Yeah slick lighter buds. I like the zorro too. They Didnt come up with it though. An American did in his garage. It was called the Carlson War Armor. I have an original. It’s titanium also
The more I've been using it, the more I like it. I'm waiting for copper ones to come in the mail, hopefully soon. That is really cool about the Carlson War Armor! I didn't know that. I'm debating getting the Zorro titanium alloy one as well.
@ u can order a round top or square top. Pretty cool to have the option. Get the titanium. It’s way lighter in weight but so durable. A hunk of titanium That big has such a nice feel to it. Also u can anodize it any colour u want just gotta hook it up to electricity
I'm really liking the feel of the square top. Will definitely have to order the titanium one. They're all pretty cheap on Aliexpress currently. I wish I had started using the brass one sooner.
Having many Zippo lighters since de second half of the 90s until recent years to ignite cigars and tobacco pipes then discovering Zorro lighters that are more sturdy and work as good and reliable as Zippos, now I EDC a Zorro 915S that the only con is the weight but I am sure it will last me forever (it's build like a tank)
Zorro has definitely made some really sweet lighters. I recently received the titanium 912. Being used to the brass 912, I was really surprised with how much lighter the titanium one is.
I had to look up what you're asking. Good question. Will have to see if I can figure that out. Never knew before that brass could possibly contain lead. Makes me wonder about almost all Zippos too now since they are brass cases.
Checked with someone much more learned in metallurgy than I am, lol. They said that the amount of lead wouldn't affect a person with normal use, like doorknobs, knife handles, and lighters. The problem with lead is with brass pipe fittings in water lines and such with water flow that would absorb the lead particles. All would be good with a brass lighter as long as a person doesn't sit around sucking on it they said, lol.
I love Zippo lighters but it's getting tougher to justify paying the prices they put on a street chrome with a subpar sticker. Zorro doesn't have nearly the selection but I've been more than pleased with each Zorro I have purchased. Great video.
I've been feeling the same way with Zippo and their prices in the last couple of years. Have also been very pleased with the Zorros I've gotten for my collection. They really are sweet lighters.
The Zorro 912 has been my everyday carry for the past 6 months. With my usage it lasts me 15 - 16 days (zippo used to last 7 - 8 days). I have replaced the zorro cotton with the zippo rayon though. Dont think I will ever go back to a zippo.
That's a good idea, replacing the original Zorro cotton with some rayon from a Zippo. I'm going to have to do that. I am really enjoying the Zorro 912 as my everyday carry as well. So much so that I have two more coming in the mail. I also like the weight and feel of them better than a Zippo. Thank you for commenting.

I'm trying to get the ones I want before next year starts and possible extra tariffs are applied here in the states. I'll be making a video on the copper ones when they get here. Hopefully sometime next month.
I've seen some with crazy deep carved engravings and they are like 20$,plus the only thing that might break is the hinge and they sell hinges too,you just have to diy,been thinking about getting one,it's just weird after so many years of edc zippos
Zorro definitely does have some pretty cool designs available. It's taken me a while to appreciate them after being a Zippo collector for years now as well. These 912 styles are really slick. I'm looking forward to getting the solid copper ones.
Welcome. The more I use the Zorro, the more I'm liking it. Having an actual brass insert as well instead of a brass colored steel insert is a cool bonus. I really like brass, lol.

I have 2 of these , fuel lasts 7 months if it is not used, Zorro has a new lighter out now, same hinge but a slim lighter , Zorro ZL8
