Man, when he was standing there staring towards the blind taking his last few breaths, such conflicting feelings we have as hunters and humans that genuinely love these animals. RIP Batman, congratulations Terry on a great buck.

Nailed it. Cell cameras have gotten us so connected with these deer it almost makes me stop using them. It’s hard not to use them, but makes me miss the days of not having a clue what was in the area. Never had the guilt feeling back then.

Deer here in NC dont walk like deer there or at least like that buck. He walked around that cornfield like he was the man.
Pranced , put on a show , hoping any competition would be intimidated and the girls smitten. I stopped deer hunting years ago but still like watching a big buck hunted fairly. Too much jealousy and too many rogue hunters here. Mostly I just tired of killing but support hunting.
Awesome buck. He knew it too.

That caliber of deer for me is only a dream, a 140 would be a giant to me. I've hunted for 29 yrs and never even killed a 125 . The Drury bros. definitely have the location, food and experience to know how to kill big bucks. I still keep goin hoping one day the buck of my dreams shows up. Congrats on a great buck.

I think they are out of stock. We use pillow cases or heavy black material. Put Velcro on it and then just attach to the carpet inside the blind.

I would love for you guys to take your skills to public land... I am very confident out of the 2 of you one of you could tag a Booner! I just think that could very easily reliant that fire that I know burns inside you guys! Maybe it's just a pipe dream but I think it would be pretty cool!

Terry you almost need to start hunting something else. I’ve been watching you and Mark for 20 years I guess. You put down Bat Man a 190” deer. I think you said how neat was that. Not shaking or hyperventilating or anything. Just how neat was that. Lmao!!! I would’ve lost it. Here in Maine that’s a one in a lifetime deer. Love what you guys have been doing forever it seems now. Congrats

Yup, i know he’s jacked up, but when ya kill monster after monster for decades and it literally becomes a job your reaction isn’t the same. It’s the consummate professional reaction. Kill big deer, effortlessly thank the folks paying ya to live your dream without skipping a beat. He really is a Pro, and I respect the hell outta em for all the years of work and dedication. Another bad azzzz deer 💪.

I saw a big old beautiful 8 point buck once, but I couldn't kill it. It was with a baby and a doe and looked like he was watching out for them, making they sure they get to where they're going safely. There's hunting, and there's murder. That felt like murder lol.
But I'll tell you what, not killing it was harder than killing it would've been. When you're out there all day and get in that frame of mind, you'll kill just about anything that moves. But at least I can live with myself now

Great shot on a great deer! I noticed in your footage of him last year he had a lump on the right side of his face below his ear. Before you shot him, it appeared there was a small defect on the right side of his face. Do you suppose that just popped and drained on its own?

U boys hunting prime real estate and high fence. Last two yrs I’ve killed bucks bigger then this on public land in Tn. Takes leg work. With a cheap cab wolf muzzleloader old school real tree and stalking. Nothing fancy. I’m saying this for reg hunters. It do t have to be fancy to work.
