That looks so good! The attention to detail on the install is clearly evident when all the panels line up AND you managed to get that done with one sheet. Great job!
EVA foam is great. BUT, on my boat, the pvc core and aluminum board used for the build can get hot in the sun here is Florida. I love how it is cool on my feet. But, the adhesive that came on my EVA, tends to get soft in the extreme heat. Have not tried this on fiberglass or wood. If you are going to use it on wood, make sure that you have high gloss oilbase enamel on the wood. This will seal the wood and give the slick surface that the adhesive likes to stick to.
I have the same issue. Adhesive sticks to the aluminum great but the foam is lifting away from the adhesive. I will try the heat gun and see if it’s a semi permanent solution. If it lifts again I’ll get another adhesive and spot treat the lifting areas.
Two years. Love the product. Hate how it doesn't like to stick. The 3M adhesive sticks great to the aluminum. But the EVA comes loose from the adhesive.

Thanks. There were two sheets total of the "stuff".
Looks great!
Thanks. Still looks pretty good two years later. Gotta keep it clean and covered. Long hot sunny days months on end is tough on the adhesive.
Do you still like the Eva foam? West Coast Marine has it, but cost more than what Amazon sells.

How long have you had it on your boat now?

@@robbhawks2568 so do you just hit it with the heat gun every time or did you pull it
Your feet must heat on this black foam in summer
The EVA actually does not get hot and is cooler than the white decking. Go figure.
but what are you doing. Don't follow this tutorial
