I did run pheonix dive when I set my build up but found that healing rift was significantly more useful because it would allow me to throw my healing turret to to other side of an arena to heal teammates while still having long term consistent healing for myself and any allies near me. Works really really well on the witness fight since there’s two groups of people on opposite sides of the arena.
You can also do edge of intent for multiple rest x2 healing turrets at the same time. (With speakers sight and touch of flame the healing turret from the edge of intent will be rest x2)
For the Strand build, I also recommend taking Threaded Blast on the seasonal artifact, as that makes Tangles deal more damage in a wider area when detonated with a Strand weapon. I personally use No Hesitation and Pro Memoria, with either Quicksilver Storm or Wish-keeper as my Strand exotic; both of those Pale Heart weapons have Dealer's Choice, which refunds Super energy for every kill made with either weapon, and since you have two Pale Weapons equipped, the rate of energy gain is doubled.
I personally think that the various weapons of sorrow paired with necrotic grip plus suspend build deserves a shout-out. Osteo got nerfed but it's still great for add clear when its poison spreads to everything on the screen that also happens to be suspended.
Fun fact, you can beat basically everything with LFGs with either the Speakers sight build or getaway artist build. Sure you wont be topping dmg charts but you will be consistent in clearing content
@@Cordam. Obviously if your fireteam isnt at risk of dying then doing a more dmg based build is always better but its nice to know the only thing you can die to is wipe mechanics
Outside of Getaway artist, I've been enjoying Spirit of Battle Harmony with Nullify from Salvation's Edge raid. It can be crafted with Firefly and Incandescent. I can get my super in about 90 seconds clearing trash ads with this combo. I use the healing nade for bleak watcher because the healing nade has the shortest cool down time. I can freeze enemies or heal myself in a pinch. I use Helion and a strand weapon with a Slice perk to weaken the enemy while he gets pelted with solar mortars. Cleared normal Devil's Lair in 5 minutes flat with Xenophage as my heavy
Clever builds that don't focus on boss dps like 95% of other UA-cam videos. Great video! I did not think about that Crown of Tempests and Song of Flame interaction.
For those who want to use the getaway artist build if you want to sub out feed the void you can have helion all you need is to use the buried bloodline exotic for devour so you can have 3 buddies and devour as well not as strong as feed the void but it gets the job done and lets you have another buddy to help you out.
It’s repetitive because it’s op. I enjoy challenging myself to do something else. I have a heart of inmost light and stareaters item that I use often. I switch between turrets and feel the void or threadlings. I get the turrets and extra super damage without the buddies. On GMs the arc buddies only help if you’re near the enemies; aggressive play.
I don’t know why people insist on using speaker’s sight with prismatic healing grenade. It was obviously designed with teammate healing in mind, it just makes sense with EoB. Been bringing the SS + NH + EoB wellock build into LFG GMs for a few weeks and the amount of reckless teammates you can bring back from the brink of death in rapid succession always astounds me.
Ability spam is one of the key concepts of prismatic imho, yeah cure and resto x2 is nice, but it’s not that necessary when I have feed the void, weavers call, arcane needle etc, I can have up to 3 or more healing turrets on the field, while simultaneously unraveling, sending forth swarms of threadlings with my class ability, and halving everything’s damage output for my fireteam. I tried to make a full solar copy of my build, but man the drastic change in ability downtime was extremely noticeable, plus I really build-crafting and trying to find new synergies with different exotic gear. Prismatic is all about mix and match and always having abilities up. It’s very hard for me to go back to full Solar subclass lol. No hate, just my in depth opinion 😅
"With this build you can become the ultimate support player.. that you've always wanted to be" Which applies to nobody! lol... I'm totally, 100% not one of those players that's used Lumina and Assembler because I enjoy them way too much. Never. I'm actually excited about using no hesitation 'cause since it's solar I can now actually keep up a restoration buff for myself. Not being able to refresh it with Lumina was probably the worst part of that build
I've been using a build with winters guile and the arc melee, arc melee recharges immediatly when you pop prismatic so you can just slap the enemies and hit everything around you on every melee hit. Perhaps not something for endgame content but very fun.
I don't like auto rifles too much (I do like No Hesitation, tbh), but I just crafted Nullify with enhanced heal clip and chaos reshaped... *chef's kiss*
@@TurboMik3it works with weapons. Sometimes you just dont see it because more than 4 buffs on the left of your screen is too much for bungie. Also I believe you need to reproc it after 6 seconds so you cant perma refresh it (not sure tho).
People don't expect Speaker's Sight to be working WITH Heat Rises: eat your grenade, you get Heat Rises and spawn a turret in your position, even mid-air. And you wanna be mid-air, because Phoenix Dive then still grants you Restoration x2, which gets refreshed from ANY Restoration source, even when it's a Resto x1 source (just as with Karnstein's Armlets: once you do a finisher and get Resto x2, it gets refreshed by any melee kill). Then, Heat Rises works even with Song of Flame, thus you'll make 5-7 healing turrets while being near immortal by default with that super. I honestly prefer this more aggressive healer build, it's weirder but it spares us some time and gives the healer better dps tbh
I really thought about it, and while that is peak, I don't think most people can actually pull that off. The consistency is what won me over on hellion and ToF
@@luckymec oh, definitely. It's a more intricate version which requires a little more effort. I'd say the basic one with the healing auto rifle is for whoever plays Warlock from time to time, while this one with Heat Rises is for Warlock mains that wanna spicy things up.
