I saw Led Zeppelin at Knebworth on my 16th birthday. Dad just left an envelope on the table with two tickets inside. It was a mad rush to get there but it was well worth it. Still think about it with fond memories 45 years later.
Hello beautiful Texas ladies a song from Donna's youth I love seeing her enjoy songs from her youth. And hey guys for Lulu's next birthday surprise her with some aqua net and we know there not a sponsor lol. Wintersun Alex in Texas ❄️♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for that! I'm very familiar with the original and the live version from The Song Remains The Same but I've not seen or heard this one before :-)
You guy's are great ! Love your reactions . Led Zeppelin are the ducks guts ! ( Aussie saying ) meaning awesome ha ha ! Super talented and yes great hair lol ! Don't change as you are so real and refreshing to watch. Keep up the great work. Peace n love from down under 😎✌❤
Hi, I was 6 years old at that time of the concert. I have 2 older siblings and there are the ones who told me to listen to this band. After hearing them, a year and a 1/2 later, my parents got me an electric guitar and here I am playing in their music. When you 3 beautiful ladies have time, you gotta check out The Song Remains The Same. It was filmed at the Madison Square Garden in New York City 1973.. You guys will be amazed. Keep up the good work and we all love you here in Long Island New York.
Doing a fine job Ladies. I saw L. Z. 21 June 1972 in Denver. Great concert 4 hrs long. 2 days later I was deployed to the Vietnam war. L. Z. helped me through a long year. They are simply the best!!!
Thank you, thank you, and thank you for showing this video. Brought back a ton of memories for me of our old band playing this song in North Central Arkansas back in 75' when I was 18. Hair, V collared shirts, bellbottom pants and platform shoes. Seventies style. Thank you once again ladies. I appreciate it very much.
It was a pleasure watching a 3 generation family enjoying a band I've loved for 50 plus years, honestly start from the start with this band, it's a must - do not deny yourselves of one of the great pleasures in life..much love..
No other band had the range of music like LZ, GOAT Rock/Blues band. Their music it as great today as it was 50+ years ago. NEVER gets old. Glad 2/3 gals enjoyed it.
I was in the audience that night, and also the other 4 nights, what a time that was. I saw their final uk gig at Kebworth Park too, 4 years later. Still the best band in the world in my opinion.
earlier this year we were in the market square Teguise Lanzarote and a middle age woman had her laptop playing this version. there were kids, spanish grannies, old fools like me, my daughter and everyone else that went by just stopped silent. i appeciate lots of music but this is another level, thanks for reaction girls.
Yes I’d give up every concert I ever saw, to have seen them in concert. I was either to young, or they played to far away for someone that didn’t have their license yet, when I did they didn’t play in the US anymore.
@@KathyLuluandDonnawatch the Madison Square Garden version on your own, & see the real perfection of it. What’s really amazing, they were only together about 2 months, when they recorded the first amazing album. Even if they aren’t 100%, they are still far better then any other band.
Saw them in concert at the Los Angeles Forum in 1973 when this song was one of their new songs, they played for over 4 hours 8-midnight and then an encore, fantastic concert
Jimmy and John Paul Jones met Robert plant at party ,and he brought in John Bonham and ginger baker from cream said their music would fly like an lead zeppelin hence the name
The greatest rock band of all time (500 million LP's, CD's and DVD's sold). I saw them live in LA in 1973 and the performance was absolutely hypnotic. I still get chills when I hear them 50 years later. I make it a point to play "Stairway" every day.
Three of them were session msicians in London and all of them worked with Donovan (ie. 'Sunshine Superman') I think they realized they had a groove together. Hooked up with Robert Plant and POW!
Hi ladies! Jere here. Love your reaction to Led Zepplin's 'Stairway to Heaven'. Lulu's 'Fashionista' hair comment was priceless. This is probably the most iconic rock ballad of all time; composed by one of the top rock bands of all time. And I agree, Jimmy Pages guitar rift is awesome! BTW, I love Lulu's cowboy, rodeo style belt buckle. I can picture her in a cowgirl hat roping those goats. Wouldn't that be a picture. Love you ladies! ❤😊👍😎
There are songs that you want to hear live and don't get the chance. For me Stairway to Heaven is one of those songs. Live videos are cool and all that but to be there and feel the groove would be so awesome. Green Grass and HIgh Tides is another one but I will get to see that one live soon. Thanks Ladies.
It's sad, in my opinion, that some not only take for granted but aren't even interested in the greatness of humanity at their fingertips. To each their own but it makes me sad. Glad you ladies are exploring 🍻
Led Zeppelin | Stairway To Heaven... Great live version and I knew you were going to like it. We all did. It is the studio version that I consider perfection and listen to. It was the 2nd Most requested song in history for decades at least until 2005 according to Casey Kasem. He did yearly top 100 countdown and Stairway to Heaven was never below #3. The #1 requested song was and still is .... Happy Birthday And BTW ... isn't Donna's birthday coming up? Happy Birthday Donna.
Nothing beats the original and this is the best version for me i have 4 versions of this , including the first time live version for the BBC with a limited audience
What a wonderfull reaction. Donna and Kathy, you both know, the Bandmembers in this time are all exhibs. You see it what they wearing, One thing at last, Donna, your outfit is phenomenal.
I was in the audience for this concert and have never forgotten it. In the UK in 1975 the top bands would play to audience of a few hundred, maybe 2,000 people, at the most. When Led Zeppelin announced they would play three nights at Earls Court, with a capacity of 15,000 per night, everyone thought they would be lucky to sell out one night. The first three shows sold out in 4 hours, and remember this was in the days when you had to go to a shop and buy your ticket! The band then added 2 more nights the following weekend and they also sold out. At the time no group in history had ever attracted such an audience in Britain. Each of the concerts went past three and a half hours in length, no support band, how could anyone support Led Zeppelin, with the final show just under four hours long.
I'm surprised only 150 plus, great band and song. Would love to see you three react to the band Crown Lands , two man band that sounds like 5 check em out doing Lady of the Lake live version you won't be disappointed. And for Lulu plenty of HAIR!!!!! Rock on girls
I'm 71 now but back in 1969 I used to be able to do the Robert Plant screams. If I tried it now I'd probably loose my false teeth. That was great music back then. I am glad that the younger generations can still enjoy it.
OhMyGosh!!! YAY YAY & YAY i am SO **Excited** for you 3 **Beautiful Beings** to be reacting to **MyBeloveedOtherWorldlyMagicalGeniusLedZeppelin** once again can not wait to see/hear your thoughts & feelings! k goin in now to watch!
"Stairway To Heaven" is more than THE anthem of the whole rock History. It's THE revelation at all. I gave them my soul when I was sixteen. And now they are not going to give it me back.
Robert Plant was a relatively unknown until Jimmy Paige invited him to an audition when he was forming a new band after The Yardbirds broke up. At that time The Yardbirds also had Eric Clapton, and John Bonham, who of course became the drummer for LZ.
My cousin can definitely shred. He gave me a couple of riffs for bass. I made simi pro. But the most fun I had was swapping bass licks 🎉with John Paul Jones. I did play a couple times with White Witch when their bassist was sick and couldn't play.
OH **Donna** i am right there with YOU watching you watch them & just how into it you were & the Delight on your face & the awe just ***Beautiful** & **Priceless** & i agree wholeheartedly with EVERYthing ya were sayin & yep ALL **CutieBabes** on top of just **MindBlowinglyOutOfThisWorldTalent** just **Beyond Magical** & course the **Great Hair** heh **LuvzYaALL** **PixieHugz**
Every one in that band was one of the best at their craft. When the drummer died they said it wouldn't be the same going on with someone else so they broke up. As well as the drummers son Jason has done on some reunions they still refuse to work on any new music. Saying it just wouldn't be the same.
Robert really liked to wear his girlfriend's top(s) on stage. Jimmy and John Paul were session musicians, Robert and John were younger and brought the Smiles!

