    For my money, I think Linda is one of the greatest rock vocalists ever. It's just too bad her band didn't get more attention than it did. Her vocals were incredible.

      She too often blew her voice out while performing, even in 93. Amazing voice. Insanely powerful. A bit too powerful to control even. It's why she carried into writing songs for 100s of artists. Literally 100s.

    Great song! Linda Perry was married to Sara Gilbert, who played on the sitcom Roseanne. Check out Alanis Morissette, “You Ought to Know”, about her break up with a TV sitcom actor. Also the 2010 performance by PINK, “Glitter in the Air”. That video is legendary. Another great female singer is Melissa Ethridge, “I’m the Only One”. Great video!

    Summer of 1993 I was a single parent and had 3 children all under age 4 years old, 3 buddies from work invited me along on a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach and I jumped at the chance. My biggest memory of this song is lying on the beach all day listening to this song while the guys played golf then all of us hitting the Grand Strand at night. LoL that song and those guys helped me retain my sanity as a working mom❤️..

    There are so many great female musicians that everyone will recommend for y’all. But one of my favorite female artists of all time is Tracy Chapman. There is no other songwirter who makes me stop and contemplate her lyrics no matter how many times I’ve heard them. She is not just a musician…she is a poet. ❤

    love this one, takes me back to high school! i played this over and over lol love it! linda perry the lead singer is a crazy good songwriter for a ton of big artists and i believe she produces some as well!
