Fury is loosely based on the very real Leopold "War Daddy" Pool. Sgt. Pool was called The Ace of Aces among Tank Commanders. Everyone in his tank crew had a war nickname. His tank was named "In the Mood". He and his crew are credited with taking out 12 tanks and 258 armored carriers in an 80 day period. Pool, though severely injured survived the war. The tank named Fury is a real tank on loan from the Bovington Museum.
There is a slight difference between the Fury tank and the actual tanks the US used in Europe in WW2...the US tanks had gasoline engines, while the Fury tank is diesel powered...supposedly it is an old Lend Lease tank that was sent to the Soviets. In terms of exact models, the Fury tank is an M4A2E8 (76W) HVSS, while the American version "Easy Eight" would be the M4A3E8(76W)HVSS. The best tank the real War Daddy ever got to command was the M4A1(76W). Sorry if you already knew all that. 👍
More like the commander you should avoid at all cost if you actually want to survive. He made horrible tactical decisions, both against the Tiger and not least the final battle.

He fought the tiger rather than letting it kill more tanks and men, and he fought the SS Battalion to save hundreds or thousands of men down the road. He did his duty, and he was a good commander who put the lives of others above his own.

In reality that lone, immobile, unsupported Sherman would have held up that German column for exactly 5 minutes before being blown up by multiple Panzerfausts. One experienced tank crew sacrified for nothing.
@@TTTT-oc4eb For all we know the SS unit could have been Hitler Youth, and green. At that stage everyone who could hold a gun was thrown into Hitler's last stand. Does anyone think that with the US controlling the airspace there would be a long "soft target" line of troops marching on a road into battle singing if they had any actual experience??That was a real tipoff.

The Tiger towards the end is a real one, Tiger 131 out of Bovington (the museum), it was captured in North Africa in WW2 by the British. It’s the only running, original, Tiger on the planet, there’s some excellent videos on how they used it to make the film.

I get emotional watching this and other WW2 films relating it to hearing the stories from my grandfathers before they passed about their time in the war. The stories my grandfather told me could easily be made into a movie on par with fury. You are correct there is a reason we refer to their generation as the greatest generation

Excellent. No doubt he went through Hell. My grandfather, who died before I was born, was at Verdun in 1916. His 4 sons fought in various places against the Soviet Union in WWII. One of them was at Stalingrad. Luckily all of them returned.

You’re absolutely not allowed to wear your enemy combatant’s uniform. 1) You are possibly spy. 2) Dishonoring & disrespecting the dead of an enemy. 3) Creating mass confusion where fellow soldiers start shooting their own teammates cuz of enemy combatants disguising themselves as one of them ends up being the “norm”. I get he’s trying to survive in any way he can but that’s really a no go. If he wanted to be a POW (Prisoner of War) , he should’ve surrendered wearing his own uniform. However, there are cases where fellow officers & grunts don’t give an F. Get away with it cuz of personal reasons. No matter what side you’re on, every nation, there’s always some rogue elements that don’t follow the ROE (Rules of Engagement)

Yeah like us soldiers taking all German guns uniforms cars tanks etc cauze they where better and allied soldiers just didn’t want to take the trash given to them not a single German soldier would have ever worn US shit cloth or take their shit weapons
In war there's things soldiers have to do/go through that any normal person should never have to go through. Killing the enemy soldiers, (shooting them, burning them, blowing them up), seeing the same done to people you know, having to do it to enemy soldiers that are only teenagers so they don't kill you first. Having to kill enemy soldiers because you can't take them as prisoners of war and you can't let them go free. Walking down a road or bridge and seeing a dismembered body part off to the side and not knowing who it belonged to or what happened to the rest of them.

