You’re 100% right. The last time I got a trim just to get rid of split ends was a couple months ago and before that it’s been 5 years. You really don’t need to cut your hair that often if you want it to be long. My hair is past my butt by the way.
also, TIP! Use a shampoo and conditioner with an appropriate pH level! THIS IS IMPORTANT! For my lovely curly hair people out there missing this could be bad for you! Another hair tip for curly/ frizzy hair I use a mask from Giovanni “Hot oil hair treatment “ heat the packet up in water then apply from roots to ends, massage scalp for a minute next I add cold pressed Castor oil & jojoba oil together (rub in hands fast together creates a warming effect) and run through scalp (at least massaging twice for about a minute ) then put a disposable shower cap on and leave on for at least 2 hrs if not longer. This works for me maybe not others just a tip. Now that I’ve started this I will not ever stop :)
I've actually noticed that when I airdry my hair, my hair seems more damaged. It gets frizzy and puffy and almost in a thick rectangular shape. This happens because parts of my hair, (usually the top of my hair and the back of my hair) dries really fast. Those are the damaged parts of my hair that dries really really fast. Like, the rest of my hair can be extremely dripping wet and under the top layer of my hair will already be dry.

I’ve tried both vinegar and rice water. I have wavy semi frizzy hair and I can tell you that both made my hair fall out. Vinegar used once a week can add a bit of shine but I’m not sure if it’s good for your hair’s pH. Rice water just made my hair even coarser and frizzier. The only thing that has helped my hair is conditioning my tips with hyaluronic acid or coconut oil every other day.
Something must be wrong with me. I eat most if not all the food you mentioned, take daily vitamin and Biotin & Collagen supplement pills but still no change in my lack of hair growth or health. Is it me or are all these tips just BS?!!!
I don't recommend vinegar I put vinegar on my hair and my hair the next morning get all dry and damage and my hair was really long amd beautiful for that reason I had to cut my hair so short 😭😭
vineger definitely dries out hair as it's acidic,so if your hair is dry just add like 2 teaspoons of vineger in 2 cups of water and use it as the last rinse...I use that and it doesn't dry out my hair(sorry for bad English btw)
I like to mix like 2 tablespoons in a cup with shampoo to wash my hair and then do deep conditioning after that my hair looks clean and shiny I do it once a month if is oily might be twice.
I take care of my hair, i dont change the color of my hair, i dont use heat, i eat well and its still looks like shit, looks damaged and dry, i use coconut oil and i condition my hair ones a week
When I was younger, I had this thicc silk shiny voluminous hair but over the years it’s pretty much turned into Hagrids hair and I have no idea why but then I realized that I used to shower in near boiling water and that’s probably what did it. I’ve heard that hair is mostly genetic so I’m wondering if there’s still hope for me to revive mine bc it was born in good condition and was only damaged by the climate ig. I eat very healthy and now have switched to cold cleanses. I apply olive oil every s often but do y’all know of any miracle shampoo & conditioner for dry frizzy hair lol??
Because of this quarantena I couldn't go to my hairstylist, so I had the genius idea of cutting split ends with nails scissors😅ya know, sometimes you feel like it's not gonna happen to you...but it did😅😅after one week I had more and I ordered some hair scissors, but they didn't arrive yet. Ssooo, I was wondering, should I cut a long string or can I still go for hair dusting technique, saving the length???
Maybe your shampoo contains SLS and too much silicons. You should check the ingredients. There's a lot of other reasons also. I dont know where you live, maybe you spend too much time on the sun or you're not careful while brushing it.
Maybe it’s also your diet. I started taking vegan protein powder and multivitamins. I noticed my hair stopped splitting at the ends as much or as fast. Try also getting better hair products. As annoying as it is, professional hair products are best and I have noticed a difference. To get them for cheap I-get my professional shampoos conditioners and other products from Marshall’s or Tj Max. I don’t see anything wrong with the products but take that with a grain of salt. For example I use a shampoo that cost $30 but got it for 14. Hope this helps
my scalp is always dry and even after applying oil IT'S STILL DRY. I don't know what to do anymore, my head is always itchy and my hair is dry and frizzy af, I don't use heat at all (I can't actually I tried using a hair straightener once and it completely damaged my hair) and my split ends are crazy and my mum doesn't understand that. it's really a crisis what do I do :((
It's been 2 years since the last time I cut my hair. I can't stand it anymore. I have thick, long wavy, dry hair and I don't do anything to it, I only use coconut oil but it feels a bit uncomfortable and it doesn't help that much with dryness. I don't have a blow dryer. I feel like uncle It. I would need at least 100 bucks to buy masks and treatments for my hair. Taking care of your hair is expensive :c going to a stylist is at least 80 dollars. I guess I will start saving. Thanks for sharing your tips!!
Does vinegar damage your hair? “ACV is too acidic and will damage your hair.” This is technically true- if you use undiluted apple cider vinegar. Pure ACV is extremely acidic and will definitely start degrading your hair, and we don't recommend using diluted ACV more often than once a week.
My hair started getting very dry after switching to natural shampoo is that normal? Or should I stop using natural shampoo for now it has been 1 week since I started using natural shampoo.

