My mum has worn this for years I remember all the bottles that used to house this beautiful fragrance I used to steal it off her and now I wear it my self I absolutely love this fragrance it smells clean and cozy and classy just stunning I tried Chanel no5 and I can’t wear it plus I don’t think they smell similar at all thank you for a lovely review and the history behind this classic fragrance ❤

You can wear any fragrance you like anywhere you like if you love it … I love old lady Arpege and Chanel no 5 as much as I love Bacarat rouge 540 and am never without them along with my niche set
Well, some fragrances just stink in the heat and are actually made for cold weather. Some just don't develop right if it's cold. It also depends on your PH. There are, of course, versatile fragrances that can be used every day . Now, if you don't care, sure, nothing is stopping you to wear what ever you want and wherever you want . I still have Arpege pour Homme (discontinued) and I wish I could get Avant Garde again (also discontinued). Lanvin doesn't get enough love. Good review by the way.❤️
I have loved Arpege for decades. It was interesting to hear you compare it to Chanel No. 19, which is so green and has a lot of galbanum, which gives it a bitter odour that I can't abide on my skin. Do you know if Arpege comes in EDT? The power of it might be tamed a bit in EDT.
Thanks for watching, it is similar to the 19, however more floral..it also depends on your Ph...also all the fragrances created after 2019 are for the most part reformulated and not as strong and long lasting as they used to be....unfortunately..there is Eclat d'Arpege, a nice liliac scent however it doesn't last on me more than 1 hour..not sure if there is a e.d.t...

I had the formula in black bottle, years ago, much prefer in clear bottle, with gold, top.
Great review, I’m going to buy some more. I always go fully vintage when buying Arpege.I always get it in the clear spray bottle with gold, top.

Yes, in vintage formula, they make it in Eau de lanvin, which is probably more of a Edt, also, in splash form.