Great reaction! After you get through the war films. If you feel you need something funny or mellow. I have two recommendations for you. First, I recommend "Noises Off" a great 1992 comedy about a disorganized acting troup. The film stars Sir Michael Caine, Carol Burnett, the late Christopher Reeve (Superman), the late John Ritter (Threes Company), Julie Hagerty and the late Denholm Elliot. Directed by Peter Bogdanovich. A hilarious film! Finally, for a mellow film, I recommend "Bicentennial Man" a great 1999 drama. It stars the late Robin Williams. A very mellow film with a great story. The late James Horner does a beautiful score. Directed by Chris Columbus and crew. A wonderful film. Great reaction Steph and Liam!
The German tank here is what's known as Tiger I. It would indeed be a beast vs M4 Sherman tanks but such battles rarely ever happened in the war. A tank's role is to provide infantry support, typically against enemy infantry and light vehicles. The Tiger tank is better suited to fight other tanks, meaning it does not fit the typical tank role well. Also the amount of such tanks produced was quite low - just over 1300. Add to that the notorious lack of reliability and we can expect about 20% of those to only be suitable for spare parts. At the same time about 50000 Sherman tanks were produced and most were deployed during the war. As they say - quantity has a quality of its own. One more thing - Fury has the upgraded high-velocity 76mm gun and could easily penetrate the Tiger's front armor at that range. Such ambushes are realistic and did happen, however attacking the enemy tank in the open field is not realistic at all. They would typically deploy smoke, pull back on the other side of the road and call air support or infantry scouts first. If they rush a lone Tiger tank not only are they giving it free tank kills, but also would risk being pulled into a crossfire between other tanks or anti-tank weapons.
When Wardaddy made the kid shoot the germen, they captured it was mercy. He was taken in a US Uniform over his own making him a spy and subject to execution and so it was going to be fast or slow, but it was inevitable that man was dead as soon as he put that coat on over his own uniform.
Not really the issue of being a spy is what would have led to a death sentence. According to the Geneva Convention a soldier wearing the enemy's uniform could be executed because to wear another's uniform could lead to chaos on the battlefield and cause unnecessary deaths.
@@mikealvarez2322 Might have been the case before the SS used the tactic during the Bulge offensive purposefully and the order was given to all troops to shoot them as Spy's. My Grandfather was a Pilot flying a B-17 and he kept that memo and the poster that showed SS units trained to infiltrate American lines and cause havoc. It called them Spys.

Highly recommend watching "Das Boot" (1981) its about the Crew of a German WW2 Submarine and shows how the crew works and lives togheter in this thight metal tube and how they deal with fear, claustrophobia and the war in general. No other movie shows and makes you feal claustrophobia like "Das Boot".
I see a lot of reactors to this depiction say "Wow he made it" As a former soldier i would like to remind all that this was one day in a tour of many fights. It is a miracle for any to make it out of a tour. The guilt of surviving for many of us made us do stupid things like re enter the theater for more tours. Only growing old made me realize the waste and stupidity of it all. Better to turn it on the masters of war than on each-other.
You should view the film “The Wild Geese” 1978. The last hurrah from the old school actors “Richard Burton, Richard Harris & Roger Moore & a great theme tune from Joan Armatrading!
The Sherman tank was no match for the German Tiger or Panther. The stand 75 mm. gun was like a pea shooter off the front of a Tiger. The British removed the 75 mm cannon off some of their Shermans and replaced them with a 17 pounder. This tank was known as the Firefly and the Germans were terrified of it. The British offered 1000 Fireflies to the Americans but we turned them down. Don't ask me why, for I have no idea. From September 1944 to March 1945 the US was losing about 400 tanks per month. .
Depends on what version of the Sherman fury is a easy 8 Sherman it’s the long barreled 76 mm which can pen the fro t armor of the tiger one which is the reason that scene is so stupid also that scene plays into the myth that it takes 5 Sherman’s to kill a tiger
US Sherman variants with 76mm high velocity guns entered production in February of 1944, having begun development in late 1942. They were already in the depots in England ready to be issued for D-Day, but reportedly, none of the commanders wanted them yet. The 75mm short barrel gun had a high explosive shell that was so much superior to the HE shell for the 76mm gun that all US tank unit commanders tried to keep the 75mm gun armed tanks around in large numbers. The US 76mm gun could penetrate the front of the Tiger from at least 500 meters with standard APCBC shells, and from about 1000 meters with high velocity AP (HVAP)...the Fury had the 76mm gun and in April 1945 would have carried HVAP shells.

