I think Jalon does a good job with leading the conversations and making sure everybody stays on topic of the episode. He listens very well and bounces off everybody’s opinions. I think Omar plays the middle man . He’s good with his words and shares his wisdom very well. Almost always agreeable to me every time he speaks. He knows how to use his words. And Duke just the alpha male. It is what it is at all times. He ask the questions everybody thinks but don’t wanna say out loud. He makes you dig deeper. And he also always gives you both pov to every situation which is good when communicating. Overall, everybody plays their part but altogether the podcast is phenomenal! 👏🏾

I was hollering listening to this!! I am a millennial from Cali who has been married to my king for 9 years, I personally love this podcast because it’s the only podcast that I feel I can get a healthy and relevant POV that I feel would be close to my husband’s and others around me.
To the thirsty women in the comments, be respectful Sis. When you find your king and if he’s in the public eye you would want the same respect. These are real people in real relationships, not characters in your personal fantasy.

  • @theresalor

What all of you said was true.
    1. Women watch because they value the black male perspective.
    2. The POV is communicated in a palatable and respectful way.
    2. Ya'll are also attractive and easy on the eyes.
BUT none of yall are single. Yall are all taken and I personally don't desire taken men. Even if you were single, I don't know you. To want to be with someone you just see on social media (a personality) is crazy to me.

I watch the podcast because I do wanna know how men truly think and y’all have a mature output. It is a plus that you each are in relationships and promote it in a positive way. Most guy podcasts are toxic or not relatable to the female audience

I watch and listen because I admire the friendship, emotional intelligence, and accountability you guys display. It's not about appearances. It's refreshing to see men of color who practice self-love, emotional maturity, and respect for themselves and their partners.

I was 100% the person who said Jalon seems like a great partner LOL but it wasn’t me being fresh it was solely an observation. He’s so intelligent and gentle in the way that he speaks. He definitely seems to be able to see things from multiple perspectives and doesn’t necessarily just rigidly stick to his POV
We stan Omar because he’s beautiful and calm!!
We stan Duke because hes so confident & disciplined!
No dry flirting just giving flowers 💐 ❤🔥

I need y'all to bring back Dem The Rules 👏🏾Duke also hit all cylinders when he spoke about why women watched/listen to the podcast. Women definitely dry flirt in the comments and say certain things, hoping to tempt you guys if we keeping it a stack. And Jalon definitely big up his boys, which I respect. I would definitely think Jalon plays middle man more than Omar. Omar, objectively, I think isn't as honest when speaking. Especially on the episode where you all spoke about dating interracially. Jalon asked O questions to which appeared uncomfortable questions, and he didn't know how to answer.

This had me crying 😂😂😂. I can relate to Jalon when he said he never seen a girl in a healthy relationship and said “I want her” . Most women think like this. I don’t get it and I am a woman . It is a breath of fresh air to see a healthy dynamic and perspective provided by young black men . I like to hear men perspective in addition to women , especially without bashing but also holding women / men accountable. These days there’s a lot of garbage content. I love to see content that honor discipline friendships , marriage and family. Best wishes to you all and keep providing that 🔥.

As a woman in a long term relationship I listen/ watch the podcast because I love gaining insight of men’s perspectives and implement what i learn in my own relationship sometimes and I love to see y’all dynamic with each other because it’s refreshing to see young black men getting along with conversations of substance and not bashing women. Y’all being in committed relationships is a plus because I don’t think the black community speaks enough about the nuances of relationships in general.

I watch bc I appreciate the what you all bring to the male perspective and it seems you all have a very balanced view, which cannot be said for some of these other male podcasts. Women want to learn & understanding men so we can be better wives, & we didn’t all grow up around healthy male figures, so these podcast are kind of all that we have. But it helps that you are all attractive for sure, which I think is an underlying reason - it shows that men who have emotionally intelligent and both handsome still exist in the space & you all speak very well of your partners.
