Sentai footage. In Timeranger it was a mecha named Providus that was just made because a giant robot punching ships into a time portal is cool. And it's cheaper to just carry over the fight from the sentai than ship the suits from Japan and make original footage.
You think that's bad? Its Sentai counter part, Providus, was also used in combat only once, but it was in a weird dream the Green Ranger was having. Providus didn't even get an actual fight!
I would like to think of the Brachiozord as the grandpa of the team who still wants to help, and the Zord just humor him by letting him carry them to the battle just to not hurt his feelings

Since this may or not still be relevant, theres something i need to add, actually the PinkRanger SPD Vehicle could had been useful if they used it for judgement in the Original (Dekaranger) That O and X system was used to make instant tribunal across space and youknow, to make long story short, it's used to decide if they kill or not the villains at turn (in Dekaranger), in the SPD series if was useful a few times but far in between, Go check out, if you want ofc.
@@wildranger5 Yes they used the Metallic armor because Master Vile showed up and gave the Tenga's special feed to increase their power. Plus, the monster he created was much stronger and would have completely stolen their energy if not for the armor's useage. I also believe it was also used as a "marketing" tactic to help with sales of the Movie toys. Because the Metallic armor suits resemble the toys they released for the movie. But that's just a guess on my part.

In defense of Delta Runner 5, but weren't there a handful of enemies they fought that were _innocent_ becuase they were fighting against their wills? In the case of SPD, the Judgement Mode is very important as not every 'villain of the week' is doing things for their own twisted needs, but because they just got no other options.
It's hilariously, the best way to determine guilt or innocence since it is outright clairvoyance with technology. and tbh, the DR5's usage is potentially moreso Judge & Jury on the field. Given it seems to be how Due Process works in SPD.
@@chaos4654 ultimately the only gripe remains is it's complete lack of an actual offensive weapon cause in theory the megazord was supposed to be a last resort and originally rangers were supposed to fight with the zords solo. the only reason megazord became the go to was cause they were under an invasion.
@@immapotato1 To be fair, only DR2 and DR3 can technically fight solo. DR1 needs parts from 3 and 4 to make its blade and DR4 just has hi-beams to blind enemies. If anything DR1's the actual useless zord, as without DR 3 and 4 it's got nothing. At least DR5 has the Judgement scanner.
One weapon I remember really ticking me off were the Quazar Launchers from Lost Galaxy. The rangers needed them to fight one monster who had stronger armor...and did barely anything against it. Afterwards, every time they bust them out and fire at a monster, it'd at best tickle.
One I’m kinda surprised you didn’t mention was the dragon zord from ninja storm. It was a exclusive zord for Kam and it was literally just a way to get on lothor’s ship.

