Hey there, I have a roll with tac mag, and it does add one to the mag. Adept mag gets it up to 7. Regular mag 6.

Already got 4th times/PI from last season lol. Literally running the gm for materials. I am excited for the new artifact though. I’ll finally have a use for it.
Explosive payload is only 15% increase on body shots, for crits it’s gonna be 15%/precision multiplier so it’s less damage for crits. I’ve been doing a bunch of research and from everything I found with snipers that’s the case.

Extended with back up places you at 7. This allows for 11 shots without swapping generating 4 ammo per clip. With deconstruct, I believe it adds another ~3-5 shots. So you can get up to 14-16 without reloading.
New artifact is gonna be lit.
If you apply a magazine size as the mod slot, it gives you a magazine of 6(it should but I’m not sure) and then 4th times goes off 3 times per mag if you land every precision

adept mag and tactical can reach 7 on the mag i think, still have to get one to test, but if it can it will be the best for 4ttc
I can confirm this, got tacmag, fttc, pi. 7 in the mag with adept mag and juiced fttc procs, frees me up to use some other exotic than still hunt in a week (unless it is witness dps, obv)

What about 4th times and deconstruct seems pretty op
Deconstruct is very situational. It functions similarly to rewind rounds & fourth times where you can shoot longer but the damage will be terrible. You get bonus damage against “vehicles” and constructs but that’s mostly useless. Rewind rounds & fourth times is better but both rolls are terrible for dps when there are other better options. Perfect example is supremacy, yes you could shoot basically forever but for comparisons sake one mag of bait & switch dps = like 2 or 3 mags of rewind & fourth times. And considering the amount of time it takes to get those shots off it’s just a no brainer. The only situation a roll like that is better is if your soloing something and need to manage ammo but even then there’s ways to just make ammo bricks consistently. It’s very niche and by comparison not good at all.
