Dude - so love your videos and the fact you never give up. I live in Australia and have always loved raptors. As far as I know, I think we have about zero falconers here. A shame, because I'd love to learn the craft, but suppose I'm too old now. However, (just for this video), hard to take you seriously with that goofy mask on - ha ha.
It's been rough trapping here in Texas. I've driven over 5,000 miles, Got a flat tire on a country road, and talked to various strangers wondering about what I was doing. In the end it was worth it because I finally trapped a 42 oz bird yesterday. Good luck to you in the future and happy hawking.
@@thecggames Yeah I've had good and not so good with early and late. It will be nice to start hunting and most of the leaves will be down. And no skeeters!
can you post a link to the lice and mite spray? I get the flat flies on my birds on occasion and need a better spray. you need to find a local pigeon guy who's house you can trap at. they'll have everything you need flying round.
Love how they smack their lips on the trap, and how the mice don't seem scared of them at all
@@rookbirdblues Yeah he was ready for breakfast! 😂
Love the Halloween sound track!! I never close my car door when dropping the BC. I drive away and don't close it until I am a good distance away!
@@FRamirez1A Thanks! Yeah that Jeb will never learn! 😂
@@FinsandTalons lol
It was cool when the hawk looked at the camera, you could really see it’s eyes
@@RyDog34-j6b It was really neat! What are the odds the half-blind hawk we catch looks right at the camera?

@@philipsutton8921 I can't take myself serious either 😂. Thank you! Oh man I bet there's so many opportunities in your country for falconry!

Yeah it took me almost 2500 miles. That's why I got a beater car! Congrats on that bird - give em hell this season!
Lol, love the outfit from scarlett

On a positive note, late season passage hawks tend to be beasts. Hopefully the dry spell ends and you get the one you're looking for soon.

No one called law enforcement with you looking like that and holding a bird in a skin suit…….
Nope, it's 2024. No one thought anything of it. 😂
It puts the lotion on the skin
@nickmalo8072 Or it gets the hose again