Dear Natu Fdo, I’m so very sorry to hear all that you are going through. Life is hard isn’t it? We all face anxiety and depression at times in our lives. Please understand that Jesus’ promises are true and He will NEVER EVER break His promises. He will take your anxiety away and lift you out of the depression. Talk to him like you would your best friend bc He is the BEST FRIEND YOU WILL EVER HAVE. May God keep you and bless you and may His face shine down upon you. I really care about you.
I'm growing out some layers, and they have damage. I don't know how to deal with getting the ends trimmed off when I'm trying to grow it out. Seems to me they'd have to cut off a lot of length off the layers to accomplish it. Whatever happened to shampoo formulas that were specifically designed for split ends?

when i was young my hair was so good but since like 3 years from now the upper part of my hair became really damaged that i had to cut my hair and i just remembered that at that time i used to put lemon juice and chamomile ; sooo can that be the reason?
chemomile is amazing for your hair and will lighten it too. I use Queen bean shampoo and mastoora hair butter because i noticed that my hair wasn't so curly after bleaching it.
My hair is healthy but the ends are dry and I know there not split ends tho but I also always struggled with dry hair and idk how to get rid of it 😩 and I wash if 1x a week-4x a day and always rinse my hair with cold water when using conditioner
I can add to rinse with filtered water. Tap water is full of minerals that makes the hair brittle and coated with gross stuff, also causes oxodation and brassiness. Try to not just rinse with it, but wash. Don't rinse with vinegar, it's bad for the environment.
Layla Rivera it could be because your hair is protein sensitive! Avoid hair products/ingredients with protein for a while (coconut oil is a big one) and focus on moisture. Jojoba, olive, argan, and almond are all good moisturizing/moisture sealing oils

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. 💗
This is my first video of urs and its soooo informative!!! Thank youu!!!
Welcome to our channel! Thanks so much for the love 💗so glad you enjoyed it!
You must have used undiluted vinegar. You need to dilute it in a 1:3 ratio or higher for it to work
How is it now?
vineger definitely dries out hair as it's acidic,so if your hair is dry just add like 2 teaspoons of vineger in 2 cups of water and use it as the last rinse...I use that and it doesn't dry out my hair(sorry for bad English btw)
I like to mix like 2 tablespoons in a cup with shampoo to wash my hair and then do deep conditioning after that my hair looks clean and shiny I do it once a month if is oily might be twice.
It turns your hair gray also
Your the first person I’ve heard that did not mention WATER.... I think that’s important right?
Yes, that is also a good tip! 💗
A VERY underrated video. Thank you for this.😊🌼💕
Thanks for your love! 💗
We recommend consulting with your stylist to choose a sulfate-free product best suited to your hair type! 💗

Thanks for reaching out. Please let us know how these tips work for you! 💗
OHHHHHHH THIS MAKES SINCE because I dyed my hair green and its rough thanks for telling me
Because of this quarantena I couldn't go to my hairstylist, so I had the genius idea of cutting split ends with nails scissors😅ya know, sometimes you feel like it's not gonna happen to you...but it did😅😅after one week I had more and I ordered some hair scissors, but they didn't arrive yet. Ssooo, I was wondering, should I cut a long string or can I still go for hair dusting technique, saving the length???
When she said the part about the hair dye i was like oof I dye my hair so much right now its pink
I have damaged hair but my hair is virgin never had heat on hair dye on it before what's the reason?
I recommend Isabella Demarko.
my scalp is always dry and even after applying oil IT'S STILL DRY. I don't know what to do anymore, my head is always itchy and my hair is dry and frizzy af, I don't use heat at all (I can't actually I tried using a hair straightener once and it completely damaged my hair) and my split ends are crazy and my mum doesn't understand that. it's really a crisis what do I do :((
Next time you get your hair trimmed I highly recommend you ask the haircutter for advice on the matter. Good luck :)
same here..i also have scalp problem
@@herlizard my mum trims my hair ;-; she even cut a lot of it off because it was so damaged oof
@@herlizard I even use a hair mask and good quality shampoo and conditioner and it’s still the same 💀
Try using different shampoo. I've noticed with some shampoos, my scalp is worse than with other shampoo
Thanks for sharing your tips!!
my hair routine is on point. but its all about genes...
Thanks for sharing! 💗
My hair started getting very dry after switching to natural shampoo is that normal? Or should I stop using natural shampoo for now it has been 1 week since I started using natural shampoo.
My hair oil has fenugreek ND curry leaves. Sometimes I make a muringa mask . It's really good
Oh, thanks for sharing! 💗
Im finna get my mama to trim my hair but its wavy and she says it harder to cut hair with wavy or curl pattern cuz it shrinks so she wanna straighten it to make it easier BUT I WANT HEALTHY HAIR ion wanna straight it :((
Thanks for sharing. Wishing you a lovely week ahead! 💗
This is the most helpful video on fixing damaged hair, thank you so much for the tips I definitely learned something :))
We're glad you found it helpful, love! 💗
Tip Argon oil should be golden or orangy if its clear its not real Argo OIl and natural Argon Oil should be cold pressed so not mixed with other ingredients if it's mixed with other ingredients if it's clear its fake if its golden or orangy there may be very little Argon oil in it.
Thanks for sharing, love! 💗
Ok... but where’s that top from?