Technically the dragon zord doesn’t actually count as a zord it was more of a vehicle for the green ranger that can transform like the crimson ranger’s flighter bike
Interesting thing about the Thunder Slingers is that Zyruanger used them multiple times- it was the editing of MMPR that dropped the ball- they actually used them to defeat ‘Madame Woe’ but American editing changed it to the Power Blaster. The Zyurangers used them along with the ‘Ranger Gun’ many times.
In Abaranger, Bakuryu Brachio didn't like violence. Like At all. He only delivered the other Bakuryu. He only fought in the finale, where all the Dynasaurs went on a final rampage and seemingly *died*
Tor the shuttlezoid was also indestructible. When Serpentera attempted to stomp on it, it caused Zedd's zord to run out of power trying to destory Tor the shuttlezoid. So, it had that going for it.
I'll object to Beast Morphers Fury Mode as being useless. No pun intended, but it was BEAST mode!! It's only drawback is that it corrupted the user, if they can find a workaround it's definitely a very handy power!
Cockpit mode and cockpit exclusive weapons could have been handled a bit better. for instance should have been stated in the show that it was a form of VR interface with the zord and only one person at a time could have been able to use it. Paired with a fast-moving fighting form like ninja storm megazord lightning mode would be ideal
A cool idea I just had is, well... Think of a big arm-mounted claw, kinda like the ones on Fury Mode or _I think_ one of the weapons for the Hyperforce Rangers? But yeah, take that, and then make the claw part be able to launch itself on a cord and basically act as a grappling hook or a badass claw flail thing.
Ever noticed that most of the 6th Rangers are supposed to be more powerful than the Ranger team, but the only time this power is on display is in their debut episode. After that they are beaten easily just like the other Rangers
I'm sure somebody commented on this before I did, but it really is a shame about the thunder slingers: if the original footage didn't have their Sentai name plastered all over it It would have been such an amazing upgrade. If the writers knew better back then they would have created a mode related to that, kind of like how they fit in the flying car from the source material.
i believe for the metallic armor, the stunt doubles that wore the armor for the movie also said they were very hard to move around in, so i believe that was another reason that they changed what it looked like
I don't know why, but I always seem to like the Cockpit Mode in Dino Fury. I guess it's because the Rangers get to do a little more within the cockpit than just standing like some typical Saban-style last stand. The stuff they do in Dino Fury's Zords seems a whole lot more tolerable
They could have made the Armadillo Puck an EMP weapon, pull it open like when combining the weapons, toss it at the monster, and it would generate an electric pulse.
I feel like shogun mode from Samurai was kinda just there. I haven’t watched it in a while so i might not remember correctly, but it was really only used in the zords right before the finisher. It was only used once outside the zords, and even then it wasnt really necessary since it feels like pretty much any other form would work in that situation
I believe there was an article that explained why the metallic armor was incorporated in, and it was tied into a surplus of the movie action figures basically looking the same.
The armadillo puck was actually more of a bumpstock magazine like how Tommy guns have them. It was most likely intended to be a power source, but they only did it, so it looked like a Tommy gun and justify it being from the 2nd group of animal spirits with weapons. Funny enough, they gave it to taylor because the bear brothers didn't have a personal weapon for her to use, but danny, being the nice guy with 2 weapons, just hands it to her, lol Everything else was just bad writing because they didn't know how to include it for further use other than the sparse footage from the original sentai. The way they can "justify" half the time to not use the op stuff they come up with, with their ranger rule of not escalating a fight (which i guess translates to lets not just smoosh the monsters while they're small or obliterate them with the final attack on site). Then theres other stuff like how they got the shark cycles (and even had a backstory that they came from a fossilized shark fin probably a megalodon) used them for a few episodes and we never saw them again (like the previous mmpr bikes with the side cars). Almost all of the motorcycles are useless in power rangers because they can teleport or just dont want to shoot those scenes in them lol. The in show explanation for the metallic armor made sense and it was nice to see extra effects and it was basically a work around to retire the ninja suits since they served the same function, it just came far too late in the series to be anything other than shiny ranger spandex. Karan Ashley clarified that they were supposed to be the movie suits, but since those didn't survive the movie shoot and the movie ranger toys were just metallic thats why we got the metalic armor. You forgot a few other things that never reappeared again and were just useless like Auric the conqueror, the power canon from season 2 was rarely used, the aquitar battle borgs that were instantly replaced by the shogun zords and were just stupidly controled by the alien rangers by miming their fights, the defender wheel in zeo only worked once to finish off an enemy, the megatank in space, the turbo karts, the armored horse in lost galaxy, basically lots more 1 time use items and zords that did nothing enough for a part 2 video

The armadillo puck was more than part of the Jungle blaster. It was also used as the final strike for some Megazord configurations like the Isis Megazord
My weapon would be the super stick: its one big fighting stick that can split into two, those two sticks can also form into nun chucks and they would work the same as a sword
Tor didn’t get used much due to limitations with available footage of the sentai season not using him that much and titanus only made its return in toy form cause the ninja ultra zord and the shogun ultra zord combinations were actually toys they show used

I would say one of the best mentors was RJ from Jungle Fury. Another would be Mentor Ji even though he rarely fought. His symbol power is brown so if he chose to morph, he would be a brown samurai ranger

I actually had an idea for a full TEAM of Rangers for a while (their motif, weapons, zords, even backstory). What if, after Billy went with the alien rangers to Aquatar in Zeo, he helped make another ranger team meant to protect that specific planet (in case the alien rangers needed to help a different planet). He made zords that are made to work best underwater (basing their designs off of Earth’s aquatic life). The main 5 rangers’ animals (and by extension, their zords) are the Shark (red), the Squid (blue), the Crab (orange), the Stingray (yellow), and the Turtle (green). There would also be the 6th ranger (starting as an evil gray ranger before turning good and becoming the silver ranger), whose has 2 animal zord (a whale and an eel). His main motif is a whale, though. Their special weapons are as follows: -the red ranger gets a serrated sword (obviously) -the blue ranger gets a whip that can lock-up into a sword (kinda like Zyuohger’s Eagle Sword) -the orange ranger gets these sorta boxing gloves that open into claws -the yellow ranger gets a laser-shooting crossbow that looks like a stingray -the green ranger gets a shield with a sharp edge (obviously) -the gray/silver ranger gets dual-wielding swords (one giant like a buster sword for strong attacks and one that’s more like a dagger for quick attacks).

