I also live in Las Vegas and I' ve owned a Sur Ron Light Bee for well over a year. I ride it almost every day. It's as reliable as any battery powered electric power tool. On a warm summer night it's magic. I converted to belt drive but I'll go back to chain drive so that I can change drive ratio. The only complaint I have with the Sur Ron Light Bee is the seat. It's too thin and a bit uncomfortable after about 45 mins of riding. I'll find a thick padded bike seat to replace it. Otherwise the Sur Ron Light Bee is a blast! Fun to ride, ready to ride every day.

Another "let me off now" bike ride.. LOL looks great and glad you are indulging your big boy toys. I was surprised at the nice bike path in your area, paved, striped and I think I seen maybe some facilities on that path? Nice definitely in a different league... "Beverly Hills is down the hill"..
Great choice. I've had a NIO electric bike for 4 years and it is perfect for urban commuting but it tops out at about 24 mph. The battery is about 10 lbs and has a range with my weight of about 20 miles. The problem is that it weighs aver 100 lbs so I cant really get it on the top of my vehicle. I'm looking forward to see where you decide to mount it and how you will try to prevent theft. Most of these chargers will work on 220V so I suggest a 220v inverter to run your charger while you drive and a front mounted carrier for the Toyota and the Explorer.

Hey X S . Hope your having fun with your E Bike . Vehicle update. I just picked up a 2020 Infiniti QX 60 yesterday. Once I get the hang of all the buttons ect , going to slowly implement some of your ideas for the inside.

That bike will complement the urbanlander 4Runner build well. Perfect for ‘last mile’ off-road or dirt road exploration.

I'm curious why you would build a 4Runner camper, when you already own the explorer van camper, or do you plan to get rid of the van once the 4Runner is finished? Please direct me if you've already discussed this in a previous video, I've only watched about 9 of your videos so far.

I see u have an RV (intro), and seeing as I'm about to start my own build using a luton Transit, I was wondering if u have done any off grid charging of ur Sur-ron using solar? The idea of getting an E-Bike rapidly escalated in to wanting a Sur-ron (lol) so was wondering if this is feasible. I will have 1200w (minimum) and was wondering if u had any knowledge in this area, or even just some advise u could offer? Thanks in advance.

I imagine it shipped as a class 3 ebike: pedal assisted 28mph and 20mph unassisted. So, when you set it up in dirt mode, it is only legal off-road.

Wow... so cool Steve.. I was looking really serious for one of these awhile ago. But never pulled the trigger.. Would love to meet you somewhere and try it for a minute. If your comfortable, you can ride my dirtbike as well. I know a great spot that would be ideal for the sur ron.
But please be sure to buy some protective gear.. That thing is fast.. I've been using a Fox body armor for years.. Love it.. Covers pretty much whole upper body.
I agree and am looking for some protective gear. Falling hurts and can hurt for a long time. I would meet. You're one of the few I would let loose on it.

What's the mileage run time for a mix of flat and hills? Do you need to license it? Have a motorcycle endorsement? I am asking because I can't get sound on the video - I think the sound card is bad on my desktop.
There is a link to the manufacturer in the description with all the answers. Too many variables to answer the mileage questions.
That bike is insane. Steve, any concerns about registration/ licensing for use on and off the roads? I don’t see many bikes in the Henderson area where we live, and are unfamiliar with the rules.
I have no concerns at the moment.

I bought an electric scooter 2 years ago and liked it so much i bought an electric bike. I like the electric bike so much i bought another electric bike. I liked it so much i purchased an electric car. I like it so much now i want an electric Class B RV. I cannot wait. Will it be the electric VW van, or maybe the Tesla Truck with a RV camper on it. Whatever it is, it is going to have a LOT of solar panels on the roof (and maybe the sides)!

Whats the deal with the law regarding the Sur Ron around here? are you going to register it as a moped or just ghost pedal when you see cops and pass it off as an electric bike? Awesome first impression video man. Will get mine eventually.
I don't know. If you find out, let me know. Passed several cops. Don.'t seem to care. This is smaller than most people think. Smaller than a regular mountain bike you might find at Walmart. doesn't attract attention.
