UNCLE TOM'S CABIN IS A ROCKIN SONG BY WARRENT
That would be an awesome song for them to hear.
YESSSSS
Do this!
Absolutely
Definitely and with a completely different vibe to it too
Cherry Pie is a classic. My dad always resented it though because it became the one song people remembered him by when he had others he put a lot more effort into... thanks for keeping his legacy alive :)
😮wow it really is you’re dad wild
So sorry for your loss. Gone way too young
Wow that's awsome
Your dad was such an amazing talent. I wish he really knew how much so many of us appreciated his music. Love his Back Down to One album. Not a filler track on any album he ever did. Have every one downloaded on my phone.
It's a fun song and catchy; but he wrote some great songs such as I saw Red, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Down Boys, etc.
Play “UncleTom’s Cabin.” It’s one of their best songs.
Truth. 🔥🤘😎
It is THE best Warrant song. Saw Warrant in concert back in the early 90's with Trixter and Firehouse
@@TwistedSaint6 omgawds that had to be awesome!!!! 🔥🤘😎
YES! It SOOOOO GOOD! Also Machine Gun.
@@lisaheathcock7924 it was. I was probably 13-14 years old and I got literally inches from Jani when he came out into the crowd
Warrant “Uncle Tom’s cabin “ is the hardest rock song by them to me, you can’t help but Love it. Always been my favorite, it’s like a mini movie. You guys will definitely like it!
They did a cover of Blackfoot’s “Train Train” that was pretty roasty.
LOVE Uncle Toms Cabin! Dog eat dog is a lot heavier too
They did some harder songs on Dog Eat Dog and Ultraphobic. Dog Eat Dog is their best imo, aside from "Inside Out" which is probably their heaviest but also kinda stupid. It feels more like a parody.
LOVE uncle toms cabin. But the hardest might be Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking rich or Down boys?
Uncle Tom's cabin by far the best song they have
Is Saturday now Hair Metal Day?? If so, I APPROVE. Warrant was right in the mix in the 80s as far as most-played bands. "Down Boys", "Heaven", "I Saw Red", and "Sometimes She Cries" were also huge hits. All those who want Saturday to be Hair Metal Day, thumbs up!
I agree 👍
I was going to say that too ,must gotta be a Hair band W-end!...😂...👍
My brother listened to DRFSR and Sir Mix-a-Lot’s SWASS so much that I swore I’d rip his tapes up before his very eyes….. 🤣🤣🤣
I agree hair band Saturday !!
Yesssss!!!!
A moment of silence for Warrants lead singer, Jani Lane, who died from alcohol
@J King What is your point? He isn't worthy of being mourned because of how he died?
@J King did I say it was not his fault? It is still a tremendous loss. Maybe this song will help you. ua-cam.com/video/d9_XlkhdxNc/v-deo.html
@J King Yep. Agreed Bro.
@@tomhaan1633 thank you for agreeing with the obvious. That it’s his fault he drank too much. It’s also ones own fault if they don’t work to earn an income. But why bring up the obvious?
@J King do you care that he was raped and it bothered him tremendously? If someone you knew had been raped, and they ended up turning to drugs and or alcohol to deal with it would you 100% fault them on that? Sometimes people can’t handle tremendously bad things that happened to them, and they succumb to a bad habit. I never drank or did drugs, and I know what you’re saying. But come on….
CC Deville actually performed the guitar solo on Cherry Pie....Please review Uncle Tom's Cabin soon, it is such an Epic song for many reasons. The dynamics of the song with the guitar/banjo intro, the Power of the Band as they come I to the song, to the Epic story the song tells. Definately worth reviewing Uncle Tom's Cabin by Warrant
My favorite song by Warrant is "I Saw Red." I'm so glad you watched Skid Row's "I Remember you!" My grade eight class tried to sing it at graduation but they butchered it. My husband's favorite song was Europe's Final Countdown. You made a bad day much better for us. My Husband says to listen to the band Fozzy, song "Enemy." Lead singer is Chris Jerico from WWE.
Fun fact: Cherry Pie was a song Jani Lane (singer) wrote in 15 minutes, after the band's label demanded one more song for a record Warrant thought they had finished. The track's inspiration, Def Leppard's “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” was also a last-minute addition to that group's Hysteria LP. Both would go on to become strip-club favorites.
