Thanks coach. There were some helpful things to do❤
thanks i was working on this wrist thing exactly on the court just now, it is difficult to adjust, but when you manage to release properly, my shot feels much more powerful and effortless
Exactly right fam 🤝
5:00 was the key for me, thankyou! I saw curry’s wrist in slow motion and was wondering for months. That help a lot
I’ve broke my 3 middle right fingers about 2 months ago now, I love the sport of basketball too much for me to just sit down and watch everyone progress so I began a journey to learn how to transition everything I learnt from right to the left.
That also includes shooting too.😊
@@co2447 good job man its really hard to do left if your a rightie
salute keep working hard 💪🏾
Good luck man, and i hope you can do it
Would wrapping your fingers prevent injury?
Excellent trainer with lots of details .
Thank you so much .

Great video! 👍
Wow. Thanks coach. Really clear and informative
Glad it was helpful!
Nice breakdown! Super-easy to implement! Do you have any recommendations when it comes to focusing on the rim? Back? Front? Backboard? None of the above?
Thank you coach

hello coach i like your videos .... i am good at midrange i have thumb flick from any where as stephen curry and trae young ..i have a back spin rotation but i think my shot is tough ...how can i make smoother and get higher arc and stop shoulder tense...and if also you can make video in how to make a thumb flick with palm rotation..please reply me
Can we form shoot without a hoop as well? Or will that not have the same effect as with a hoop to build up that muscle memory
kids are lucky these days to get this level of information so easily 💪🏻
Helped with my jumpshot thanks alot
Trust your work! So important! My percentage instantly improves when I stop analyzing every inch of the shot!
Word
Most times it’s really just 1 or two things that needs fixing and in most cases it’s just your balance
always thought thumb flick meant on shooting hand until i realized it was on the guide hand. I realized i tried not flicking my shootng hand thumb while the whole time my guide hand was perfect
Hey uhh I have a question I have a problem where I make my shots and from my pov it looks like Im shooting fine but when I watched a vid of me I shoot/release with 1 hand. U think u know what my problem is?
guys he’s not lying this is a very helpful vid but one of my tips for the finger release is the middle finger in my opinion and make sure every finger on the release is going into your middle finger
Thanks Bro for your amazing tips.
You're welcome! Have a great weekend 💪
Pause
If I have a hitch in my shot which I’ve had for years what advice do have for me.
That is my issue dropping the guide hand too early and my shots not going in cause my body is twisting and forcing a one-handed shots
hey coach i have problem where my shoot hand flicks to the side inside of shooting it down
good
Best regards. 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
my problem is that i can't shoot from the three point line while from midrange I'm really good. Is it because I'm lacking strength in my legs or is it because of this mistakes?
OMG!! It worked it made me feel i have Stephen Curry on my hand...
W vid
The bonus tip is a gamechanger. I already had a pretty good form, und i always was overthinking my technik. Since i stoped overthinking i started making more and more shots. Greate vid, keep it up
hey coach elbow in or out which is better so i cant find my stable form
It’s mainly what you’re comfortable with bro, there’s no proper perfect form. You can have an abysmal form and still make all your shots.
@@that_guy55 thanks
Hey pls reply,,if I dont use thumb flick I can't get my ball to reach the ring...my range sucks
Just practice shooting as far as you can. Your range will naturally increase
@@desnatis oh ok thanks
don't listen to this youtuber. Ray Allen is a thumb flicker and i know a lot of shooters who are thumb flickers.
ngl you re speaking facts as a 15 yr old player who built like klay thomspon in height and wingspan ur said everything im tryna figure out and tryna teach myself cus yk how it is though i dont have a problem with it anymore the coaches arnt gonna teach their very tall players how to shoot but my main problem is using my guide hand to guide ill just put the ball up and once ima release i let the guide hand stay in place it doesnt go with the release and i gotta get the arc and stay on gravitational centering cus i have a imaculate form its just sometimes i also think too muh about having everything right yk but thanks this will def help
Damn, feed knows what i did (airballs🤣)
Bro just flipped us off Jk all respect my man

coach i struggle to shoot with a rhythm i want my leg straight by the time the ball reaches the setpoint..can u make a video on it
Hey , i Saw a video to Fix youre rhythm , u can take a chair sit on It and shoot while getting UP of the chair , remember to do these close to the basket like 4 feet , If you dont have a chair then you Go free trow Line, and deep the ball at youre knee level, and then you get Up shooting as fast as you can , these Tips are to improve youre smoothness in youre realease, Hope these Help .
Curry definitely flicks the ball with his guide hand thumb. So did Larry Bird and Chuck Person. Of course not as bad as Noah or something like that.
You’re neither of them players🤡
@@tdgflacko5554 yeah. Are you?
@@tdgflacko5554clown ass response
A thumb flick works perfect if you move your dominant hand to the side a little bit: so the thumb flick keeps the ball rotating correctly and going straight
I have a thumb flick as well, do you know any ways I can still get my shot consistent with it?
