I remember watching this Nikki video when it first came out and I was seriously struggling with my skin. I felt so beyond disheartened and defeated when I realised I couldn’t afford any of the products, and thought my skin was absolutely never going to be good. Hyram has completely changed this for me and my skin is absolutely the best it’s ever been thanks to him. So thank you Hyram for helping out someone who has struggled with cystic acne for literally 15 years!

Just because something is difficult doesn't make it child abuse. It's important to learn to persevere through challenges. There's lots of things in life that benefit us that cause stress. Don't give up. I say this as a married mom long done with school, and I (very unfortunately) grew up with a poor work ethic. It's much harder to learn the skill of perseverance after a lifetime of bad habits (entitlement, desiring ease of comfort, procrastination, etc.), so don't let those take root. I'm having to learn responsibility in the thick of some significant stressors (marriage, parenting, paying down debt, etc.), and it's definitely more challenging this way. Learn to persevere and not be afraid of hard work... Lay that foundation now and you'll be more prepared for whatever your future holds. Just wanted to encourage you. 😊

I started skincare right before I found hyram(around 11/12) and I am so glad Bc I rarely breakout(mostly whenever I forget a cleanser when traveling/going anywhere not at my house which just happened so I’m sad)

A good way to find ingredients is looking to "buy" the product online and zooming in on the photo. Most websites have photos of front/back or let you rotate. From there, just zoom in on the ingredients list :)
I don’t see an issue with using only products from one brand. I’ve heard lots of derms say that this can be smart as you know that these products were formulated to work together and chances of reactions are lessened.
That wasn’t the problem, it was just that the ingredients of those products where no where online so he couldn’t give an opinion and nicki has an affiliation with them even though she said the video wasn’t sponsored.

Zach Krane ohh yea sorry I took that out of context I didn’t realize you meant something he said I thought you where talking about the events that took place in the video not in general. I totally agree I like to use one brand, it feels consistent and they’re made to work with each other.
While that is true just because they are formulated to work together that doesn't mean they will work well together on YOUR skin. This is why it's advised against using an entire brand or product line because one brand may not produce a moisturiser that your skin needs while another will.

Never knew double cleaning was a “must”. I’ve always done it, because I hated the oily feeling a makeup remover left behind.
Kelsey Pierce It isn’t! Oils and balms can be used as a single cleansing step; however, this can depend on the directions of the product you are using. You don’t NEED to double cleanse, and it isn’t an appropriate option for everyone’s skin type.

He knows his stuff and I’ve followed all of his advice on skin care! I just have one little tiny flaw about the Micellar water cleanser.
I researched that Micellar waters can be bad news for people with congested skin that's prone to breakouts. This is because the ingredients used in micellar waters leave a surface residue on the skin which can act like a film, blocking pores and oil disrupting oil production.
Please don’t kill me in the comments but it’s true 🤷🏻♀️
I find the micellar water is much ntter on dry skin because it can cause breakouts for certain people just keep you skin type in mind
Miceller water is so great at removing dirt and makeup! It’s definitely important to cleanse and tone after using micellar water.
Nobody noticed her face becoming more red with every product she applies?
It might be irritation/allergies or it could be just her skin is touch sensitive. When I wash my face and do my routine, it also gets red but calms down within 15 mins. My skin all over my body gets very red to firm touches and stuff like that. It could be that.

We're unsure of the exact cause however we know that abnormalities in the blood vessels of the face cause the flushing, persistent redness, pus filled pimples, and visible blood vessels. Main symptoms are facial redness with small, red, pus-filled bumps and small visible blood vessels. Other characteristics are a larger nose and possible eye problems.

The most part of cosmetic products are actually emulsions. Moisturisers, conditioners, cleansers and detergents, sunscreens are all usually emulsions (talking about food: mayo is an emulsion).
Whether you should use an oil before or after moisturizer, depends on what’s in your moisturizer, and what’s in your “oil”.
I use all water based makeup so any cleanser works for my skin. I use the neutrogena milky cleanser (pink bottle) and it works really great! I recommend

I’m pretty sure in the USA we have laws about this too. But I wouldn’t trust the government to enforce every little aspect of it. Which is why we all must educate ourselves and use brands that prove they are trustworthy.

HONESTLY!!! So many UA-camrs are so tone def to the majority of the middle/lower class budgets but not Hyram ❤
If you need good products that don't break the bank, there's The Ordinary, The Inkey List, and Revolution Skincare. I use products from all three lines and I love them. I think the most expensive item I've gotten so far was maybe $12 and it was a trio of face sprays. He's so right that it doesn't have to be expensive to be effective.
Even if I can afford expensive products I would rather wash my face with wipes than spend all the money lol

I have fought with so many clients, and even some licensed professionals, and NO ONE wants to believe me until i get them on my table and physically show them all of the oil I've pulled from their faces. Its RIDICULOUS.

Most people are tired at the end of the day, and usually if someone is wearing makeup they've been out doing something, whether that's work or a special event. So it's pretty easy to come home and say "eh, I'm too tired to take my makeup off" even though it's bad for you

The toner seemed to take it off. I am looking for the perfect beauty bar that contains either olive oil or goats milk with honey and oats. No fragrance. It's possible to make it yourself. Ready made Melt and pour soaps exist, so no need to mess around with lye.
@@arxsyn there is lye in all soaps. Melt and pour soaps are usuallty low quality. You can find an olive oil goat milk cold process soap with oats on the internet.
red bear yes l know. I'm referring to pre made melt n pour soap with no additives like colourants and fragrance. Therefore all you have to do is heat it and add additional ingredients to make your own custom soap without messing with harsh, messy chemicals. Thanks for the heads up though. The stuff I've been eyeing at Michael's... At nearly $20 per package l thought they'd be decent....

red bear well keep in mind it's for multiple bars of soap l reckon. and there's always a price on convenience. I think the ingredients are good at least that is hopefully reflected in the price.
But yeah this is the equivalent of "add an egg" boxed cake mix. Convenient. also likely contains preservatives and other chemicals to keep it shelf stable.
PS l actually have bought a $20 bar soap one time in my life because it was from an independent seller and it had a great human story. It was a huge block of pure Castille soap made by Syrian refugees who fled to France where they made that batch! Aleppo is/was famous for this soap. And I'm saddened about what these people went thru