It sounds like it was written in 15 minutes.
Jani came to DETEST this song bc it became all they were known for.
I believe it was “Love in an Elevator” he was trying to emulate per the record company’s request. At least that’s what he said
@@kevinc6916 I think the exact quote is "I could shoot myself in the fucking head for writing that song."
The same for Bobby McGee. Kris Kristopherson was asked to write a song in short order, by his producer. His inspiration was the producer's secretary, who's name was 'Bobby McGee'. I can't recall if it was for his album, or for another artist's record.
Ok you guys have LITERALLY made me SO dang happy today! Skid Row, Europe AND Warrant??? THIS is the music I grew up on! The lead singer, Jani Lane, unfortunately passed away in 2011 of acute alcohol poisoning. Such a voice, gone too soon. Other songs to go down the rabbit hole to include Heaven, Down Boys, I Saw Red, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Sometimes She Cries, Blind Faith, Mr Rainmaker, Big Talk. Thank you both for these reactions, they are my absolute favorites :)
I agree. Very good voice. Good live too as long as he was sober. But the biggest loss for me was losing a great song writer. Jani knew how to write a tune that resonated with people. His song writing had range. He wrote memorable ballads, fun party tunes, and serious story telling songs.
@@dancrabbe6423 very very good more often than not by far, I saw them a ton.. Jani 11 times in all.. with warrant until he left and then a couple solo things.. always great.. yes ive seen a couple of not so good performances on video.. one he didn't seem drunk.. more just depressed and not singing well at all.. but it wasn't his voice because I saw him twice after that and back to great form.
And he was married to the blonde I believe her name is Bobbie brown
You named all the good ones...
“Mr.Rainmaker” do it!! “Uncle Toms Cabin” do it!! Lol
For Female Friday, check out Bonnie Raitt "I can't make you love me." Her voice is among the best you will ever hear. I saw her in concert at Red Rocks in the 90's. We got there 2 hours early to get a good seat and she came out by herself to test the sound set-up and played 3 songs-just she and her acoustic guitar. Damn. Chris Isaak was the warm-up. He killed it too.
I love how Amber has just opened up since the channel started. Her confidence has grown so much
“Heaven” is the Warrant ballad… like “I remember you” was the Skid Row ballad
Isn't to far away...
I think "I Saw Red" was better.
Great White is another band from this era...so fun! "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" is a fun song. Amazing piano.placement in the song as well🙂
YESSSSS
"Rock Me" and "House of Broken Love" are my favourites.
Let's not forget "wasted rock ranger"
I’ll add my vote for “Rock Me!”
Bobbie Brown got her music video debut, on once bitten, twice shy
Ok, here's a challenge for you... do a video on one of the most under rated and under represented (in reaction videos) bands of the late 80's... that is STILL putting out new music... Tesla.
What you Give, Paradise, Love Song, Little Suzi, The Way It Is, Lodi, Song and Emotion, So What, Pvt. Ledbetter... the list goes on.
Warrant was a great, but kind of underrated band of the late 80’s/early 90’s. Other standouts from them are Down Boys, Heaven, and my personal favorite, I Saw Red (the acoustic version is heartbreaking 💔). Jani was a fantastic singer, and gone way too soon♥️.
Oh I completely agree with I Saw Red. That song breaks my heart.
Yeah, there were a few underrated bands for some reason. Management, maybe band members attitude (or lack thereof), or market saturation? Who knows.
You’re learning that when a rock band sings about food (Pie, Poundcake), it’s not really about food!
I though it was until 1990 when I went into high school.
Indeed lol 😆
Yes! Unlike today's music where an entire song can literally be about your lunch, if there is a food/candy reference in rock n roll - they ain't talkin' about the food!
That's inherited from jazz- my jaw _dropped_ when I found out what Jelly Roll Morton's nickname *really* means! 😅
Ha Ha! VAN HALEN, OU812!
Jani Lane the lead singer and Bobbie Brown the eye candy was later married and had a daughter. This song was on MTV a lot back in the day. Great reaction guys!
A lot of singers married or dated the eye candy in their music videos back then.
It wasn't his daughter through it was Steven Tyler's daughter. She had been with him before. That's why the dig at Tyler with the fake smile.
