Andros is not traumatized by losing a team. As he specifically states with the Flashback that it was him and his best friend Zane. “We were a team.” His trauma comes from his Best friend nearly dying to save him and his guilt from not being able to save his sister. There was obviously supposed to be a full team but until TJ, Cassie, Carlos, and Ashley showed up there wasn’t one. To me Boom comics created a mess in trying to give a solution to a mystery that never was. If there was other team members why were they left behind. Andros couldn’t leave Zane behind. Why only take the morphers of the others. Because they were never in use. KO 35’s team was just Andros and Zane. That’s it.
Though, logically speaking, the Morphers exist, and Rangers are made as teams 99% of the time in universe. So that would lead to the conclusion that at some point they were in use. Maybe that was before Andros came on board, but usually, Rangers stay as full teams because they are stronger that way, so it would be unlikely they previous bearers would hang it up without successors, unless it was a time of peace.

In my opinion, TJ was way better as the blue ranger than he was as the red. Although, this could be due to how Turbo Rangers were limited by their footage and I might be biased as I liked Tommy better as the red rangers, in general. So when TJ took over as Turbo Red, it was like he was trying to fill in someone else's shoes. In Space, he became way more competent and his own character. As for best red, sorry, but my vote goes to Tommy. And not just because he was the red ranger of three different teams. However, I also feel like this gives him an advantage over everyone else (including rangers of other colors). So ignoring that, I'd go with Andros. Oh, PR veteran fan here, although I had retired being a fan since near the start of Dino Fury.

Reminds me of the Sentai series Fivemen. Where the parents sacrifice themselves to save the kids and their robot guardian look after the kids until their adults and become Sentai rangers.
Andros has delayed PTSD. He and his team got screwed over and eventually overrun by hostiles. His planet's government delayed and didn't give his team the proper support. This explains why he's a lone wolf and was so strict at the beginning😥
They were captured & used for the Psycho Rangers, Red Psycho was in the academy but because Andros & Zane became the top students he felt hatred towards them.
I've always been curious about this: Can anyone become a ranger? It appears that becoming a space ranger might be open to anyone, but I'm not convinced it's the same for other ranger teams like Lost Galaxy or Mighty Morphin Rangers.
The Space Rangers were basically the former Turbo Rangers + Andros. TJ was the Blue Space Ranger but he was basically the leader of the team. Andros didn't seem to mind that either. The Galaxy Rangers gained their powers from the swords on Edenoi and they could have only be drawn under the right conditions. That's what I remember anyway. As for MMPR, Kimberly was the only one who was preset since she met Zordon in the past in one 3-part episode.
I'm a BOOM! comic canon fanboy admittedly, but this just shows what their strengths are when it comes to fleshing out the lore. I think the setup of the original team's dynamic perfectly fits with Andros' character, which I think can be said for all of the changes or additions across their canon. They may not always perfectly match the show, but they always feel like they belong in the world in my opinion. Even if officially it's a separate continuity, my own headcanon for the In Space era characters is made up of more comic lore than not, especially for Phantom Ranger
My favourite red ranger overall is Captain Marvelous from Gokaiger, Kairi from Lupin Ranger was also awesome. As for power rangers I would say either Leo from Lost Galaxy or Jayden from Samurai ... yes, Samurai is basicly a copy paste from Shinkenger, but Shinkenger was really awesome.
To be fair, the part where you mention that Andros said he never saw female Rangers before was in the show. It just the Boom comic books was suppose to be the reboot and the different universe of the show, not connected to it. I'm behind of the Boom comics now to be honest.
i want a video about gosei, maybe the true identity of the phantom ranger. but yeah i really loved this video everytime i binged this series i always asked a question like this i should read the comics now. also my favorite ranger is Jack from SPD hes under rated yet so overpowered plus he has a nice haircut

