Don’t freak out Hyram!!! 244, aka the ‘theatrical’ product she’s using ISNT alcohol!!! We use it all the time in special effects makeup and it is very oily. Other than remover, lots of people like to mix it in with cream or pot eyeliners to make them smoother to apply. So it’s ok, it is NOT alcohol or acetone!
Im so glad I found this comment. He must have not researched too hard because right on the product webpage there is an answer under the questions tab direct from the Alcone company saying, “A: This fluid is Cyclopentasiloxane. It's used mainly as a moisture delivering component in conditioners and moisturizers, but it's intensely emollient property quickly dissolves makeup very efficiently.”

Similarly to how you call an actor's character in ! movie by the character name when talking about the film and the actor by their personal name outside of the film. Some people extend she her pronouns to when hes outside of drag. Some people use he while Trixie is in drag. It's not really that big of a deal though

Starting at 12 is fine😊 you can never be to early
you should be doing skin care at any age, or at least when you start hitting puberty or right before you hit puberty. 12 is not too young at all, in fact that's the ideal age most kids start a skin care routine.
@Camillaaa Brigette 12 isnt too young.start as early as possible.i started skincare at 10 and have always had mostly clear skin apart from the occasional hormonal breakout or a few times when i forget to do it.

Hey Hyram, a note from Alcone company about their 244 fluid: "A: This fluid is Cyclopentasiloxane. It's used mainly as a moisture delivering component in conditioners and moisturizers, but it's intensely emollient property quickly dissolves makeup very efficiently."
Apparently that's the only thing in it.
I think the Paula's Choice ingredient dictionary wasn't negative about it... but I also don't remember it having much about 'skin' in the description.
There are also a few variant 244 formulations out there from what I can tell, but yeah, they are all just cyclic silicones that are very similar to cyclopentasiloxanes, if not actually cyclopentasiloxanes. Low molecular weight cyclic silicones are flammable all by themselves in high concentrations.
Can someone sit down and teach Hyram what an SDS is and how to read one? It makes it much easier to assess and understand proprietary products.
@Hailey Xo cyclopentasiloxane is only "bad" for your hair if a) your hair disagrees with it as an ingredient, or b) you've bought into the "clean" hype and have a phobia of things that aren't unpurified plant mush. ;) It's a very lightweight silicone that washes out readily, and for most people it very effectively serves the same purpose an oil did back in our grandmothers' days by giving hair strands a little lubrication and slip without making the hair feel damp or weighed down.
@Hailey Xo I think I replied to your earlier comment at the same time you were replying to me, so I only just noticed it. The slightly shorter version of all that is that when I look it up, I'm also finding out that 244 is either cyclopentasiloxane or something so similar it makes basically no difference, that cyclopentasiloxane is flammable all by itself, and that you can find at the very least the "important" parts of ingredient lists for the types of products that aren't required to list them by looking up the product safety information (SDS = safety data sheets), which those products are required to have.
If anyone is wondering the chemical in the 244 cleaning fluid is Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane.
