    Nice bicycle. Nice helmet. I have used full face helmets since 1974. Evel Knievel's Caesar's Palace crash convinced me. I currently use a flip front helmet and I have no regrets. Yes, if you use too much front brake on a loose surface, you will do the "Whoopslam". Yes, that's one word.

    Good choice and good idead, Steve👍. My daughter and her husband bought 2 bikes liked yours. It's made in Germany. My grandson( 13 years old)can ride on it with his younger brother ( 7)behind.They took to travel behind their camper van for last year .Hope you have a lot of fun with it.Chaised a rabbit and caught a frog.😆😃Enjoying your new toy😉.Best wishes to you and your children .

    I find this review very funny/awkward as I used to live in Las Vegas for three years in the 90's and moved away as I felt I had become thick skinned and I no longer felt too much empathy towards people as I worked as a BJ/roulette dealer in a casino.
    I was so happy after I moved away as I felt my heart soften towards my fellow human being but watching this video I can't help fall back in love with the open quiet desolation of the desert and feel a pang of remorse for leaving. 🌵

    Your visibility was much better than ours was in western Washington. The rains are back, so the air quality index is back in the 40's, whereas it was 160 a week ago. I couldn't see to the end of my 500 foot driveway when the smoke was at its worst. That E-bike looked fantastic!!!

    FYI the Scorpion helmet went back. Got home and tried it on the street. Peripheral vision is not good with my anatomy. Neither is looking at the side view mirror at a glance. It has great reviews however and not every helmet is right for everyone. Go to a shop and try and test many until you find the "one.". check for pressure points and if you can see your mirrors at a glance of the eyes not a turning of the head. Same with the instruments. Check for peripheral obstruction. Vision is key. Stay safe.

Love riding my Dirt bikes up and down the street on the 4th of July and doing wheelies and going wild with friends while we shoot roman candles at each other and overall cause a disturbance lol my Wife hates it…. its like the one day of the year where the neighbors are fairly cool and dont call the cops on us….

    Hey Steve, Floyd Lamb Park is a nice place. I hear all the rabbits on the grounds are gone. The Peacocks? My 88 year young brother and his wife walk there and picnic twice a week. Hey, no swearing as the bike tipped over and no swearing detected, nice save. Interesting the charge connection is a balanced audio XLR plug. The helmet looks like you're ready for a trip to Portland. The flat top of the frame and seat shape remind me of my good old Bonanza mini bike. Linking the Bluetooth GOPRO to display on the cell phone sure is a neat feature. 60? I didn't realize you were such a baby... I'm going to email this video to my brother, this bike would be perfect for them. Take care...

I have a Rad Mini; it folds up and fits in a space I’ve provided/designed in my 2017 GMC Savanna 2500 van. If it ever rains while I’m out and about; my Rad Mini will be protected. Also, take a look at the REI Flexlite Boss; it’s a little bigger than the regular Flexlite but MUCH more comfortable... and packs pretty much the same. Great video keep up the great work!

    I have one of these and I love it. I’ve put about 1,100 miles on it in the last year. So much fun! One thing I had to do ultimately was install a tire liner on the rear tire. I had too many punctures and it’s not fun to change the rear tire tube at all. So far, the tuffy liner has done a great job. Barring that, make sure you’re carrying a tube and a 8mm (I think) open socket.

    • @mikewilson0
      @mikewilson0 3 роки тому

      Also, it’s even less fun to try to walk that heavy bike back to somewhere to repair with a flat tire. It looks like they’ve made a few nice upgrades (the seat looks reinforced for example) so maybe that’s a different tire or you just generally won’t have a problem with flats, but I’d recommend being prepared nonetheless.

    Nice! I am converting a 2010 ford transit connect into a little camper/Adventure van, 15 gallons of water, 200 amps of LiFePO4 battery(still in a box I have to assemble it) eventually a little 12 volt compressor fridge, just haven't gotten that far. I am disabled, at work a metal stair collapsed under me trashing my back. I was always into camping, but the packing the vehicle, unpacking setting up the tents and awning is just too much for me now, I can roll in, drop down a 9x12 mat set my 8x8 awning up, Pull out the ebike and I am ready to go. I am waiting on my 52v 23 amp battery and the charger that allows you to charge to 90% or 100%. I am going the don't fully charge and don't drain the battery below 10% to see if it increases the amount of recharge cycles. I have a Montague Paratrooper, I like the bike, 26" tires, rugged folding mountain bike is going to be the "donor" bike. Probably going to cap the speed at 20mph, most of my peddling is at 8-12mph and going slower under throttle increases range (or so they say lol) My battery should be here in 2 weeks so I guess I will find out eventually. I want the ebike for off road exploring, just want to see more of nature. I am 53, and the back thing has definetly slowed me down a bit, so I think the ebike will be a plus.

      I agree. I understand they come only in one size. So, how does a tall person, 6'3" fit on this bike with no saddle adjustment? With bikes, one size does not fit all.

    I'd be interested to hear how you lock up the bike (to the outside of your 4Runner??) when you are sleeping, & also when you're eating at a diner?

    Awesome vlog. Like the banana seat, it brings back memories. Oh, and how do you avoid helmet head? I take off a helmet and I look like one of the Young brothers on an AC/DC album. Will start looking for a good van to equip for travel after the Texas heat subsides.

    A lot of people are getting their bikes stolen off of their vehicles. Make sure you use some heavy duty type security. Those bikes are expensive. Cool looking bike man looks like fun.
