Great technique but the rolling fottage attached is outstanding! To see how you apply it in sequences broadens the context of the technique so much more. Learned a lot. Thank you for your content!!!
I really like how you break down the technique and then have rolling footage to show a lot of examples. After watching this a couple weeks ago I’ve been able to hit it successfully several times and now have another really effective submission from the back! Thanks for all the great content.
I’ve watched so many of your videos and I’m always so impressed how you manage to find that roll you do to take someone’s back. You do it everytime no matter who you’re rolling against. I’m only a few months in to Bjj but it seems like something I need to learn ASAP! Thanks for the awesome vids, they’re extremely helpful
You guys are really out here putting together great content! Thank you both for all the work you’re putting in. Also, you guys look like you’re in great shape. Do you have any plans of producing content that speaks to your workout routines?
This is a great addition to my back finishes, people always avoid falling to overside with me cos of my arm triangle/Ezekiel threat. Underside is weak for me
When you place you foot near to your partner’s head on his/her arm to break the grip (as seen at ~ 2:00), doesn’t it weakens you control of the head and make you vulnerable to escapes like the opponent sneaking his/her head under your thigh or rolling sideways?
How do you control their head once you put your feet on their bicep to strip the grip? There's a big gap that I'm afraid will be taken advantage of. Happy to hear your thoughts!
You don't really need to because the kimura grip prevents them from coming up to their knees. The leg over the head just stops people from bridging to their knees. That's it's only function. If I feel a strong bridge coming I may adjust to better head, contrl or grab the leg instead which would serve the same function. Prevents them from coming to their knees.
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu I fought in 155 lbs weight category. My natural weight was around 68,5kg at this time so I was little bit light for the weight category. Actually after 6 years my weight is pretty much same, somewhere between 68-69kg. But still I won my two fights in that tournament so I have good memories from that competitions :) Sory for the long answer 😅

Thanks man I just uploaded one now that has rolling footage too. Hope it helps! 😁

That is awesome man! Happy to help :)
That’s forearm across the face 01:13 is the small detail that will help me correct my mistake with arm bars from the back. Thx professor! OSS!
Always the small details that make the most impact 🙂🙏
Great job Nikki. Jordan is nothing without you!! Great job as always professor.
You're right about that! Thank you 🙏
Love the Kimura Grip love the details and the wicked quality!
Those rolling back takes are a thing of beauty
Your ability to repeatedly get the back take in the rolling sequences is magical.
Thank you! 🙏 🙂

Thank you! The back is my favorite position. I can always find weird and slick ways to get there 🙂
Appreciate the real scenario/ rolling. Insane touch to video I don’t think anyone else does.

Awesome vid! One of my favourite techniques
Thanks!
AWESOME I love this and I watch UA-cam everyday. Something new to watch
Awesome! We need a tuto on the back take you used multiple times tho ! :D
Great tutorial as always, thanks for putting out this content!
My pleasure 🙂
Good video would be how to get someones back from all sorts of positions! Keep up the great work!
Definitely! A back attack video will be one of my Sept technique guides 🙂
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu Awesome! Thank you
You seem to be a great coach! Great videos, keep it up!
Thanks man. I really appreciate that. Working on a really good one for Wednesday. Hope you like it too!
Excellent! Continued success!!
Thanks bro. You're the man!
the backtake sequence from 4:00 and 5:03 is beautiful!
Thank you! I love taking the back 😍
GREAT VID GUYS!!! VERY GOOD!
Kimura Seatbelt- Definitely one of my favourite set ups from the back!
Great alternative to the choke! One of my favs too.
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu You read my mind! lol

Glad that it's been useful 🙂
Can you do an X-Guard video please! Love the video always.
I plan to 🙂
Very slick
Would be good to see how to escape these techniques too in future vids 👌
I love the weak side control. I hit a wrist lock there all the time and if I miss the arm is just waiting

There is slight risk but the risk to reward is worth it. There's not many techniques that you are 100% safe from counters 🙂

Do you have an instructional on far side armbar?
I don't but I will soon. My next rolling commentary has one in it. It should be up in a couple days!
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu sick
4:28 how the hell did you do that.

It was proffesional MMA fight at the end?
Amateur back in 2016
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu I also had my first amateur mma fight in military service 2016 ☺️
@@tuner551 very cool!! What weight did you fight at? I did 170 day of weigh ins. Probably coulda done 155 if it were day before weigh ins.
