Great session. Thanks for the explanation of bouncing the lead off bottom in the canal, a technique I think I’ll try in a small nearby river. Great content. Ps It was -28C here in Northern Ontario, hence I’m jealous.
Thanks man its good craic on the light gear, the wind noise was the only thing that bothered me 😂 I’d say another 2-3 weeks and the pike will really wake up and turn proper active before they go to spawn👌
@@senanstanleyfishing the wind drives me mad when I head out with the camera to but it wasn't bad in the video. Yea was out today myself got hit by 4 pike one around 9or 10lb the rest tiny only landed one 😅but they are definitely starting to show up more frequently over the last 2 or 3 weeks. It can only get better now 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I haven’t caught a perch in 3 months 😢, got my first fish of 2023 the other day in Laois angling centre, new PB for me, 6 pound not too big but still a fish.
Hi Senan, Really enjoyed your video. Some nice Perch and a massive Pike on light tackle. Best regards, Wayne 😀👍
Thanks Wayne, it’s all action when you come across a pike on the perch gear, a real challenge to land them. 😁
Super stuff
Ah jaysus that must’ve been some shock. Good idea bringing the trace. 🎉🎉
The pike always show up when you least expect them 😁🎣
Great video 🐟
Thank you
Great catch on the perch gear, beautiful pike..
Thanks for watching Kieran 😎🤙
Another good vid bud, what weight was that pike ya think, she looked a good size
Thanks Pauric, she was long but fairly lean, would say only between 6-9 lb there wasn’t any condition on her at all, just fairly long 😅

Thanks Michael! Wow that’s super cold, although I think it would be worth it to be able to fish in northern Ontario 🙌 we’re almost into spring here !
Good stuff buddy, that was a fine Pike and great sport on the light gear. Some lovely Perch to. Great session 🎣🎣

Thanks Eddie, I got mine from fishing tackle ireland, usually between €30/50 they are really nice rods for the price 👌

Great pike lad...cant beat some lightl lure fishing 🎣👊
Sound lad them dropshot sessions are good craic ☺️🤙
@@senanstanleyfishing love a dropshot...u should try some creature baits on the dropshot they normally pick out the bigger fish i find 👊🎣
Have some creature baits coming this week all the way from ali express so will be fun to see if they work 😂🤙

That’s a fine fish to catch, well done ☺️🙌
Friend of mine had 2 in one session on the barrow. 3lb 6 and 3lb 12.
Sometimes it’s all pike and no perch on the dropshot, the pike can never refuse those little perch lures 😂🙌
@@senanstanleyfishing there is something about catching pike on light gear 👍