At any given time 40% of all Tigers were under repair. Many Tigers were destroyed by their own crews when they ran out of gas or just broke down. Germany might have been better off manufacturing more of their very good Mark 4 tanks. The Sherman was very versatile and open to many adaptations. When evaluating the Sherman it's a matter of seeing the glass either half empty or half full. I think the Sherman was a good tank for its time. It was easy to manufacture which was important given the fact that our automobile manufacturing companies had to build them for the US, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union. They did serve in all theaters of the war. The Shermans were reliable, easy to repair, and adaptable.
Don’t get me started on the fact that the US could easily out produce Germany when it came to Tiger-quality tanks, but for one reason or another they never did.
A YT channel named The Fat Electrician has a true life telling of this tank.. He is well known and has an informative, humorous, factual and accurate telling of this and many other war battles.. Definitely worth checking out.
He tells the real story of War Daddy...but War Daddy never got to command any tank as good as the Fury tank. He did get to command M4A1(76W) models, but nothing as updated as the late war M4A3E8(76W)HVSS "Easy Eight" that the Fury tank is supposed to be. Hope you do not mind the minor correction.
Fun fact if you want to go to BOVINGTON TANK MUSEUM in the south of England you can see the REAL fury tank from the film aswell as the german TIGER, which is called tiger 131 and is the only running tiger left in the world. I've seen them myself and its awesome Edit: fixed spelling mistakes lol
Tiger 131 is kept and maintained by The Tank Museum in Bovington England...and is the only operational Tiger tank in the world. There appear to be only 9 other Tigers in the world in varying conditions, some of them are not complete, and none of them is functional.

Such a brilliant film! If you get the chance, check out bovington tank museum in Dorset, the fury tank is there on display. The amount of bullets and bodies around the tank at the end really hit me hard..
WW2 soldiers were generally very young. Most of the combat troops were in their early 20s. The only exception was the 77 division, Desmond Doss's group that were called The Old Guys or sometimes The Old Bastards. Tank crews were no exception. Sgt. Lafayette Pool was the oldest member of his crew and he was 25. My Dad enlisted right after Pearl Harbor and he was the oldest man in his barracks at the ripe old age of 25. One of the biggest problems with war movie accuracy is the fact that the actors are too old.😮
It's a movie, of course in reality an immobile tank is no threat to them apart from the initial surprise attack. They could have just gone around it in the fields, not to mention the rear of the tank was totally unprotected
The people from those generations went through hell for our freedom. We should be forever grateful for what they did and we should NEVER forget. With that in mind, you guys MUST watch Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk. As a fellow Brit, I can only say it's one of the most powerful endings to a war film I have ever seen.
Don't feel sorry for Norman. He went thru basic training like everyone else. Also, remember that we were fighting to keep Hitler from getting the first A-bomb.

One of his videos is about Lafayette "War Daddy" Pool, the WWII tank commander whose actual story was the basis for this movie. He's an ex-Army medic and absolute student of history who gives all the facts from his exhaustive research. As an ex-Army guy his language is occasionally (often?) foul, but he is perhaps the most engaging and humorous storyteller to be found on YT. The Fat Electrician. Go check him out. *War movies tend to affect men to a visceral level, because we can see ourselves in their position, if we were born at a different time. So it hits different. Especially because there's always that chance it may happen again*
The Tiger Tank had a larger gun, more range, and much heavier protective armament. They were far superior to the Sherman Tank but Shermans were mass produced and easier to repair. Mass production proved more important than superior technology. The downside of course was the number of tanks and more importantly men that were lost.

Hi guys, I highly recommend you react to Kelly's Heroes (1970) it's got vibes of this movie + saving private ryan. A WWII action comedy set in the aftermath of D-Day; Clint Eastwood stars in the title role as a soldier who leads his platoon on a mission to steal nazi gold hidden behind enemy lines. The late great Donald Sutherland steals the show as a hippie tank sergeant. It's very underreacted to here on youtube, as are aerial warfare movies. I can't highly recommend enough: Memphis Belle, Red Tails, The Battle Of Britain & The Dambusters. Please react to these asap, war in the air is a woefully underreacted to sub-genre of war and is infinitly more exiting and entertaining to watch than land based warfare. This movie is fictional, but the "War Daddy" character is very loosely based on Lafayette "War Daddy" Pool who was a highly decorated tank commander and a tank ace. The real War Daddy survived the war but lost a leg. There is a video by The Fat Electrician called "The Most Gangster Tanker of WWII" that is about the real "War Daddy" and his crew. It's a great video if y'all are curious about the real guy. As much as I love "Fury", I really wish that Hollywood would have depicted the real 'War Daddy' and showed a historically based account of everything that he and his crew did.
What a brilliant movie, up there with Saving Private Ryan. The reality of war is harrowing and horriific. I love these movies but they destroy me. Being Autistic/ADHD, certain things trigger my associated anxiety. The one that messed me up the worst was *The Pacific.* From the people behind *Band of Brother's* It triggered my anxiety so bad, that for almost a week after it, I felt tearful when some of the horror it depicted came to my mind. Some of the scenes are that horrific. I couldn't watch it again.