I feel like the title of “best” red ranger is mostly fought between Leo, Wes, and Andros. Between those three it’s pretty hard. But if I could only pic one….its probably Leo and he only BARELY edges out Wes.
What if there wasn’t an original in space team? He held onto the other morphers as Zordon probably hoped that he’d eventually join a team. Maybe he was always a lone wolf and Zane was only a ranger for a short time before he was taken out, but showing that Andros was starting to consider a team.
The biggest problem in space had at the time was it was the first season to differ so much from the source material the Sentai it’s based on Denji Sentai Megaranger cause the sentai was more video game based and our adaptation was space based so it had to a more planet based season then cosmic fury so we never knew if there were any other rangers outside of Zane the morphers could’ve been made but the attack the injured Zane happened before the other 4 rangers were chosen

E-Squad caused my parents to un-divorce
@@BrendanAuraboltshe met Zordon in the past?
It was the last season of the Zordon Era. It was the last season the rangers from the previous season returned.
Carter is my favorite as he was a hero before becoming a Ranger.
Seems like the Space Powers might have come in a bundle considering they have the emblem colors in their chests
I'm a BOOM! comic canon fanboy admittedly, but this just shows what their strengths are when it comes to fleshing out the lore.
That quote is from Zane, not Andros.
that’s why i said before it’s a different universe
They came out a comic last year about Andros and Zane. Not much but kind of cool.
Power rangers Lost Galaxy were more in Space than In Space lmao.
Zhane never saw a female ranger male pink and yellow rangers
Best Red Ranger is Jason 👍
David frank
i like carter
bias opinion
How about Jason Faunt, who expertly brought Wes Collins to life in Time Force
Jason Lee scort
Best Red Ranger for me has always been Carter from Lightspeed Rescue. Always really liked his character
I met the cast of power rangers in space back at an event earlier this year
Favorite red Rangers are Andros, Mack, Jason, Tommy, TJ, Scott and Jack!
In Space was goated. What other team had a crossover with the ninja turtles?
I like all 10 Red Rangers but my top 5 favorites are Jason, Tommy, TJ, Andros, and Leo in that order.
I always thought TJ looked better in Red and Rocky looked better in Blue.
i want a video about gosei, maybe the true identity of the phantom ranger. but yeah i really loved this video everytime i binged this series i always asked a question like this i should read the comics now. also my favorite ranger is Jack from SPD hes under rated yet so overpowered plus he has a nice haircut
Jason long live the old school power Rangers
Pause but Adros was so attractive but now he’s like down bad
Jason is the best red ranger!!
For me the best red ranger is Jason Faunt who played Wes on Time Force.
i have a confession
in fifth grade I sang the power rangers in space opening for an audition for a school talent show so i had an excuse to leave class
They all met the same fate as Gai.
I feel like the title of “best” red ranger is mostly fought between Leo, Wes, and Andros. Between those three it’s pretty hard. But if I could only pic one….its probably Leo and he only BARELY edges out Wes.
Carter Grayson would like to have a word! That's the greatest red ranger ever
Carter Grayson from light speed rescue is my favorite red ranger
You should combine the two intros of power rangers theory and power rangers explained to create …. POWER RANGERS THEORY EXPLAINED ZORD
Casey no debate he was an incredible fighter and a great character, like all of the best rangers do he went on to teach future rangers.
What if there wasn’t an original in space team? He held onto the other morphers as Zordon probably hoped that he’d eventually join a team. Maybe he was always a lone wolf and Zane was only a ranger for a short time before he was taken out, but showing that Andros was starting to consider a team.
I guess to connect the canon of In Space to the comic: Zhane just said it as a pick up line
I’m pretty sure they became the
Psycho rangers
The biggest problem in space had at the time was it was the first season to differ so much from the source material the Sentai it’s based on Denji Sentai Megaranger cause the sentai was more video game based and our adaptation was space based so it had to a more planet based season then cosmic fury so we never knew if there were any other rangers outside of Zane the morphers could’ve been made but the attack the injured Zane happened before the other 4 rangers were chosen
My top 3 red rangers are:
Carter, Wes and Marvelous