In defense of the Bracchio zord it carried a LOT of zords so it being slow later in the show made since, but early to 3 or 5 extra zords is where it would of made since for team to ask Tommy if there was a zord or something to help transport the other zords. But ya it was pretty useless for a while
My weapon idea: The standard sidearms for my OC ranger team I call them the Phantom Reapers Their modeled after the Japanese weapon called the Kusarigama; it’s a miniature sickle weopon attached to a long chain. The chains allow them to be used for longer ranged attack as well as use them for grappling hook. They can also insert their Phantom Stones in the blades to perform charged elemental attacks

I always wondered why in mmpr season 2 why they didn't connect the green ranger's powers to Tor to act as his Thunderzord. A dragon/godzilla robot to a turtle is a bit of a drop. But we would be able to maybe have all 7 mmpr rangers together at once.

That aside the Green Ranger was popular and connecting his power to Tor and giving his power fully to say Jason , "Rocky still getting the red spot here." Would allow us to have 7 rangers all at once. We would probably see more original footage of the green ranger to fill in space.
Ironically the Delta Runner 5 had some use. One time in the Megazord, the Judgement forced the team to stop attacking the obviously juilty monster who turned out to not be juilry and even a good guy that just looks evil.
In Dekaranger they just killed the bad guys. The only reason they brought them in alive in SPD is because of copaganda. Because cops killing illegal aliens with ridiculous firepower wouldn't look good for Disney.
There WAS one time where SPD faught a monster in the Megazord that wasn't guilty. He was still a criminal, but he wasn't the one that sliced up a car using pressurized water.
Another reason I hate SPD compared to Dekaranger. In Dekaranger it wasn't "Guilty or Innocent" it was "Death sentence or arrest". Also for the Metallic Armor, pretty sure they just did that because the toys released for the movie (the main figures available during season 3) were chromed versions of the regular figures. So they actually looked more like the metallic armor than they did the movie suits.

Actually the Dino charge cockpit mode (Dino drive) was used to make the megazord more powerful to fight baddies before they had their Dino supercharge mode, just like the soul bird was for wild force and the armadillo pocket is useless and the pink ranger’s 5 runner stops vehicle so it does have a use unlike the yellow ranger’s 4 runner because that did nothing but provide the bottom part on their sword
The carrier zord from Turbo was pretty much useless, aside from carrying the Rescue Zords and giving up its arms for a pair of massive cannons, it wasn't really used
In SPD, I do recall one time the giant monster they were fighting turned out to be innocent of the crimes they accused him of. Judgment mode is how they capture their opponents and in that season if it wasn't a giant robot then they were supposed to take them alive.
My weapon would be a pair of Katar daggers that have a dragon or Phoenix motif. Call them Blaze Blades. But the have a trigger inside which splits the Blades in two to make a Claw mode.