I had very high expectations for this film but when I watched it I was immensely disappointed by the weakness of the plot, script and development and most of all by the total unreality of the battle scenes.
FYI I’m a retired US Army Desert Storm Combat Vet 19K40 which translates to US Army Armor Crewman. SFC (E7) Platoon Sergeant. The battle scenes and tactics are very accurate, not to mention the radio talk. I don’t know how you comment on something you absolutely know nothing about. War is hell, ugly, and unless you been there you don’t understand or comprehend what happens. The smell of dead bodies alone is enough to make some vomit. And yes our Sherman tanks were no match for the German tanks using the 88m gun (which was taken from the artillery 88m howister. Our sure numbers and tactics which won the tank battles. And yes we lost quite a few. Only weaknesses were the AS* and a point blank shot. Do your research before making such a dumb statement. And FYI if the German tanks didn’t run out of fuel/suppy lines cut ,the ground war would ended up different.

The Tiger vs 4 Sherman scene is unrealistic the Tiger would have destroyed all 4. 1. German tanks didn't fire from the move 2. At the beginning you go first in a column and the distance is not a problem either. 3. the tiger would not have bounced off the side of the sherman.

In war there's things soldiers have to do/go through that any normal person should never have to go through.
Killing the enemy soldiers, (shooting them, burning them, blowing them up), seeing the same done to people you know, having to do it to enemy soldiers that are only teenagers so they don't kill you first. Having to kill enemy soldiers because you can't take them as prisoners of war and you can't let them go free.
Walking down a road or bridge and seeing a dismembered body part off to the side and not knowing who it belonged to or what happened to the rest of them.

Great reaction! After you get through the war films. If you feel you need something funny or mellow. I have two recommendations for you. First, I recommend "Noises Off" a great 1992 comedy about a disorganized acting troup. The film stars Sir Michael Caine, Carol Burnett, the late Christopher Reeve (Superman), the late John Ritter (Threes Company), Julie Hagerty and the late Denholm Elliot. Directed by Peter Bogdanovich. A hilarious film! Finally, for a mellow film, I recommend "Bicentennial Man" a great 1999 drama. It stars the late Robin Williams. A very mellow film with a great story. The late James Horner does a beautiful score. Directed by Chris Columbus and crew. A wonderful film. Great reaction Steph and Liam!

The German tank here is what's known as Tiger I. It would indeed be a beast vs M4 Sherman tanks but such battles rarely ever happened in the war. A tank's role is to provide infantry support, typically against enemy infantry and light vehicles. The Tiger tank is better suited to fight other tanks, meaning it does not fit the typical tank role well. Also the amount of such tanks produced was quite low - just over 1300. Add to that the notorious lack of reliability and we can expect about 20% of those to only be suitable for spare parts. At the same time about 50000 Sherman tanks were produced and most were deployed during the war. As they say - quantity has a quality of its own.
One more thing - Fury has the upgraded high-velocity 76mm gun and could easily penetrate the Tiger's front armor at that range. Such ambushes are realistic and did happen, however attacking the enemy tank in the open field is not realistic at all. They would typically deploy smoke, pull back on the other side of the road and call air support or infantry scouts first. If they rush a lone Tiger tank not only are they giving it free tank kills, but also would risk being pulled into a crossfire between other tanks or anti-tank weapons.
When Wardaddy made the kid shoot the germen, they captured it was mercy. He was taken in a US Uniform over his own making him a spy and subject to execution and so it was going to be fast or slow, but it was inevitable that man was dead as soon as he put that coat on over his own uniform.
Not really the issue of being a spy is what would have led to a death sentence. According to the Geneva Convention a soldier wearing the enemy's uniform could be executed because to wear another's uniform could lead to chaos on the battlefield and cause unnecessary deaths.
@@mikealvarez2322 Might have been the case before the SS used the tactic during the Bulge offensive purposefully and the order was given to all troops to shoot them as Spy's. My Grandfather was a Pilot flying a B-17 and he kept that memo and the poster that showed SS units trained to infiltrate American lines and cause havoc. It called them Spys.

Highly recommend watching "Das Boot" (1981) its about the Crew of a German WW2 Submarine and shows how the crew works and lives togheter in this thight metal tube and how they deal with fear, claustrophobia and the war in general.
No other movie shows and makes you feal claustrophobia like "Das Boot".