@@kevingilbert6242 Thanks, I was going by what I read.
@@kevingilbert6242 No...he had a child with Bobbi. It was after this song came out so there wouldn't be a need for a "dig" at Steven Tyler.
My nephew Gabes band was warrant's opening act....He told me it was so much fun, doing shots after the concerts
Down Boys- Warrant is another great banger by Warrant. So glad both of you liked Cherry Pie it’s so cheeky and fun!!
“I Saw Red” is phenomenal!!!
Lead singer is Jani Lane (RIP). HE WAS SUCH a fun fontman. I'm so glad I got to see them play probably a dozen times. He was funny and nice. Gone way too soon.
I got to see them in their heyday 3x as an opener & 3x as a headliner and they KILLED it every time...Jani was just awesome & sounded great...what a talent!
He wrote 2 of my favorite lyrics:
"Certain things you do really make me mad I must confess...the way the streetlight silhouettes the thighs inside your dress"
"Life is poetry in motion"
BRILLIANT!!!
Warrents Heaven, is a great rock ballad, for you to review
The only rock musician I ever met..... really cool dude
80s metal had some brilliant songwriting in the fact they constantly had to come up with innuendo and euphemisms for sex, etc unlike today's artists who can say any vulgar thing they like and still get played. I don't have a problem with that kind of language at all but it took more skill to write back then.
I agree 100% Don.
Oh how I miss these days! Have great memories and had alot of fun. Hard to believe it has been over 30 years since hair bands were popular.
R.I.P Jani Lane the lead singer, Some More Of Warrants songs
"Heaven, Big talk, Sometimes She Cries". All great songs!! YOU GUYS REALLY BROUGHT IT TODAY AS ALWAYS!! LOVE YOU GUYS 💜
🥲
If you like Warrant, you might like Slaughter or Winger. Back in the day I felt they were all similar “pop” hair bands.
Winger!!!! YESSSSS
It’s not Iron Maiden or Black Sabbath but to say it’s pop is wrong in my opinion! This wasn’t pop, this was sleezy, nasty, rounchy hair band metal! I love everything about it!!
Jani had a great voice. I got this album for my birthday back in the day.
Their first hit was "Down Boys" in the summer on 1989.They also had 3 ballads:
"Heaven" (their biggest hit, 2 weeks at #2)
"I Saw Red"
"Sometimes She Cries"
Their ballad Heaven was pretty good too.
Amber would love Heaven
If you read this Amber listen to Heaven
You guys are killing it today. Every song today is in my wheel house.
Sometimes She Cries, Heaven, I Saw Red are also good. Awesome reaction guys. RIP Jani Lane.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for finally reacting to Warrant. The lead singer is Jani Lane, a personal friend of mine. He was the greatest guy in the world. He was generous, humble, and caring. The man had a heart of gold. The woman in the video is Bobbi Brown, who I knew before Jani met her. She would come into the Hollywood Tropicana where I worked as security. It was a female oil and mud wrestling venue and Bobbi would come in with Sharise Ruddell Neil. Sharise was married to Vince Neil, the lead singer of Mötley Crüe. The Tropicana is where Vince “lost his heart” (from Girls, Girls, Girls) along with Mötley Crüe bassist’s wife Brandi Brandt, who was pregnant with their son Gunner. I would stand around them to keep customers away from them and then escort them to their cars. Jani and Bobbi met on the Cherry Pie video and eventually married. One night Jani came in and began a conversation with me on the floor, but it was too loud so we went into a back room for almost 2 hours. I told him I knew his wife when she would come in with Sharise and Brandi. He really was easy to talk to. Absolutely no rockstar ego in him whatsoever. He was simply John Oswald from Ohio with a super cool job. We became good friends. Months later, Jani came in to see me and handed me a demo cd to hear. We went in the booth and the DJ played it. Out of those speakers blared the song Cherry Pie. We all loved it. Jani was glad we liked it even though he wrote it tongue in cheek on a pizza box in less than 15 minutes. He eventually hated that song. We were the very first people to ever hear Cherry Pie. We heard it before the record executives and before it hit the radio airwaves. Jani dropped a gift on us that night. He