This is a very well made video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge to this struggling first time trolling fisherman.
Great video! Just what I needed, thanks!

I catch them to 30 feet now and the water is 70. Trout can handle warmer water these days.
I was out trout fishing Tuesday around 1:35 in the afternoon and caught a nice 15-inch brookie and It had a nice little chubby belly. I caught it on a black and gold trout magnet,
One is better than nothing right.
Some great information right here
Tight lines
Right on Shawn! I haven't caught a brookie yet this year, but I will!

👍👍
Gonna try and use this method on the CT River
Nice! Best of luck Shawn!
Do you have a video which shows your trolling setup? I'm trying to figure out how to attach weight without a downrigger.
I will be doing a video soon on the full setup soon with different weight setups!
I noticed the video shows spin-casting reels - do you have success sinking line with those (weights, leadcore, braided line?) and how big a reel? Thanks!
with spinning reels, going with a good braided mainline and some weight does get the bait down. But if you need to go super deep, I would go with a baitcaster reel and 20lb braided main line.
Look into Offshore Tadpoles. They get you down with less line out.
Hey, I was wondering if you know the Bethany Lake and Commonwealth Lake areas and how well the fishing is. We’re gonna be heading up that way this weekend and wanna know what fishing there is.
Hey Gman! I do know those areas a little! Short leader for plunking. Eggs work great!
@@WillyFish thanks a lot 👍
How do you gauge how deep your going without down riggers. Is there a general rule about how much weight, line out, ect
Great question Erik! I will have a video coming soon to show how to know depth without a down rigger
I think you forgot about the people who don’t have fish finders😅