I see a lot of reactors to this depiction say "Wow he made it" As a former soldier i would like to remind all that this was one day in a tour of many fights. It is a miracle for any to make it out of a tour. The guilt of surviving for many of us made us do stupid things like re enter the theater for more tours. Only growing old made me realize the waste and stupidity of it all. Better to turn it on the masters of war than on each-other.

The Sherman tank was no match for the German Tiger or Panther. The stand 75 mm. gun was like a pea shooter off the front of a Tiger. The British removed the 75 mm cannon off some of their Shermans and replaced them with a 17 pounder. This tank was known as the Firefly and the Germans were terrified of it. The British offered 1000 Fireflies to the Americans but we turned them down. Don't ask me why, for I have no idea. From September 1944 to March 1945 the US was losing about 400 tanks per month. .
Depends on what version of the Sherman fury is a easy 8 Sherman it’s the long barreled 76 mm which can pen the fro t armor of the tiger one which is the reason that scene is so stupid also that scene plays into the myth that it takes 5 Sherman’s to kill a tiger
US Sherman variants with 76mm high velocity guns entered production in February of 1944, having begun development in late 1942. They were already in the depots in England ready to be issued for D-Day, but reportedly, none of the commanders wanted them yet. The 75mm short barrel gun had a high explosive shell that was so much superior to the HE shell for the 76mm gun that all US tank unit commanders tried to keep the 75mm gun armed tanks around in large numbers. The US 76mm gun could penetrate the front of the Tiger from at least 500 meters with standard APCBC shells, and from about 1000 meters with high velocity AP (HVAP)...the Fury had the 76mm gun and in April 1945 would have carried HVAP shells.
@@iKvetch558That is why Fury would have been taken out first by the Tiger. The Tiger had its problems. They were prone to breaking down and they were slow. At any given time 40% of all Tigers were under repair. Many Tigers were destroyed by their own crews when they ran out of gas or just broke down. Germany might have been better off manufacturing more of their very good Mark 4 tanks. The Sherman was very versatile and open to many adaptations. When evaluating the Sherman it's a matter of seeing the glass either half empty or half full. I think the Sherman was a good tank for its time. It was easy to manufacture which was important given the fact that our automobile manufacturing companies had to build them for the US, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union. They did serve in all theaters of the war. The Shermans were reliable, easy to repair, and adaptable.
400 tanks per month by today's standards is insane tbh. Modern-day United Kingdom doesn't even have 300 Challenger 2s.
Don’t get me started on the fact that the US could easily out produce Germany when it came to Tiger-quality tanks, but for one reason or another they never did.

The Tiger in the Battle with Fury is One of THE Last Functional WWII German Tiger Tanks left on the🌎,,,,,i think theres only 3(dont hold me to that)
Tiger 131 is kept and maintained by The Tank Museum in Bovington England...and is the only operational Tiger tank in the world. There appear to be only 9 other Tigers in the world in varying conditions, some of them are not complete, and none of them is functional.
One of my favorite war movies. Just the soundtrack gives me tears when I hear it.

The movie Fury is based on real experiences WWII tank division soldiers had, however the characters in the movie are fictional.
Such a brilliant film! If you get the chance, check out bovington tank museum in Dorset, the fury tank is there on display.
The amount of bullets and bodies around the tank at the end really hit me hard..

WW2 soldiers were generally very young. Most of the combat troops were in their early 20s. The only exception was the 77 division, Desmond Doss's group that were called The Old Guys or sometimes The Old Bastards. Tank crews were no exception. Sgt. Lafayette Pool was the oldest member of his crew and he was 25. My Dad enlisted right after Pearl Harbor and he was the oldest man in his barracks at the ripe old age of 25.
One of the biggest problems with war movie accuracy is the fact that the actors are too old.😮

There's another good tank movie from 1988 called The Beast that's worth a watch, it's about Afghanistan in 1981 though so a much more recent conflict.
For the record, an SS battalion would not waste the manpower and resources on a single immobile tank.
It's a movie, of course in reality an immobile tank is no threat to them apart from the initial surprise attack. They could have just gone around it in the fields, not to mention the rear of the tank was totally unprotected
The people from those generations went through hell for our freedom. We should be forever grateful for what they did and we should NEVER forget. With that in mind, you guys MUST watch Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk. As a fellow Brit, I can only say it's one of the most powerful endings to a war film I have ever seen.