was such a kind soul. When meeting rockstars you’re lucky if you get 15-30 seconds to get autographs, but not with Jani. He loved his fans. He would sit and talk with you for 20 minutes or even an hour and stay there until the last person was gone and got to meet him. In Jani’s, he saw it as he was meeting you. He was so talented. He wrote all of Warrant’s songs and could play every instrument. Jani was Warrant. Something seriously wrong happened to Jani when he first arrived in Hollywood that I’m really not at liberty to say and I want to keep my promise to my friend. The people who did this terrible deed to him, he wouldn’t tell me because he knew they would end up dead and he didn’t want me to go to prison for a double homicide. You see, Jani was 6’1” and 155 pounds whereas I was 6’5” and 250 pounds. He refused to tell me their names because he knew I would beat them to death. Now, his ex-wife Bobbi is claiming to expose the suspects in her tell all book. Honestly, he never told her until later in their relationship. To be honest, I don’t think he trusted her enough to tell her their names. Another thing, don’t be fooled by those two guitar players. They didn’t play on the albums to record the tracks. After they were recorded with Jani’s brother Eric, CC Deville played the solos and guitar parts for Jani as a favor to his longtime friend. After that, the guitar players were taught how to play the songs. I really miss my friend Jani Lane. I can’t believe in 10 days he will have been gone for a decade. It doesn’t seem possible. RIP big brother. I love you.
Let’s do some Cinderella… SHAKE ME!!!!
🎸🎸🎸🎸
LOVE the suggestion !
Or "Shelter Me"... that's always a good fun Cinderella song. With a saxophone!
Their guitarist, Jeff LaBar, just passed away a couple of weeks ago, so some Cinderella would be a great tribute.
Followed by some Bad Seamstress Blues
Love Shelter Me!
Are you guys really going to start a "Hair Metal Saturday"???? Cause if you did...that'd be kinda awesome. I was a teenager when all this was out. Totally got into the hair metal bands.
Oh how I miss the 80’s! This is just another example of why the 80’s had some of the best music EVER!
Aww...RIP Jani Layne!! They were a fun band in the 80's! That blonde beauty is Bobbi Brown...she's an 80's queen!
"Sometimes She Cries" is my favorite song by WARRANT 🥰
80s hard rock is FUN. Next you must do Poison.
- Nothin But A Good Time
- Talk Dirty to Me
- Every Rose Has It’s Thorn
Unskinny Bop
Something to Believe In, Fire and Ice
RKOENT .... You beat me to it. Unskinny Bop is my favourite poison song
Please do Poison next!
Came here to post an up for Poison.
The 80’s was Hair Nation. This band was so good to see live. I was able to see them when they opened for Queensryche. So sad that Lead singer Jani Lane is no longer with us. Passed away in 2008. R.I.P. Jani
I was lucky enough to see warrant and poison together. What a party!
I'm actually friends with one of their guitarist who was around for a little bit, Billy Morris. He now has his own band here in Cleveland and a bomb ass food truck!
The 80's was so cool to live through. Anything went.
Love your reactions, graduated with "Jani Lane", his name was John Oswald, he was a drummer in High School, very good drummer.
Poison would be a perfect follow up. Along with some more Warrant!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
WARRANT... SOMETIMES SHE CRIES AND I SAW RED!!!
Sometimes She Cries is straight 🔥🔥🔥
Down Boys is another great, catchy song by them...
I rocked out to this in 1990 while stationed in Korea for the Army...my favorite cassette at the time! It's crazy that music from that long ago is still awesome today.
I feel like everyone forgets about Cinderella! Don’t Know What You Got til It’s Gone- great power ballad!!
When this video came out everyone was astonished that it was allowed to be played on MTV due to how, umm, naughty it was. Hair bands were known for sex bombs and sex this and sex that, but this was a blink blink wha? video. No one could imagine how they got away with it, but they did much to many hormonal men's, young and old, delight.
goes to show how much time have changed. This video is so tame by today's standards, particularly how women are portrayed in today's rap videos.
