Okay so what I can gather from this song, his parents divorced and his caring mother left with his sibling and left him with the father. He got into drama and began to hide everything behind his fake feelings, his acting was both on and off the stage, pretending everything was fine. If he ever breaks persona he's scared people will leave him, that's why he keeps fighting on. And this song is about him breaking down his apathetic seize of power, breaking down his own masks and being unable to tell which one is real behind the crowded feelings.
So another way of putting it would be that he learned to feel different ways until feelings lost meaning to him....holly crap this dark and I love it!
Atin O To be exact, he wasnt very sociable compared to his younger brother which factored in him being left behind when the mothers chose which child to take with her.

I'm 2sweg4u I believe it's a Psychological thing. Or to put it simply. Your mind enjoys characters of a certain personalty (Or some other variation). For example my favorite kind of characters are characters that I can commune to (whether it's their personality, a problem they suffer with or (rarely) their feeling about something simply depends on the character) which is why Sadamatsu is my favorite. Of course, Yuto's in a close second because I suffer with the same problem as him. However, when there isn't a character I can commune to my mind goes to my second favorite kind of character. The "Dark-Shadow-Mirrors" cause I love the evil version of the hero for some reason. And then when they don't have either of those two I will probably never find a favorite character. However, I have noticed that my mind "Joined the Dark Side" the last time that happened.
Oh boy, oh boy! I'm sorry for making this long meaningless comment about why I believe we like a certain kind of character....
The dark side has more Freedom Than the good side. The good side is always forced to follow a pattern like don't kill when necessary or put the intrests of the Society over your own. A Bad Guy can rule in anarchy, make everything possible, create strange devices and Victious Plans. The Hero just destroys everything and Even don't Uses the weapons he found for his advantage.

It's possible that Asuhi (astronomy boy) is Yuto's brother who his mother chose over him. Asuhi seems to be an important figure in Yuto's life, has similar hair style as his brother and it looks like they also have an age gap. Asahi could have just easily dyed his blond hair to the unusual teal/white combo.

There are so many things you guys could have commented on. "I love his character design!" "Thanks for subbing this, Ame!" "What a catchy tune!" BUT NO, you decide to say something that is SPECIficaLLY ASKEd nOT TO SAY. I get that it's fun to compare characters, but ignoring someone's requests to not comment on something is just plain rude. Unless you didn't even bother to read the description, which in that case please start doing that more.
On a happier note, Akama Yuto is amazing and when you look at the improvement between this video and the later songs in the Mikagura School Suite Series, it's amazing how Last Note and crew have improved since then!

For all those drawing comparisons to Yobanashi Deceive: they both talk about deceiving people, but Yuto seems to have much different reasons for going about it than Kano does.
Not only does he just look like Kano either, but they have similar personalities. Both 'decieving' everyone even themselves.

I really love Kagepro, and I see how he reminds people of Kano, but I have to agree with you... It's just annoying how everyone compares Yuto and Kano, just because they look and act similar... And it really bugs me how people are saying he's a rip-off of Kano, since he's honestly not ;-;
siraphob Buahong The personality is definitely different. Talking on the inside mainly. Yuto looks empty and quiet inside as if he lost a lot of his emotions, Kano instead crys inside, showing he still holds his emotions not far from him. Also Kano's song is more about self identity as you can see Kano struggling to find who he is, even his gender is questioned by himself.
Both are pretty cool though. Btw does anyone know if the anime for mikagura school suite was good?

I never understood what the lethargic coup d'etat was fighting against or what it meant for it to be lethargic in the first place but now that I revisit the song I kinda see at the coup d'etat being against him getting depressed/ letting his repressed feelings get him down. It's lethargic because it's not a fight he wants to fight, it's not something he even wants to accept or face head on but he has to so he does so, with very little energy to actually do it, making it unbearable and difficult to keep his facade (which is part of the coup). Basically he's fighting against himself and doesn't even want to but if he doesn't the "state" ( coup d'etat means like a blow to the state) wins.
Decided to listen to the album on Spotify and cried when this and Izayoi Seeing came up and I could still remember the melody

This gave him a deep fear of rejection, and he uses his acting skills to prevent himself from being ignored or isolated.

In my opinion, I think that Kano and Yuto just have the same ability(to deceive) and they aren't related. They are from different projects so I think it's just a coincidence they have the same power but don't really have any other affiliations.

A coup d'état, (coo day-tah) or just a coup is like someone killing the head of a government or leader of their own nation. I think that here it's used to mean that he wants to overwrite the way he lives or thinks.
