon, then no update. Only released on smartphones. I was so mad at them for abandon it for the vita. Now the game is being put on the switch. I really hope that the mod/hack community can bring that came to the system as well.
Oh yeah I remember that title, it was going to be a brand new IP for the PS Vita and everything. I remember seeing trailer and gameplay footage from other UA-cam channels back in the day, a shame we never got it. 😔

I’m thinking about getting the new handheld anyway, just in case, even if a year or two down the road, they change their mind about the PS5 exclusivity and make it a straight up, cloud streaming device connected to your PsPlus account.
I can completely understand your idea with that, you never know what the future might hold for it.

I haven't been with it long but seems interesting. You thinking of covering the PS cloud handheld and how disappointing it is that it was real. Sigh Switch, better cloud handhelds with android and offline and PC handhelds we will stay.

I have never heard of Pixel Noir until now. Another game that was announced for Vita only to be cancelled the next day was FF Type-0. Oh boy, I remembered that shitstorm and I don't even have a Vita at that time.

I plan to make a video on it for the future. However at the moment in my opinion I personally find it kind of pointless, although it is nice to see Sony coming out with something. I handheld device that only works with the PS5 and requires an internet connection just doesn't seem very feasible.

The vita in its current design and software is still ahead of its time. And then home brew…come on what more do you really need? And it’s way more cost efficient. My vita comes in handy while I’m at work for 8-10 hours. And don’t forget I can still control a PS3 and PS4 if I really want to play a console game that bad. See how many options you have with a system that’s how old ?

While I love the Vita, in the "What more do you need" section I have two painpoints that unfortunately not even the modding community can fix: proper trigger buttons and clickable analog sticks. That would just make it so much more compatible. Apart from that I'd say yes, the Vita is still at least on par with the time when it comes to user experience, despite its aging chipset.
Im not a vita owner for that long but sure the visual style of the game looks interesting...
It's an interesting part of the PS Vita's history at this point. If this user is able to get it up and running it'll really feel like things have come full circle.

LOL modern handhelds already have a hard time playing those, and the dreamcast emulator for the Vita is iffy at best....But yeah you are for sure gonna be able to play PS2 and GC on a 10+ year old handheld
Yes it's unfortunate, but those games are just a bit too high demanding for our beloved PS Vita. I had heard somebody was attempting to Port Simpsons Hit and run directly to it, but I don't have high hopes for that project.

Make sure both are hacked on the same firmware, then you can always copy and paste what you need to your PC to a folder, then paste it to your new modded PS vita.

Yes but it's only via remote play.
Can some one please fix black ops declassified and give us what we was supposed to have or at least mod it to be black ops 1 or 2 and by fix I mean the multiplayer the maps and put 6v6 and the audio of the guns and graphics and kill streaks and modes
That would definitely make the game more appealing to a larger group of people, so many people had issues with that release.