The Singer Jani Lane from Warrant ended up seeing the Model Bobbie Brown on Star Search and got her for the video and also ended up Marrying her and having a baby girl......Jani Lane passed away in 2011 RIP
Wow..has it really been that long 😔
Saw Warrant and Poison in concert in the late 80's. What a show! :)
ICONIC 80’s- oh I miss my teenage years! 💖💙👍✌️
Takes me back to when I met my girl. We are older now ,but she's still my cherry pie😍
Aww 😍
Hell yeah, hair metal! Saw these guys way back, early 90's or so. Similar bands to check out would be Great White, Poison, Extreme, Cinderella, L. A. Guns, Slaughter... the list is huge for great, fun rocking bands like these guys. Takes me back to high school, lol. Excellent choice! 🤘
Everybody into rock was immediately in love with 'The Cherry Pie Girl' when this first hit MTV. (Back when MTV was literally 100% music videos)
This song was in a TV commercial for Arby's, a fast-food restaurant chain. Also used for the trailer on a comedy, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. You guys just going through ALL those 80s hits! Pretty awesome! Brings back a lot of memories. Great job guys...keep it up
Warrant is one of my favorite 80s/90s rock bands! Jani Lane the lead singer has a beautiful voice, and he was one of the NICEST guys EVER.
He used to own a club here in Orlando (Jani Lane's Sunset Strip), and I met him and Bobbi Brown (the girl in this video) one night there.
He was so down to earth and was so nice to me and my friend.
Check out the songs- Heaven, Sometimes She Cries, and I saw Red. He really has one of the best voices.
RIP Jani.
I worked there for him. Lol! Worked at the Fern Park Station prior to that but Jani was a great man. RIP. 💔
I think this song is atypical of who Warrant is as a band, who to me are more blues rock than Cherry Pie's bubble gum rock vibe. Try listening to UNCLE TOM'S CABIN or the ballad HEAVEN.
I miss the 80s and 90s so much!!! Music today will never be the same
My mom gave me this album back in 5th grade when I got a cd player for my birthday. It was my introduction to hair metal. Still have the cd 16 years later.
The beginning of the song, is the beginning of a song album titled DRFSR (dirty rotten filthy stinking rich). Awesome album. I can't think of a song on that album that I don't like. But their hit song...on drfsr, was titled DOWN BOYS. I highly recommend that song.
I was a teenager when this came out.
Another cool band from back then.
Ratt round n round!
Can you please react to Heaven by Warrant? Such a great song.
Yes
Big Time!!!! 💯
Hey...you have come a long way! I saw your 1st reaction when your friend James challenged you to listen to AC DC! I am glad too that Amber is on this journey with you! Love to all!
I stirred the batter and she licked the beater is one of the best innuendo lines in any song. It's up there with Zeppelin's she squeezed my lemon til the juice ran down my leg.
Hell, Jordan, I'd gotten the reference of what this song's talking about at the lyric "Swing It To The Left, Swing It To The Right, Think About Baseball, Swing All Night"
Or even when they'd dropped a wedge of "Cherry Pie" in that girl's lap
Fun Fact:
The woman in this video is named Bobbie Brown and she would later get married to Warrant's lead vocalist, Jani Lane
OMG IKR so many ppl so did not get this video
80 song and videos are awesome
@@vonettagrey5800 not only did a lot of people not get the video, they didn't even get the lyrics to the song.
I actually remember listening to this song while hanging out with a few of my friends and one of those friends literally asked me "What's This Song About? ", the rest of the group, myself included, look at her and say things along the lines of "Did You Live Under A Rock?".etc.
I literally say to her, "If you honestly have to ask that question, you've live an extremely sheltered life "
@Karl Smith I would have loved to be a fly on that wall 🤣🤣🤣
We kept waiting for them to get it and were laughing so hard ... Until next time Rock on 🤘
Warrant power ballads would be I Saw Red, Heaven or Sometimes She Cries. Everything else pretty well kicks.
I was DYING to see your reaction to this one! It's one of my many favorites!!
Going from not listening to rock at all to me going down the UA-cam rabbit hole with your reaction vids I'm happy to say welcome to the rock and roll world guys. You doin yourselves a favor. Rock and roll never dies!
Warrant! Cool! Now check out Extreme! Hole Hearted , More Than Words, Get The Funk Out, Tragic Comic,etc..so many great songs!
I enjoy that you folks are all over the board on types of music and the trip through the 80s is fun.
For more similar stuff, Tesla, Poison, Queensryche. Solid tunes from all.