Great video Este, I had seen a few of your videos in my feed and decided to check out this video, honestly the Armadillo Puck is pretty useless, I think it's supposed to be an ammunition magazine, honestly it's no worse than the Dragon Dagger, it looks cool but if it was used in actual combat I'm pretty sure the trumpet buttons would make an uncomfortable grip. I'll bet that the Armadillo Puck was really cool in early stages of development but Disney/Saban ran out of time to properly utilize it. besides we didn't get to see Ryan as the Silver Ranger in Lightspeed Rescue because Gogo Five only had five Rangers.
For spd there was that one episode where they thought the Guy was guilty but he was actually innocent so just make sure they have the right guy which is useful
I still think the Bracho Zord could be cooler if Brachio Zord has the Megazord Mode. The toy version of Brachio Zord's head can be transformed into a mechanical left arm for Thundersaurus Megazord. But sadly, this formation was never used in the show. Same thing with Mighty Mammoth from Ninja Storm. I prefer Mighty Mammoth to have Megazord mode and not just the huge robotic revolver mammoth.
I don’t care what anyone says, the finishing move of Tor/Ultrszords just straight up crushing the bad guy like an anvil from a Looney Tunes cartoon will always be one of my all time favorites… simply because of how ridiculous it is.
How about the Bullzooka from Samurai? They bad guys decided to try out guns so mentor G got on a motorcycle and delivered a gun that he apparently just had lying around to Jaden so he could shoot back. Kinda really dumb. the bad guys never used guns again so...
Delta Runner 5 is one of those things that make more sense in Sentai. Judgment Time in Dekaranger wasn't a question of guilt, it was a request for authorization of lethal force via death penalty. Sometimes the Alienizer showed up already in the robot, so there was no prior chance for judgment. Also, Pat Signer would clear paths and help guide civilians out of high risk zones, which is where the signage came in handy, it was just not a battle vehicle unless combined into Dekaranger Robo. Brachio is just a carrier in both sentai and PR, but since the bakuryu were sentient and had personalities (rather than combat machines) him not being a combatant is more justified. He does a nice thing in dropping old toku quotes when arriving into the scene, though.
You should do a video on those one time only megazord formations. Like the Valkasaurus Megazord from Dino Thunder or that unicorn that combines with Nick to make a centaur in Mystic Force.
How about the "Power Sword (?)". Think that what it was called. In the early episodes of (what I call) The Zedd Arc Lord Zedd creates a ram monster who hypnotizes Tommy. To keep Tommy power up in the fight Zordon give permission for Tommy to use this sword. Only for the rangers to realize that Tommy is mind controlled to retrieve the sword for the ram. I don't fully remember if the ranger got the sword back or it was destroyed (I think they got it back), But it was never seen or mentioned EVER AGIAN. Just like the Zeo Crystal.
A lot of the stupider power ups merely exist because of problems adapting the sentai footage. The Samurai and Ninja steel cockpits are basically American Kirby versions of the sentai. Especially Ninja Steel since Shurikenjin's cockpit is basically a parade float. In SPD they just killed the aliens after judging them. The brachio zord and all of the other zords talked in Abaranger so it was a relevant character that they just couldn't remove. Same for the buddyroids. It was cheaper just to ignore them than to make new fight footage. Also in Abaranger the black ranger Asuka was a ranger since day one so Brachio was a package deal with the other three zords. Fury mode never existed in Go-Busters so between the costs of making new footage and the team mode making it irrelevant. It was tossed out. The jungle blaster never existed in Gaoranger. It was made to promote the toy. That's why the individual modes were never used. And the glitter armor was there just to make Master Vile look badass. And since they were going to use the Kakuranger costumes soon. Why bother spending money when you can just use glitter.
The Mega Ninja Rover Antimaterial Rifle. It would only be used in one episode. One shots the boss monster from off screen and it becomes a scene from Vietnam. Putty men making pongie sticks and a flying zord dropping ranger dino chemical weapons.
Hey ! The pink Spd Zord was a Usable Arm ! Able to hold and use any of its equipment, and frankly Light Speed rescue Silver was more useless, to the literal point that even the bad guys kept forgetting about him and referring to the Rangers as a team of ONLY 5...
ESquad, After watching your video from beginning to end, I gotta met you do make a good point, remember, this show does follow a monster of the weak formula so whatever mcguffin organic they usually have to deal with to monster it kind of fits with the tone of the show and I know it could be. We are and often confusing at times but remember, it is a kid. Sometimes kid logic doesn't make Sense anyway I stop watching Power Rangers after a Dino super charge. I figured the show was gonna keep doing its thing. And in a way, I was right, so now it's it.
Delta Runner 5 HAS to have some use, at least compared to Mashin Jetter, since it forms an arm; also, yeah the Cheetah Beast Blaster, I'm definitely questioning its usefulness since, heck, the one time that Cruise piloted the Racer Zord alone, he didn't even need it (or could use it) to do the finisher

Technically the dragon zord doesn’t actually count as a zord it was more of a vehicle for the green ranger that can transform like the crimson ranger’s flighter bike
Interesting thing about the Thunder Slingers is that Zyruanger used them multiple times- it was the editing of MMPR that dropped the ball- they actually used them to defeat ‘Madame Woe’ but American editing changed it to the Power Blaster. The Zyurangers used them along with the ‘Ranger Gun’ many times.
Head canon the thunder slingers were modified into the normal blasters by billy .
It runs in my mind the Zyu Rangers also used them to damage giant monsters when the zords where not avaliable.