Coolest dad ever.
From the live, 1973 Madison Square Garden concert, the songs, The Song Remains The Same immediately followed by The Rain Song will blow you away.
Think you'll fnd that was 55 years ago, not 45. Sorry!
@@charlesmarshall1309 It was 1979, so 45 years ago

I enjoyed that with you ladies but I have have to tell Lulu that she is so very pretty!
I got to see Led Zep live in the mid 70's......greatest concert I ever attended......RIP John "Bonzo" Bonham.......

I have this song on my memory stick in my car, it gets blasted every time it comes on.
The name Led Zeppelin used to evoke a sensation of wonder when I was a boy in the seventies. It used to and it still does. Electric Magic ✨
I saw them live 4 times from 68 to 72 im 71 still remember like it was yestersay luv you girls
I'm not sure if I like this better or the MSG 1973 version....but this was definitely very good. Thanks for the reaction, guys! 🎉
Glad you enjoyed it
All instruments no computer! Thanks for the video!
Lulu is SO right about the hair. We all had great hair in the 70s - not so much now... x
remember Hearts rendition..drummer John"s son Jason played drums

I enjoy the reactions ladies. If you jump down this Led Zeppelin rabbit hole, you all will be down there awhile. So, so many great songs.
Wish I seen them live in concert, closest I seen them live was in Song Reminds The Same movie 🎥🎤🎸🥁

What a wonderfull reaction. Donna and Kathy, you both know, the Bandmembers in this time are all exhibs. You see it what they wearing, One thing at last, Donna, your outfit is phenomenal.
Always nice to spend some time listening in with 3 nice ladies. I love the 6 and 12-string double-neck guitar. So iconic of Jimmy Page.

Robert plant is now teaming up with Allison Krause
For the second time. They toured together after their Raising Sand collaboration and again currently after Raise the Roof.
