I imagine (based upon numerous other foam deck install YT videos) that after two years or so you're gonna regret making the removal so hard with the added Gorilla Glue.
Maybe, unfortunately Ive been laid up for over a year with a back surgery. Boat is still in the garage. But, I also wont be storing the boat outside in the sun either, so hoping for some longevity due to that.
Geweldig duidelijk gedaan.
Seems to be fine, but in fairness, Ive not been able to use it. My back was re-injured shortly after this video was posted, and I havent been able to finish the project.
Absolutely. It would make a great all purpose flooring. Its ever so slightly spongey to walk on. I would HIGHLY recommend using 3M heavy duty spray adhesive or even a flooring adhesive you trowel down. Itll definitely work though.
Unfortunately due to a back injury right after I made this video I wasn't able to finish the boat or test it in a real world environment. Ive read from others that thiers is holding up well UNLESS the boat sits in the open sun everyday. Then it begins to break down over time. It seems covered storage is a life saver for it.
I felt that roll-in to the boat😆
Me too... for 3 days! lol

@@loganreviewsit I had back surgery a year ago October 6 (2023). I feel substantially better. Hope you're better soon.
What was on the bottom of the boat that you glued the EVA foam decking to?
Plywood painted with oil based enamel. Sadly I havent finished that boat but the EVA is stuck down forever!! Lol
Thanks bro! Im from South Louisiana too my man good shit lol!!👍🏼

what size roll of evo foam did they send you ? i’m trying to do a 14ft by 60’ floor.
I had two 4ft x 96" rolls. Ive only opened one so far for this section of boat and have half left.
How’s it holding up? Any ill effects of using the gorilla adhesive?

Can this be used in an RV?

@@loganreviewsit Umm....you are shown using Gorilla spray glue in the video...not 3M.
@@neurosis333 Yes thats true and it works great. My preference has always been 3M but really any quality spray adhesive would work fine.
What spray did you use ?
3m Heavy Duty spray adhesive. Be sure to follow the directions. Once its stuck ITS STUCK!
How has it held up after months of use?

Only lasts two years in Florida sun. Watch my video of how it ruined my gelcoat.
Im sure if the boat is in the sun all day everyday, most foams would deteriorate.
Thats why u get a boat cover
@@tyjiritaylor5398 I fish everyday. And when boat is home it’s under cover. A boat cover does little in the Florida sun.