Tor the shuttlezoid was also indestructible. When Serpentera attempted to stomp on it, it caused Zedd's zord to run out of power trying to destory Tor the shuttlezoid. So, it had that going for it.
I'll object to Beast Morphers Fury Mode as being useless. No pun intended, but it was BEAST mode!! It's only drawback is that it corrupted the user, if they can find a workaround it's definitely a very handy power!
The workaround I would have is the beast x mode the rangers get in season 2 that could workaround the corruption.
It was clearly just a plot driven mode but hey it was cool while it lasted.
Cockpit mode and cockpit exclusive weapons could have been handled a bit better. for instance should have been stated in the show that it was a form of VR interface with the zord and only one person at a time could have been able to use it. Paired with a fast-moving fighting form like ninja storm megazord lightning mode would be ideal
A cool idea I just had is, well...
Think of a big arm-mounted claw, kinda like the ones on Fury Mode or _I think_ one of the weapons for the Hyperforce Rangers? But yeah, take that, and then make the claw part be able to launch itself on a cord and basically act as a grappling hook or a badass claw flail thing.

I'm sure somebody commented on this before I did, but it really is a shame about the thunder slingers: if the original footage didn't have their Sentai name plastered all over it It would have been such an amazing upgrade.
If the writers knew better back then they would have created a mode related to that, kind of like how they fit in the flying car from the source material.
i believe for the metallic armor, the stunt doubles that wore the armor for the movie also said they were very hard to move around in, so i believe that was another reason that they changed what it looked like

I don't know why, but I always seem to like the Cockpit Mode in Dino Fury. I guess it's because the Rangers get to do a little more within the cockpit than just standing like some typical Saban-style last stand. The stuff they do in Dino Fury's Zords seems a whole lot more tolerable
They could have made the Armadillo Puck an EMP weapon, pull it open like when combining the weapons, toss it at the monster, and it would generate an electric pulse.

I feel like shogun mode from Samurai was kinda just there. I haven’t watched it in a while so i might not remember correctly, but it was really only used in the zords right before the finisher. It was only used once outside the zords, and even then it wasnt really necessary since it feels like pretty much any other form would work in that situation

I believe there was an article that explained why the metallic armor was incorporated in, and it was tied into a surplus of the movie action figures basically looking the same.

The armadillo puck was actually more of a bumpstock magazine like how Tommy guns have them. It was most likely intended to be a power source, but they only did it, so it looked like a Tommy gun and justify it being from the 2nd group of animal spirits with weapons. Funny enough, they gave it to taylor because the bear brothers didn't have a personal weapon for her to use, but danny, being the nice guy with 2 weapons, just hands it to her, lol Everything else was just bad writing because they didn't know how to include it for further use other than the sparse footage from the original sentai. The way they can "justify" half the time to not use the op stuff they come up with, with their ranger rule of not escalating a fight (which i guess translates to lets not just smoosh the monsters while they're small or obliterate them with the final attack on site). Then theres other stuff like how they got the shark cycles (and even had a backstory that they came from a fossilized shark fin probably a megalodon) used them for a few episodes and we never saw them again (like the previous mmpr bikes with the side cars). Almost all of the motorcycles are useless in power rangers because they can teleport or just dont want to shoot those scenes in them lol. The in show explanation for the metallic armor made sense and it was nice to see extra effects and it was basically a work around to retire the ninja suits since they served the same function, it just came far too late in the series to be anything other than shiny ranger spandex. Karan Ashley clarified that they were supposed to be the movie suits, but since those didn't survive the movie shoot and the movie ranger toys were just metallic thats why we got the metalic armor. You forgot a few other things that never reappeared again and were just useless like Auric the conqueror, the power canon from season 2 was rarely used, the aquitar battle borgs that were instantly replaced by the shogun zords and were just stupidly controled by the alien rangers by miming their fights, the defender wheel in zeo only worked once to finish off an enemy, the megatank in space, the turbo karts, the armored horse in lost galaxy, basically lots more 1 time use items and zords that did nothing enough for a part 2 video