I’m sorry, but Poison should never be in the same sentence as Tesla and Queensryche.
@@skiavalanche lol! This is so true.
Tesla "Signs" the live acoustic version I suggested it the other day :)
ohhh, Silent Lucidity
by Queensryche. Great Song!
@@skiavalanche that's fair! Poison has their own flair but none of the above can touch Queensryche
Hair Metal!! RIP Jani..They were a blast in concert!! Fun stuff u2!!
Singer was Jani Lane … was a friend that I also worked for back in the 90’s. Jani passed away at age 47 and is dearly missed. But Warrant had some GREAT songs! For a more blues sound listen to “UNCLE TOMS CABIN”. One of my favs! For a slower song try “I SAW RED”. Both are amazing. 😉 Love your channel! Keep rocking! 🤘🏻
Jani wrote this on a pizza box in less than half hour they needed radio friendly sond and Bobbi made the video shoot crazy up the charts
Sounds like it
"Bobbi Brown" and not the New Edition ( Mr Whitney Houston )one :P and Betsy Lynn George from Billy Idols "Cradle of Love" both left tongues hanging out
@@Sportsref13 sorry do I need to add Jani Lane as well as Bobbi Brown think true fans already know to the point that their daughter preformed " heaven" in tribute to her father ?
Jani hated this song
@@victorbradshaw7359 was a bad joke.. some folks would do a double take with the name :P
"Hair Metal Saturday".....I couldn't be happier. I just wish I could rock that hair like I did in the 80's. I went from having that hair, and now at 53 I rock the "Bald" look!!!!
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
@@itsmedino in the 80's had you told me I would go from hair longer than the girls I dated to shaving it everyday and having a beard almost as long as ZZ Top. I would've bet you anything that would never happen!!!
I wouldn't say Metal but definitely hair band of the 80's ! I am 52 and can SO relate ! This is my genre !!
@@kevinchmielowiec7154 I feel you brother. I will double down, if you had told me then that I would live to be 51 I would have stared at you in shock. Thank you Alcoholics Anonymous for 25 years sober lol
The 3 of us were probably at some of the same concerts.🤘🤘
Seen them around 1999 here I'm KC. Puddle of mud opened for them at a local pub. There was a fence separating them and the crowd by at least 20 feet. Jani lead singer got on the mic and said screw this and knocked the fence down and invited everyone on the stage. I was next to him as he was singing and he was passing a 5th of jack around pouring it down everyone's throat. Was such a bad ass night.
Warrant one of my favorite Glam/Hair Metal bands from the late 80’s!!
The opening is a reference to their debut album, "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich."
Waiting for a Ratt reaction,.. It's a "Shame, shame , shame" you ain't gonna "Lay it down" when "Way cool Jr." goes "Round and Round".
Ratt n Roll was good but Rockin with Dokken was better!
Omg! I love this song. My husband used to call me Cherry Pie... ❤️
You guys would have fit in the 80's so well! I miss them so much!
It's time for The Pretender-Foo Fighters, the lead singer was the drummer for Nirvana, Dave Grohl, considered the nicest guy in Rock. Its a banger.
"Bad Reputation" Live from the David Letterman show..
Back then Cherry Pie is "code" for a part of the female body. A lot of songs had to use innuendo because of people like Al and Tipper Gore that were doing their best to censor rock music. Look up Dee Snyder(lead singer of Twisted Sister)vs Al Gore and Congress.
My Saturday night in Los Angeles Sunset Strip I’m spending it with you two. AWESOME hearing “WARRANT” “CHERRY 🍒 PIE”
How fun . . thanks for that introduction - I'll be checking out more of them, as well!
I've always felt that the companion song to this is Poison's Unskinny Bop, for some reason.
for me the two that go together forever are
Kansas - Dust in the Wind
followed by
Styx - Crystal Ball
Steelheart I’ll never let you go official video
YES!! This !👆🏻
Saw these guys in the ‘80s on this tour and again in ‘95 in a night club. Even had a beer at the bar with Jani Lane… such a loss with his passing.
This is one of my guilty pleasure songs... played loud in the car on my way home after a bad day at work, It's just so fun!
Another great reaction video! Please try their song "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (my personal favorite song by them and it tells a great story). Keep up the great videos!
