@@DeepGameBasketball question what education do I need to be in NBA college or if I go in military and get some playing experience and do you guys take 22 yr old
@@DeepGameBasketball my name is Tony smith
Agreed. Develop and master 2-3 moves/counters to go with what your great at and you can become pretty much unstoppable. Makes the game easy.
Absolutely!
Hesis, Floaters, between the legs! Add In and out, spin moves, pull ups and more
@@zzz.tyronejust doing those and avareging 22 points so simple
Love it. Gotta be really great at one skill to stand out. Specializing as a sniper, slasher, or play-maker. 🔥
Absolutely!! Thanks for watching!
Some of the best content on UA-cam! Love Drew Hanlen!
Thanks.

Do this (No matter what) 🙏 😀
Lol, for me it is missing open layups😂😂😍😂😍
Then be great at that ❤
Just slow down when your doing a layup I did the same thing but just slow it down when your ab to lay it up
@@HoneyNutHijoles so inspirational
True
I am about to improve my passing and playmaking stuff
Thank you so much for all of these videos!
Thank you coach for the great advise
Simple message but definitely necessarily. I can get around people and finish through contact, however I know I can literally rely solely on my jumper if I want or need to.
Thank you for the feedback and insight. Knowing your game is critical and for some reason, it's not talked about much.

This is a motivational speech thanks

Strengths: Mid Range, Driving, Tough Finishes, Steals, On Ball D, Blocks, Ball Handling.
Weaknesses: 3PT Shooting, Passing, Getting past screens.
I'm a 5'2 SG/PG, 85LBS, and I'm 11 years old. I practice 3 maybe 4 hours a day on my craft. Improving my weaknesses. Keeping everything consistent. I average 27 points a game and 2 steals a game. I have 2 championships and 2 Finals MVP's. I won 2 League Tournament MVP's. My name is Ziad Eissa. Remember me. I think I will be in the 2030 draft (after 4 yrs of college).
Ok man
Damn ur 11 and already getting tournaments here in Guyana they don't give a shit about ur dreams 😒😒
You a 2-Way Inside the Arc Scorer
Man thank you so much
you should guys should post point guard foot work
Thank you!!!!
Thanks for the suggestion! Well just a question; so, i am a playmaker type, i have at least good dribbling skills and handles also accurate pass. Unfortunately, i'm not a good shooter with a slow release also not quite a finisher because my vertical isn't that high as because of that, sometimes if i didn't have good teammates to play as a teamwork then i'd less active and less beneficial to offensive plays since i only capable of supporting/assisting not scoring. It dazzles me when i practice, do i have to leave the dribbling drills like i used to and started to focus on shooting/finishing? What confuse me is when i do both of them.
I suggest you start focusing on your shooting. Basketball has evolved a lot in the Steph Curry era, and backcourt players must be able to score.
Continue to sharpen your handle and play lockdown D while you develop your jumper.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Thanks Coach this helped💯🤝
You're welcome.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Great insighs! I think I would have to break this up into defense & on offense. Defense: Great on ball defender. Offense: Great Shooter off the screen.
Right. However, being great on defense is mainly about effort and conditioning, not so much about natural talent.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
TRY TO MASTER EVERYTHING YOU DO. GOD LEVEL SHT. NO LIMTS. YOUR BOUND TO BE GREAT AT NOT JUST ONE OR MORE BUT MAYBE ALL ELEMENTS 💎
Youth Splrts Specialization is associated with injuries. I agree that focus on some aspects of a sport or game will have a lot of advantages. But there are other advantages of having a sports experience who makes positive transfers, adaptations to diferent enviroments... Its all about balance.
What do I do if my friends say “if you leave the team it will be an upgrade” what type of skills should I train because I am a shooting guard.
Great Video
Thanks.

Wow man that was a great guide

5’6 165 , My strength is shooting & floaters, I’m pretty strong & fast, just tryna work on dribbling , & finishing , any tips ??
I know this is a late reply but your comment is exactly what this video is saying not to do. Yeah you can work on everything, but at your height you should work on being a lights out shooter. Then build from there.
I can call pick really well
good work
Shooting and scoring. In one whole season I shot 50% from three.
I'm 35 years old. I'd say I'm an average 3 point and jump shooter but I've always had trouble with handling the ball under pressure and finishing with contact at the rim. Should i just focus on shooting just to make my game simple?
Become good at one thing really good until it becomes a natural then do the same to the other skills
Any tips ?
I'm really athletic so i can get to the basket. That's my strength. What are 2/3 moves and counter moves to go with that?
Search our channel, we have numerous videos on the topic you're looking for.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Focus on passing out of the post and shooting, it would open up space for you and your teammates
how can i know when to drive. i have a good jump shot that i probably use too much but i can finish. i can usually finish against the best defenders on my team but i just never know when to drive
I'm an all-arounder so I just try to work hard on each aspect I'm tall, strong, fast and athletic so that's where I get slashing, dunking, floaters and layups my height gives me an advantage on shooting and my accuracy is pretty high my height, long arms, speed and jumping abilities helps me with defense I can dribble like a pro my accuracy makes me a good passer, I can make plays and I have a high IQ I'm an all-arounder
I'm Indian BTW 😅
i really love playing basketball bro but i still want to learn more my father really help me but i need your help too this video helped me thank you please continue 🙏
I would say im good at shooting and handles and thats what i will work on the most
1-3 our standing losing streak i need this

Thx for everything
Love it
And what if I dont know what im good at?