The armadillo puck was more than part of the Jungle blaster. It was also used as the final strike for some Megazord configurations like the Isis Megazord

I would say one of the best mentors was RJ from Jungle Fury. Another would be Mentor Ji even though he rarely fought. His symbol power is brown so if he chose to morph, he would be a brown samurai ranger

I actually had an idea for a full TEAM of Rangers for a while (their motif, weapons, zords, even backstory).
What if, after Billy went with the alien rangers to Aquatar in Zeo, he helped make another ranger team meant to protect that specific planet (in case the alien rangers needed to help a different planet).
He made zords that are made to work best underwater (basing their designs off of Earth’s aquatic life). The main 5 rangers’ animals (and by extension, their zords) are the Shark (red), the Squid (blue), the Crab (orange), the Stingray (yellow), and the Turtle (green).
There would also be the 6th ranger (starting as an evil gray ranger before turning good and becoming the silver ranger), whose has 2 animal zord (a whale and an eel). His main motif is a whale, though.
Their special weapons are as follows:
-the red ranger gets a serrated sword (obviously)
-the blue ranger gets a whip that can lock-up into a sword (kinda like Zyuohger’s Eagle Sword)
-the orange ranger gets these sorta boxing gloves that open into claws
-the yellow ranger gets a laser-shooting crossbow that looks like a stingray
-the green ranger gets a shield with a sharp edge (obviously)
-the gray/silver ranger gets dual-wielding swords (one giant like a buster sword for strong attacks and one that’s more like a dagger for quick attacks).

In defense of the Bracchio zord it carried a LOT of zords so it being slow later in the show made since, but early to 3 or 5 extra zords is where it would of made since for team to ask Tommy if there was a zord or something to help transport the other zords. But ya it was pretty useless for a while

Their modeled after the Japanese weapon called the Kusarigama; it’s a miniature sickle weopon attached to a long chain. The chains allow them to be used for longer ranged attack as well as use them for grappling hook. They can also insert their Phantom Stones in the blades to perform charged elemental attacks

A dragon/godzilla robot to a turtle is a bit of a drop. But we would be able to maybe have all 7 mmpr rangers together at once.

One time in the Megazord, the Judgement forced the team to stop attacking the obviously juilty monster who turned out to not be juilry and even a good guy that just looks evil.
In Dekaranger they just killed the bad guys. The only reason they brought them in alive in SPD is because of copaganda. Because cops killing illegal aliens with ridiculous firepower wouldn't look good for Disney.

There WAS one time where SPD faught a monster in the Megazord that wasn't guilty. He was still a criminal, but he wasn't the one that sliced up a car using pressurized water.

Another reason I hate SPD compared to Dekaranger. In Dekaranger it wasn't "Guilty or Innocent" it was "Death sentence or arrest".
Also for the Metallic Armor, pretty sure they just did that because the toys released for the movie (the main figures available during season 3) were chromed versions of the regular figures. So they actually looked more like the metallic armor than they did the movie suits.

Actually the Dino charge cockpit mode (Dino drive) was used to make the megazord more powerful to fight baddies before they had their Dino supercharge mode, just like the soul bird was for wild force and the armadillo pocket is useless and the pink ranger’s 5 runner stops vehicle so it does have a use unlike the yellow ranger’s 4 runner because that did nothing but provide the bottom part on their sword
The carrier zord from Turbo was pretty much useless, aside from carrying the Rescue Zords and giving up its arms for a pair of massive cannons, it wasn't really used

In SPD, I do recall one time the giant monster they were fighting turned out to be innocent of the crimes they accused him of. Judgment mode is how they capture their opponents and in that season if it wasn't a giant robot then they were supposed to take them alive.

My weapon would be a pair of Katar daggers that have a dragon or Phoenix motif.
Call them Blaze Blades. But the have a trigger inside which splits the Blades in two to make a Claw mode.
Mega fury saver actually makes sense it gives the megastore systems a primary operator to focus on in case the rangers are out of sync when piloting

Great video Este, I had seen a few of your videos in my feed and decided to check out this video, honestly the Armadillo Puck is pretty useless, I think it's supposed to be an ammunition magazine, honestly it's no worse than the Dragon Dagger, it looks cool but if it was used in actual combat I'm pretty sure the trumpet buttons would make an uncomfortable grip. I'll bet that the Armadillo Puck was really cool in early stages of development but Disney/Saban ran out of time to properly utilize it. besides we didn't get to see Ryan as the Silver Ranger in Lightspeed Rescue because Gogo Five only had five Rangers.

