Led Zeppelin are like no other band. They had the image, attitude, mystique and above all the sounds created by four master musicians. Everyone wanted what they had. They basically set the bar so high that few if any could match. Apart from their eight official studio albums, it was their live performances that became legendary. Often performing through improvisation, you never really knew what you were going to get at a Zeppelin gig except three or four hours of pure magic.

I grew up as a child in the 1960s and 70s and I would love this song it first and then I got so sick and tired of it being played constantly on the radio, if you were on a job site it would always be playing all that stuff. But as I'm older I can listen to it again with fresher ears and it still gives me goosebumps that's how good this thing is. I'm glad you guys covered it.

It is a gut wrenching shame no reactors listen to the studio version of this song; one of the greatest songs ever recorded in a studio, of all time. I've clicked on StH reaction vids for a year, never a one studio version. It is recording magic and no one is listening to it.

They are about 30 years older than they were here at Madison square Garden but they rock it just the same. The Drummer since passed away (RIP) but his son is on the drums in this concert. Everybody wore their jeans like that back in the day. You did it by buying a pair of Levis a size bigger, then putting them on and climbing into the bath, so the jeans moulded themselves to your body. Back then, denim jeans always shrank, and Levis were the best for that. The real devotees wore them until they dried, but once they'd shrunk down you could take them off and try to get all that blue dye off your legs. Every member of Led Zeppelin features in the "best of list." That's one reason they were so good. The other was Jimmy Page's experiences and knowledge of how a studio worked back then.

When you sit down and look through the lyrics of these songs, they really don't seem that complex. When you inject these 4 into it, you come away feeling like you just watched a 2 hour epic adventure after each one.
Normally for new Zep listeners I would suggest something from the studio that shows off the bands talents and engineering skills like Good Times Bad Times (check out that drum) or even better Over the Hills and Far Away (headphones are a must for that intro), but since you seem to really get into their live groove, the only place to go next is Since I've Been Loving You...in particular the MSG live version here: ua-cam.com/video/1gHlbHtdVLU/v-deo.html because some of the others have the video and audio slightly out of sync and it takes away from the performance. That is the best example of the passion, talent, and energy they brought to a live performance (IMO).

When you sit down and look through the lyrics of these songs, they really don't seem that complex. When you inject these 4 into it, you come away feeling like you just watched a 2 hour epic adventure after each one.

Normally for new Zep listeners I would suggest something from the studio that shows off the bands talents and engineering skills like Good Times Bad Times (check out that drum) or even better Over the Hills and Far Away (headphones are a must for that intro), but since you seem to really get into their live groove, the only place to go next is Since I've Been Loving You...in particular the MSG live version here: ua-cam.com/video/1gHlbHtdVLU/v-deo.html because some of the others have the video and audio slightly out of sync and it takes away from the performance. That is the best example of the passion, talent, and energy they brought to a live performance (IMO).