Happy that I KNOW I can be a great shooter!❤️
Thank you☝🏾.
You're welcome.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
So basically practice what you are good at, and stick to that
I don’t get it,everyone knows I am a finisher so no one guards me at 3pt line so it gets tuff to drive in
My thing shooting
Soon I want to be a great basketball player
Is it better to master one skill and work around it or work on multiple skills at once?
The video basically said that you need to be GREAT at one thing, and build everything around it. So I might suggest that you master and be great at one thing for example shooting, then build everything around it, like creating space yourself with dibbling, reading the floor without the ball, and even some counters. Just my thoughts though. Good luck!
@@deleted1559 Cool thanks

Good role player advice
Mike The Human it’s really the nicest way of saying not everybody can be an all star level player but anyone can master a skill. And if you’re pretty good then doing this method can create a foundation to expand your game. I’m glad at how young he’s telling these kids. Definitely a good coach
I've got tryouts today wish me luck
SawceNextDoor good luck, hope you make it🔥
Go get em!! Be confident.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
SawceNextDoor did U make it?
Did u make it?
My problem is read the court and dribbling i can only shoot i mean fr only shoot
For me it would be to create my own shot
I really wanna play basketball but im struugling with anxiety 😢
Go for it.

Im really good in breaking jaws
what if im great at shooting but wsnt to get better at finshing
My main strength is rebounding. I play center but I'm also a 45% three point shooter.
so you kinda shoot better than curry?
@@berksezer4751 yeah actually lol
brook lopez
@@berksezer4751 45% makes sense since he's not being guarded by nba players. Cmon.
@@daffabarin8664 ikr, I was being sarcastic smh
I like to be good at shooting and slashing I want them to guard me so. Will be impossible Ican go right through them
I am good at trying the ball over. 👍
I am good at passing and shooting
Problem with this for me is I am 5’4 guard who is good at driving and post up
What would sga be
mid range
You know you fucked up when you gotta pay for a ball camp to learn somthn while others can get the same info on yt for free! 😂
I'm great at handling the ball...
Nice. Now work on your shot. In today's game, backcourt players must be able to score.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
I don’t fuck with that Kyle Korver thought process at all. I think a boost in dribbling, finishing at the basket, and passing would only make his game WAY better. Instead he decides to be one dimensional and predictable because all he can do is shoot. That’s why Steph Curry is so lethal. He can shoot the 3, make a pass, drive. If Steph Curry only practiced shooting like Kyle Korver he’d probly be the exact player Korver is
GOD bless
You had me until you said, best player in the World!😂
Mine defense and shooting
i asked my father what im goog at when you see me playing he told me nothing :( lol
what can i do ?
just because a had bad a series of bad games
Mine is handles. I need work on my shot😪
James same my guy
I'm good at slashing
I'm great at rebounding and soso at everything else but rebounding isn't that important 😔
Look up Dennis Rodman rebounding, thats basically all he did and he was the best at it.
@Zhong Tiger Not true my good man. “The person who controls the rebounds, controls the game.” Being good in rebounding the ball can give your team more opportunities to shoot while you also able to lessen your opposing team to score. Because being skilled in rebound can give your team more possessions in the ball which means a more chance for your team to score.
Can u do a video how to be good in creating your shots. Im 5 feet 8 inches and I have a slow release. I checked every shooting vid but they did not help much. I practiced ur technique for4 months but nothing changed. I am usually the leader and I am more ball dominant to be effective. Also I love passing the ball but I can not shoot over people who r taller then me and I have a really slow release. I looked all over the Internet. Pleasssssssse help me.
May be obvious but try and set your feet faster than before
@@JohnDoe-tq1lj HOW? sometimes I have dribble and shoot by myself if my teammates are cold. Also how about my release it take 4 to 5 seconds to me to release the ball good, by that time the defender catches up and guards me again. Which gets annoying.
@@RDB0199118 I srat with squared up feer to the net and I release is slower because then my aim is off
@Matthew Liapich I have a range of 25 feet in shooting I know I have to improve it, but I tried that method anyways like 3 months ago and it did not help
@Matthew Liapich Thanks for the advice anyways. Thank u

EGTBasketball haha
But I want to be great at everything that’s my dream b ball for life 💯
Why can’t you be good at more than one thing great speech just a bit one dimensional
You missed the point a bit. The message is not to be good or just okay at many things but first, be great at one then grow from there.