I still think the Bracho Zord could be cooler if Brachio Zord has the Megazord Mode. The toy version of Brachio Zord's head can be transformed into a mechanical left arm for Thundersaurus Megazord. But sadly, this formation was never used in the show.
Same thing with Mighty Mammoth from Ninja Storm. I prefer Mighty Mammoth to have Megazord mode and not just the huge robotic revolver mammoth.

How about the Bullzooka from Samurai? They bad guys decided to try out guns so mentor G got on a motorcycle and delivered a gun that he apparently just had lying around to Jaden so he could shoot back. Kinda really dumb. the bad guys never used guns again so...
I owned the Silver Ranger battle dune buggy thing and it was awesome. I also think it’s one with the hoverboard. A peak toy for sure.
Delta Runner 5 is one of those things that make more sense in Sentai. Judgment Time in Dekaranger wasn't a question of guilt, it was a request for authorization of lethal force via death penalty. Sometimes the Alienizer showed up already in the robot, so there was no prior chance for judgment. Also, Pat Signer would clear paths and help guide civilians out of high risk zones, which is where the signage came in handy, it was just not a battle vehicle unless combined into Dekaranger Robo.
Brachio is just a carrier in both sentai and PR, but since the bakuryu were sentient and had personalities (rather than combat machines) him not being a combatant is more justified. He does a nice thing in dropping old toku quotes when arriving into the scene, though.

You should do a video on those one time only megazord formations. Like the Valkasaurus Megazord from Dino Thunder or that unicorn that combines with Nick to make a centaur in Mystic Force.
How about the "Power Sword (?)". Think that what it was called. In the early episodes of (what I call) The Zedd Arc Lord Zedd creates a ram monster who hypnotizes Tommy. To keep Tommy power up in the fight Zordon give permission for Tommy to use this sword. Only for the rangers to realize that Tommy is mind controlled to retrieve the sword for the ram. I don't fully remember if the ranger got the sword back or it was destroyed (I think they got it back), But it was never seen or mentioned EVER AGIAN. Just like the Zeo Crystal.
Hey the zords coming out of the brachiozord was awesome as a kid.
A lot of the stupider power ups merely exist because of problems adapting the sentai footage. The Samurai and Ninja steel cockpits are basically American Kirby versions of the sentai. Especially Ninja Steel since Shurikenjin's cockpit is basically a parade float. In SPD they just killed the aliens after judging them. The brachio zord and all of the other zords talked in Abaranger so it was a relevant character that they just couldn't remove. Same for the buddyroids. It was cheaper just to ignore them than to make new fight footage. Also in Abaranger the black ranger Asuka was a ranger since day one so Brachio was a package deal with the other three zords. Fury mode never existed in Go-Busters so between the costs of making new footage and the team mode making it irrelevant. It was tossed out. The jungle blaster never existed in Gaoranger. It was made to promote the toy. That's why the individual modes were never used. And the glitter armor was there just to make Master Vile look badass. And since they were going to use the Kakuranger costumes soon. Why bother spending money when you can just use glitter.
They didn't kill the aliens in SPD. They were locked in containment cards. They never died

ESquad, After watching your video from beginning to end, I gotta met you do make a good point, remember, this show does follow a monster of the weak formula so whatever mcguffin organic they usually have to deal with to monster it kind of fits with the tone of the show and I know it could be. We are and often confusing at times but remember, it is a kid. Sometimes kid logic doesn't make Sense anyway I stop watching Power Rangers after a Dino super charge. I figured the show was gonna keep doing its thing. And in a way, I was right, so now it's it.
Delta Runner 5 HAS to have some use, at least compared to Mashin Jetter, since it forms an arm; also, yeah the Cheetah Beast Blaster, I'm definitely questioning its usefulness since, heck, the one time that Cruise piloted the Racer Zord alone, he didn't even need it (or could use it) to do the finisher
