I want to say one thing. I just feel blessed I am able to appreciate the Beatles. I feel a bit sorry for the ones who aren't. I seriously hope they get the same kind of thrill from other music. Because this is one of those feelings that makes you glad to be alive.
I didn’t appreciate The Beatles and I did get a thrill out of other music and still do. For the longest time I did not understand how a band could constantly change their sound, how each band member could greatly contribute to the sound/group, or how 60s music made 60 years ago could appeal to modern ears.
My mate lost his daughter. He mustered the strength to play and sing this on the piano at her funerial as one last goodbye. That will live with me forever
This documentary is a collage in lots of ways, video and audio in this excerpt doesn't seem to match in different parts. So who knows if the face Ringo had was actually when the audio happened.
It's like watching a god create a mountain. It's one of the most timeless, bedrock melodies that has spread into every facet of modern music, and here's this young guy, kind of unseriously letting it be born. Magical.
i will say - we will NEVER have true music like this where people are still listening decades later. As good as maybe Taylor S is - she's the only one. But think not either

This may be the prettiest melody in the history of popular music. Those chords 😢
At 1:20 Paul sings Golden Slumbers in the melody of a song he would release later in the 80's! (The song being Waterfalls)
I just LOVE the look on Ringo's face (00:42) like he was thinking "How Paul can come up with such genius stuff"?
Lol you are spot on my friend. Ringo is speaking for all of us with his expression there.

Ringo coming in at “carry that weight” for the first time kinda killed me
How can you not be romantic about this band and this song after seeing this?
The Beatles were and will always be the Greatest band of all time!!
It's great to see how they construct and put together a song, and in such a relaxed manner.
A masterpiece. And these 4 blokes created many of them. WOW
How lucky I am that I'm watching how a master piece created
the beatle’s will never die
