That's a great set of recommendations, if a mite peat-heavy. I've now seen several of your videos and like your take and your mode of presentation. Do you ever intend to reveal who your are, or do you intend to continue as 'Anonymous'?
Pricing on the reviewer’s area is interesting to me. Talisker 18 year is $130 but in mine it is $160 of you’re lucky. Now the younger bottles are more expensive. He had Arran 10 year at $50+ but in my area they were $41. This bottle was a good one at $50 for a Scotch enthusiast. Benromach 10 year but alas it is now $56 to $68 in my area. Edradour 10 year for a sherry lover is a good one at $55. Really enjoyed this list.
Absolutely agree on the Laph QC vs 10. Was ready to give up on Laph as a whole after trying Select and regular 10 (we even get the poor mans 40 abv one), but the CS and especially QC really revitalised my love and interest in the brand. Great list overall!
On your recommendation, I tried the Monkey Shoulder from the "below $50" category. Now, I usually prefer the Isla whiskies with a heavy smoky flavor that are peated but I have to say...this was really good for this price point! Definitely getting a bottle for my brother-in-law for Christmas. (he's a bourbon lover I plan to convert to scotch) Great recommendation WW!
I absolutely love the Balvenie Caribbean Cask! It is starting to get difficult to find though. I typically prefer a sweeter Scotch whereas my husband enjoys the more peated variety. Would love to see you do a video based strictly on the more sweet varieties of Scotch if you ever get the chance. Love this channel!

If anyone is gift shopping for me, I'll take a Bruichladdich Black Art. Please and thank you! 😂

It's a real game changer. Thanks!
Great list👏👏
Thanks!
Very helpful
Glad it helped
Nice list!
Thanks!
Good content sir. The audio volume seems a little low on this video though…
Actually the sound effects (cash register) are loud so it’s only your voice that’s low.

I would highly recommend Naked (aka Naked Grouse). another blended malt primarily composed of Macallan yet still in the $30 to $40 range.
@@bdwilcox appreciate the recommendation. Will definitely give it a try!
I could listen to this all day. Really curious what the $10K price range recommendation would be.

Thanks! Some upcoming reviews of rum-finished and sherry-matured whiskies are coming soon.
You forgot Macallan 18. Easiest the best whisky in the world.
