Yeah, I wish Zippo would've offered them at a cheaper price. I had found out on a Reddit group that they were coming out almost a year before Zippo released them and saved up for it. I have two solid copper Zorro lighters coming from China. They're thicker than this Zippo one and have machined hinges right into the case. Each was only one-third the price of this Zippo one. Looking forward to making a video on those.
It really is a beautiful lighter. It most likely would've been a bit cheaper without the deep carving and inlay. I heard last November, through a Reddit Zippo group, that they were coming out this summer. I've been saving up for it since.
Glad it's not numbered. I'm am going to use the heck out of it. I have a couple early 2000s ones I daily also. I like the natural patina they gain. Same with the 23 model. Just hope the black flame doesn't wear away easily n
This is my third solid copper. I have a 2003 and the last one Zippo released with the black insert. I wonder how long the black flame will last under daily use?
@@zippolyonsden1623 The black flame is epoxy. I'd think it would be fine for an edc. My grandfather used to make Dominoe sets out of an epoxy. Just my take on it.
I've been thnking of replacing my daily use zippo from the st benedict to a solid copper armor just to watch it patina and tarnish overtime. Not sure how i feel about the inlay though.
@@zippolyonsden1623 I ended up making this purchase lmao should be arriving in 3-5 days. I figured the fact that it's a limited-edition inlay adds nice unique touch to it and might actually look better as the patina develops. i must have rewatched this video 8 times before making up my mind lol thanks for the upload. just dropped a sub too keep it up!!!
@MonstersFlyinginTheSky thank you for subscribing!! Mine has tarnished a little bit already, just sitting in the box in the case I have it in. When you get yours, it'll be interesting to find out what year the insert is, along with whether the bottom stamp is right side up or not.
That's actually very nice. Looked it up out of my price range a $106.

@zippolyonsden1623 oh I see
I just pressed buy after watching this video so thank you!
It really is a sweet looking Zippo!
i was hoping they were numbered i ordered one but haven't made it home yet to see it looks sweet congrats on your purchase terry
It definitely would have been cool if they were individually numbered. Awesome to hear you were able to get one as well Chuck.
@@zippolyonsden1623 ya my zippo purchases were alitye this week lol shhhh so wife doesn't hear
Lol, same here. Except my lady knows and even encourages my madness 😅
Thanks for sharing!
Very welcome! Thank you for having them availble for such a good price!
@@zippolyonsden1623 you're very welcome!
That's a gorgeous lighter. It's out of my lighter price range and I'm happy with my solid copper one already.

I can second that!

@Gary-ks8rz thank you for the info. You're right, too. It should last for a long time.
Nice!

I felt the same way about the inlay as well. It does look good. I wish Zippo would've just made it a plain armor case.

@@zippolyonsden1623 same if they ever release one without the inlay i'll definitely be making that purchase.

I thought that was my dog barking😂
😂That's our Sheltie, Maggie, lol. When I rewatched the video and she heard herself, she started barking at the TV 🤣🤣

Hello, and thank you for tuning in from Malaysia. As of now, I do not sell lighters. Will let you know if I start to thin out the collection.