One of his videos is about Lafayette "War Daddy" Pool, the WWII tank commander whose actual story was the basis for this movie. Now go and react to it and learn the true story behind this excellent movie!
And all Nic's videos are amazing. He's an ex-Army medic and absolute student of history who gives all the facts from his exhaustive research. As an ex-Army guy his language is occasionally (often?) foul, but he is perhaps the most engaging and humorous storyteller to be found on YT. The Fat Electrician. Go check him out. tiger was one of the most feared tanks of WW2
The tiger also averaged a 1/2 a mile a gallon, which also was a major weakness with it.
*War movies tend to affect men to a visceral level, because we can see ourselves in their position, if we were born at a different time. So it hits different. Especially because there's always that chance it may happen again*

The Tiger Tank had a larger gun, more range, and much heavier protective armament. They were far superior to the Sherman Tank but Shermans were mass produced and easier to repair. Mass production proved more important than superior technology. The downside of course was the number of tanks and more importantly men that were lost.
It's loosely based on a real tank commander and his crew from world war II. Lafayette pool was his name play and his battle name was "war Daddy". The fat electrician does a good video about it
At the beginning, that was artillery, not German planes bombing. 1945, America is in Germany, the German Air Force was nowhere to be seen at this point. They were destroyed.

Hi guys, I highly recommend you react to Kelly's Heroes (1970) it's got vibes of this movie + saving private ryan. A WWII action comedy set in the aftermath of D-Day; Clint Eastwood stars in the title role as a soldier who leads his platoon on a mission to steal nazi gold hidden behind enemy lines. The late great Donald Sutherland steals the show as a hippie tank sergeant. It's very underreacted to here on youtube, as are aerial warfare movies. I can't highly recommend enough: Memphis Belle, Red Tails, The Battle Of Britain & The Dambusters. Please react to these asap, war in the air is a woefully underreacted to sub-genre of war and is infinitly more exiting and entertaining to watch than land based warfare. @@Reactsandgames He's referring to the name of the tank that the real "War Daddy" and his crew were in. Their tank was called "In The Mood" after the famous Glenn Miller song. This movie is fictional, but the "War Daddy" character is very loosely based on Lafayette "War Daddy" Pool who was a highly decorated tank commander and a tank ace. The real War Daddy survived the war but lost a leg. There is a video by The Fat Electrician called "The Most Gangster Tanker of WWII" that is about the real "War Daddy" and his crew. It's a great video if y'all are curious about the real guy. As much as I love "Fury", I really wish that Hollywood would have depicted the real 'War Daddy' and showed a historically based account of everything that he and his crew did.

What a brilliant movie, up there with Saving Private Ryan. The reality of war is harrowing and horriific. I love these movies but they destroy me. Being Autistic/ADHD, certain things trigger my associated anxiety. The one that messed me up the worst was *The Pacific.* From the people behind *Band of Brother's* It triggered my anxiety so bad, that for almost a week after it, I felt tearful when some of the horror it depicted came to my mind. Some of the scenes are that horrific. I couldn't watch it again.

8:17 He could not shoot the Germans because his gun can't turn all the way to the right so it was not his area of responsibility.
Their final stand is brave, but it was an order. To abandon their position would result in military prison.

I had very high expectations for this film but when I watched it I was immensely disappointed by the weakness of the plot, script and development and most of all by the total unreality of the battle scenes.
Fair enough. We enjoyed it. You can’t fault the acting though surely!? Top notch!
FYI I’m a retired US Army Desert Storm Combat Vet 19K40 which translates to US Army Armor Crewman. SFC (E7) Platoon Sergeant. The battle scenes and tactics are very accurate, not to mention the radio talk. I don’t know how you comment on something you absolutely know nothing about. War is hell, ugly, and unless you been there you don’t understand or comprehend what happens. The smell of dead bodies alone is enough to make some vomit. And yes our Sherman tanks were no match for the German tanks using the 88m gun (which was taken from the artillery 88m howister. Our sure numbers and tactics which won the tank battles. And yes we lost quite a few. Only weaknesses were the AS* and a point blank shot. Do your research before making such a dumb statement. And FYI if the German tanks didn’t run out of fuel/suppy lines cut ,the ground war would ended up different.

The Tiger vs 4 Sherman scene is unrealistic the Tiger would have destroyed all 4. 1. German tanks didn't fire from the move 2. At the beginning you go first in a column and the distance is not a problem either. 3. the tiger would not have bounced off the side of the sherman.