This song reminded me of Billy Squier's song The Stroke...check it out u think you both will like it.
Amber! I'm still waiting on Selena disco medley live at the Astrodome reaction...please.
Long before there was the Sunday Ticket and the Red Zone Channel, I used to go to a bar in Sherman oaks to watch football on Sundays and Jani Lane of Warrant was one of the guys I'd hang out with. One of the nicest people I've ever known. RIP, Jani.
Love the use of cherry red in the video ... guitars, drums, cymbals, the car, her shirt ... very effective.
How about an occasional "MONSTER BALLAD MONDAY"? When I saw you were reacting to Warrant, my first thought was their song "Heaven", a so called "power" or "monster" ballad - Usually an instant #1 on the charts, whenever a hard rock hair band of the day would released one. These would be great treasures for you to explore; here is a list of a few great ones:
Warrant - Heaven
Cheap Trick - The Flame
Aerosmith - Angel
Bad English - When I See You Smile
Extreme - More Than Words
Guns n' Roses - Patience
Def Leppard - Love Bites
Skid Row - I Remember You
White Snake - Is This Love
Cinderella - Don't Know What You Got
Firehouse - When I Look Into Your Eyes
Scorpions - Wind of Change
Bon Jovi - Never Say Goodbye
Kiss - Forever
Mr. Big - To Be with You
Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn
You should check out the band STEELHEART. “I’ll Never Let You Go” and “Can’t Stop Me Lovin’ You” are good songs to react to 💓💓
Yes please!! I keep suggesting this for them.
Totally agree! Steelheart vocals compare to none! Lol! I’ll Never let you go (Angel eyes) is a goosebumps song for sure!
Yall would love the vocals of Steelheart. One of my favorite bands @1990
Scene from bad grandpa when the kid switches from " my body lies over the ocean to cherry pie makes me die laughing everytime. Especially with Johnny Knoxville making it rain cash lmfao.
One of my favorite songs!! Fantastic songs picked for today!!🥰🥰
Warrant - Heaven, Steelheart - I'll Never Let You Go, Bon Jovi - Bad Medicine, Aerosmith - Love In An Elevator, ZZ Top - Rough Boy
I just told them to react to Steelheart, Never let you go. He is the Rock Version of Barry Gibb with those high notes!! Lol
I haven't thought about Bad Medicine in ages. But that's a good one. Wanted Dead or Alive too.
@@stanleymyrick4068 I love rock music, but not too heavy, so that`s why I am a big fan of Bon Jovi. My Top 10 of all time by them is: 1. Wanted Dead Or Alive 2. Bad Medicine 3. Livin' On A Prayer 4. I'll Be There For You 5. It's My Life 6. Lay Your Hands On Me 7. Born To Be My Baby 8. Bed Of Roses 9. Never Say Goodbye 10. You Give Love A Bad Name. Let`s not forget Blaze of Glory from the movie Young guns....
@@jeanniemetiva6745 There was many great rock bands in the 80s or hair bands, as they call them these days. They haven`t heard it all, if Rob Squard forget about Steelheart and the chance of hearing the best vocal range front singer (Miljenko Matijevic) of that period, maybe even of all time.....
Lead singer Jani Lane was one of the best songwriter from 80s hard rock bands. Never got the credit he was due. Way to many great songs not to dive into
Met these guys in 1992 when I was 16. Bobbi was there with Jani..Jerry, Jani were super sweet and Bobbi ( aka the Cherry Pie girl) was sooo incredibly kind and patient with me as I bombarded her with a billion questions about makeup, hair, clothes, etc..) I was a die hard Warrant fan. So their first two albums were super great, billboard top hits..but their third album Dog Eat Dog was so underrated..) RIP Jani!!
This is BY FAR my favorite reaction channel on UA-cam for music! Such a wide selection of music and y'all are SO real! Hello From Ardmore, about 90 miles south of you. (I also have family in OKC) You MUST watch Uncle Tom's Cabin....Amazing song. Also, Shake Me by Cinderella and You're In Love by RATT are awesome Hair Metal songs from the era. And for mellow music with horns, try Biggest Part Of Me by a group called Ambrosia circa 1980....you can't get more relaxing that this. Thanks to you both for all the amazing content and keep up the good work!
