I wish they used that as a title. Would've been an effective marketing strategy.
I think if you guys put a cutscene library in game it would be sick, especially for new players that have no idea what's going on.
Especially if it were a physical library. Would be nice to have this sorta space between the Bazar and the Courtyard.

It shouldve been done as soon as they sunsetted content. They want to make the game more accessible for new players by making it free but none of them can know whats going on without going to byf lmao

@@stevenbyrd6123 genuinely believe its less accessible to new players than before. I struggle to recommend anyone to try the f2p version because its such an easy way to steer people off

That scene; when Savathun was talking to traveler makes everything we know now much sweeter. the fact she tried to save the traveler two times from the darkness, and tricked it. She’s the one.
This should be in-game when you hover over the past seasons and expansions

It’s an MP4 file so it’s not like it would take up anywhere near as much space as if the content was actually in the game for sunsetted stuff. Makes perfect sense to do.
Honestly, just do something like this along with one of those inkblot cuts cents that discuss the events of a season.
It could also use an actual codex that updates when events happen rather than requiring players to piece it together.

The story for Witch Queen was so good Bungie themselves uploaded all the cutscenes for it.

I loved this story. Good twists, high stakes, a villain with an understandable motive. Fun mission structure, great difficulty on legendary. We can only hope that the Final Shape lives up to this. Its a hell of a task.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
You should have done this cutscenes archives a long time ago. You should do it for Beyond Light and Shadowkeep. This is welcome!

The reason I now play Destiny 2 - my first ever FPS game to boot - is because I watched a “movie cutscene compilation” of the Witch Queen and fell in love with the lore and characters! Awesome game so far.

Bungie, please just add main expansion story quests as repeatable pickups from the tower kiosk. Being able to replay the individual story missions is great, but the only cutscene that plays is the final one when you kill Savathun. Lightfall's individual missions did at least include the vast majority of cutscenes which is nice, but there's still a lot of the in-between moments that I'd like to be able to replay at will.
Love this!! Definitely do this more often. OR….or…..hear me out. Create a series for lore outside the man game storyline. Would be so dope!
Doing this for red war and forsaken now that they're both vaulted would give all the new light some pretty good information on what they missed out on.

It's interesting hearing the Witness speak about tricking the Hive at a point in the story before we knew the Witness as we do now. Obviously didn't pick up on it much at the time.

It will be nice for the nez destiny story that ghost can have the ability to transform in to a image of the enemy and help u around too for a limited time or order your ship to show up at your location above up and start shootings your enemies with rockets ect

Combed the comments for this because I remember feeling the same thing during my story playthrough. WTF WAS THAAAAAAAAAT?
17:04 I wonder why the statues are not broken here while in the raid it is broken. Im guessing these are his disciples( 10 of them possibly?) and they didn't want to show us the ones we've yet to fight. Cuz I see a hive(could be Xevu) and Calus/cabal for sure. The others that are harder to notice must be a fallen, skorn, taken, maybe 1st statue is a human or awoken(still think the queen could still be a bady at the end or it'll be clovis himself)?, nez, rulk, and 2 other disciples we don't know of yet?
I wish season 17 to Lightfall and beyond had this good writing.
I got emotional when Savathûn died💔 7:00. Why?!!, one of greatest character in Destiny
It's not permanent she still has her ghost that can revive her.
Maybe add this as feature in-game after u beat the campaign story. So it can play in consecutive with out Guardian.

I beat the entire Witch Queen campaign on a free play weekend, took 7 hours
