Sorry I didn't explain it very well in the tale apart video. You need to make a puller with 2 holes; 1/4" spaced the same distance as the holes in the end cap. Tap a 3/8" hole a little off center for a threaded push rod so it doesn't interfere with the vane rods. Then take two 1/4" bolts about 2" long for the pullers. Stick the nuts onto a piece of masking tape to hold them while you put them through the center hole in the back cover and screw the puller bolts into them. Thread the push rod all the way down and turn it enough to push the cover out of the cylinder. Look at the take apart video>
Found them on eBay. You'll have to search a little but you should be able to find them. They are pretty much standard size for all air pumps. Just make sure you have all the measurements such as length of vanes; etc.
Use an all thread rod with a center tapped plate that's a little longer and narrower than the hole in the end plate bearing. Snake the plate through the Hole and then thread the rod down until it pushes on the front of the housing. Just keep threading the rod in and it will slowly push the back plate out.
Nice rebuild video. Big question for me is how to take it apart?
What's with the recording of the girl singing over your explaination?
Where is the take apart video?
That is very well explained. Thank you. Big question for me is what tool do I need to get the end cap out?

Do you have a recording of taking it apart? Getting the front hub off without damaging the rest? Thanks
I made a small puller. If you send me your email address i'll send you the clip.
My pump is missing one of he spring bars but otherwise is in decent condition. How can one spring bar?
Hi, how did you remove the end plate.. the circular deal with rolling bearings

Where do I purchase rebuild kit for a Ford Mustang GT pump?
Go to eBay and type large air pump rebuild kit. They list them for Ford and GM.
You left out the disassembly procedure. Can you do one of those

A useful video. I wish you'd show how you took it apart.
I could do without the music soundtrack.
I love how the UA-cam Channel owner is too busy to answer questions. 😂
What’s with the singing that detracts from the validity of the rebuild info .. I came for info not musical entertainment 🤬🤬🤬
loose music and keep video in focus
