The tension between men and women is way too high, A lot of healing to be done.
Too many people are living according to each others narratives or trends instead of living according to their own true values.

You guys were spot on when he talked about accessibility in the dating scene. Everyone can be connected with each other in the matter of seconds and so people think they have all these options and aren’t making genuine connections in fear of “losing out” on something better. People need to be clear with their intentions when it comes to dating and not be so ready to write someone off due to the standard media has put into place. The dating scene was needs more communication, which is crazy when we have access to all these form of communication!

Just because social media gives us access to more people doesn’t mean a damn thing.. the dating pool has pew in it 😩. These streets is trash and it’s hard to find value and someone with a mind and a vision for their life and what they want and don’t want to play games. Because there is more access a lot of men feel like they can have their hands in many pots and they don’t have to treat you with integrity because anything is acceptable to the next girl 🤷🏽‍♀️ and they have a lot to choose from.

It’s harder to decide when you’re someone’s choice or a stepping stone.
Marriage has also lost its sacredness. You can easy become a “starter wife/husband” because people aren’t looking to be a wife or husband, they want self-serving relationships where they maintain the control of its value and longevity.
Because honestly, they are looking to have certain lifestyles and they all realize that could take time and using lots of people to climb.
    Integrity and honor is gone.
    It’s about getting an image.
Social media adds pressure to have proof you’ve joined the exclusive club of “winning at life”
Relationships are the new cutthroat ladder to climb. Most of peoples relationships are “snacks” because their TV/Insta inspired ideal has not appeared yet.
In reality, lots of people are being hurt and hurting others, avoiding their own traumas and inner work, being very heartless and using others, and looking for what they can get.
No one is truly concerned with being a real husband or wife.

I came straight from the Spotify podcast just to send a message. I have watched/listened to y’all since s1e1 and you guys are awesome. BUT this specific podcast was just not conducive to the truth of women getting finessed over men. I’m engage and been in a relationship for 4 years now and I am very happy so I have to say that, due to what I’ll be saying be now. Women gain more in a relationship over a man. If a marriage comes from a relationship but IF divorce were to come then men are more in shambles then a women. Men lose half of everything they have and that’s best case scenario. And if you have children, regardless of the type of man you are, you lose that and more than half of whatever you have. The Netflix show became that because it is rare for that to happen, not because it happens often. Divorce rates are high and are largely happening due to women wanting to divorce. Y’all are great and I’m a huge fan. But y’all have amazing women in your life and that is awesome but they aren’t the average or a majority of people here in the dating world. And y’all are also not the average man in the dating world. That perspective can’t be overlooked.
    All respect and love
    Carlos R.

These guys may not have all of the answers (no one does btw) but they are well rounded and I can appreciate each of their perspectives on this topic. The fact that they understood they needed a woman's perspective says a lot ( to me anyway lol) especially in a climate where I feel a handful of popular male-hosted podcasts(at least the ones I've seen) aren't quite doing their selves nor viewers justice by lacking a broadened perspective on certain topics. Not to put anyone else down , just saying this podcast is definitely a breath of fresh air. #2cents
