    Thanks for the suggestion! Well just a question; so, i am a playmaker type, i have at least good dribbling skills and handles also accurate pass. Unfortunately, i'm not a good shooter with a slow release also not quite a finisher because my vertical isn't that high as because of that, sometimes if i didn't have good teammates to play as a teamwork then i'd less active and less beneficial to offensive plays since i only capable of supporting/assisting not scoring. It dazzles me when i practice, do i have to leave the dribbling drills like i used to and started to focus on shooting/finishing? What confuse me is when i do both of them.

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  5 років тому +5

      I suggest you start focusing on your shooting. Basketball has evolved a lot in the Steph Curry era, and backcourt players must be able to score.

      The video basically said that you need to be GREAT at one thing, and build everything around it. So I might suggest that you master and be great at one thing for example shooting, then build everything around it, like creating space yourself with dibbling, reading the floor without the ball, and even some counters. Just my thoughts though. Good luck!

    I don’t fuck with that Kyle Korver thought process at all. I think a boost in dribbling, finishing at the basket, and passing would only make his game WAY better. Instead he decides to be one dimensional and predictable because all he can do is shoot. That’s why Steph Curry is so lethal. He can shoot the 3, make a pass, drive. If Steph Curry only practiced shooting like Kyle Korver he’d probly be the exact player Korver is

      @Zhong Tiger Not true my good man. “The person who controls the rebounds, controls the game.” Being good in rebounding the ball can give your team more opportunities to shoot while you also able to lessen your opposing team to score. Because being skilled in rebound can give your team more possessions in the ball which means a more chance for your team to score.
