Hey, everyone! A bit of a sad story this time around. Has anyone else ever chased a buck only for something like this to happen?
I have trail camera pictures of baby baby G and the last photo was the very end of September in 2018.
No, I don't wait around for something like this to happen. I won't hesitate when a shooter steps in front of me. Can't be too picky.
This is the sad part of giving them one more year. Even sucks worse when you find your monster deer laying on the side of the road.
It's definitely not how you want to find them... Hopefully we won't have any of that this season!

That sucks to find your target bucks have past. But getting their locked antlers is pretty amazing. Awesome story 👍

Rewatching the heartbreakers series. Baby Baby G crosses my mind more than I’d like to admit and he wasn’t even “my” deer. Of course you never know what could happen but he had all time record potential imo.

Glad ya found em period here we having nothing like that and never will but we have shooters disappear all time with out a trace hate when they vanish so many hunters and outlaws most of the time here they are dead
there was this buck that i got on trail cam in front of my house and i got pictures of him for a good 2 years then we were hunting one day and a guy said he killed a good buck and wanted us to help him find it.So we found him and it was the one i had on trail cam for 2 years i was glad i got my hands on him but i was sad i didnt kill him

Exacly, that why i hate ranch "hunts" they say a giant buck is small or not mature, but here, you see that hes down

Lesson: Take mature bucks when you have the chance at 3.5 years old or older. Giving them another year when they are already proclaimed “giants” could always be their last.
I know if it is a giant put it down I mean they should not have let them pass
You couldn't have said it better. Nature has were it creates something beautiful and destroy it like that. Its amazing how us hunters only understand so little.
Yep. Too true. We constantly try to learn and prepare as much as we can from season to season, but mother nature has the final word at the end of the day.

Good video that was heartbreaking I know what that’s like.one of our bucks hurt it’s leg and we found him at the end of deer season

I got a buck like baby baby g , I was in the stand and he came up right underneath us and we thought he was a four pointer till he was close , I was shaking and I shot a dropped him, and we called him photoshopped because we had him on camera but didn’t look real, and turns out I got that 11 pointer at age 11

Too narrow to be legal in my county. I understand the need for antler restrictions but there should be a waiver to get these narrow racks out of the gene pool. Going to end up with nothing but tight/tall racks because we cant kill them and they pass that DNA on down the line. That being said, I have seen so many more mature bucks this year compared to previous years. Makes the hunt so much more interesting.

That is why you don't let big deer pass even if they are not completely mutare
thats why i use a gun...i couldnt handle seeing deer that size and not being able to get them in bow range and then to find such a heart breaking sight of them dead locked together....that's so sad to see them end up like that...hopefully they had lots of doe's pregnant...lol

7:35 there’s no way you killed that deer you shot it in the leg
He hit the atoric artery and that deer didn’t go far
There was a mess up with the arrow on the bow, and he hit a main artery

This story is a terrible outcome and it reminds me of a deer I spent two years hunting only to have it hit by a car in front of my house it sucks when these things happen