We're sorry to hear that! You'll want to do your best to help your scalp to nourish your strands. Hair masks, deep conditioner, and a healthy diet are great ways to help revive your strands. We also recommend consulting with your stylist for their thoughts on reviving your hair 💗

This is the one video in years that I've watched that I actually understand, might just be my adhd and autism but this helped so much! once my red hair dye is gone, i'm going to start taking care of my hair. Thanks for sharing good information!
So glad this video was helpful!💗
My hair is naturally curly.I had a long thick hair before I turned 18. Now I am almost 21 and my hair is thin and damaged .I am struggling with depression, anxiety and germaphobia which make things worser.I can remember that people envied me for having a long thick hair and complimented me for it.Now I feel down because I didn't try my best.
Thank you for sharing. We're very sorry to hear this. 💗
Dear Natu Fdo,
I’m so very sorry to hear all that you are going through. Life is hard isn’t it? We all face anxiety and depression at times in our lives. I wish I could hold your hand and tell you everything will turn out ok. But I can’t. I’m here and you are there. But I know someone who can hold your hand and tell you everything is going to be ok. Jesus said come unto me all who are weary and I will give you REST. Jesus also said that He is CLOSE to the BROKEN-HEARTED.
I'm trying to be patient and wait for it to get through this awful phase when it's finally long enough that I don't mind cutting some off.
Whatever happened to shampoo formulas that were specifically designed for split ends?
my hair always gets tangled up though i detangle it... can you suggest any methords to prevent tangles.... plssss
Moisturize it very well or/get a trim. Split hair and dry hair will tangle more than healthy one
Bleaching my hair once , and straightening my hair everyday for a whole year without using heat protectant really messed up my hair but I was only 14 at that time so I was really dumb and ain’t think about the consequences Lol . I’m 17 now and my hair is so thin I used to have reallyyy really thick hair ! What can I use Yall ? Somebody help me out
Hi Samantha, We're sorry to hear this. You may be a fit for our Seamless clip-in set, which is ideal for thinner hair. Reach out to us at any time at info@luxyhair.com, so that we may help you further. 💗
I make my own oil! I just add curry leaves in hot coconut oil let it sit for a while and then strain it. :)
Nice
oh, interesting! Thanks for sharing. 💗
I have heard that works wonderfully well on bald patches too. It's amazing to grow your hair. Now all I need to do is get some curry leaves in this quarantine
There is a new haircare line that came out in January: Hairitage by Mindy! I would recommend trying their leave in conditioners, argan oil, and texture powder. Plus Mindy's products smell amazing
I just started using her shampoo and conditioner! It does smell good Charu Shekhar
I don't see damage hair on you
Great tips, overall good presentation.... 💟 u got a Sub.. #VLOGMOMENTS
Can you please give me the ingredients for your coconut oil hair mask you mentioned in the beginning? Thanks so much.
You can just use coconut oil & apply it directly to your hair! 💗
Luxy Hair ok! Thanks so much. My hair is thick, wavy and frizzy if I brush it. I hope this helps, which it probably will 😊 💗
@@juliajohnson6629 you should try the curly girl method because how you described your hair, it might be possible that the present condition is caused by the lost curls.
My hair got ruined 2 days ago from isopropyl rubbing alcohol being accidentally sprayed on it. Is there any way to reverse the damage without having to get it all cut off?
All great advice! It’s fantastic that you address the dietary aspects as well.
I don't even style my hair with chemical products, no heating, I used to colour my hair with garnier but now I do it rarely because I have also have grey hair...but still my upper layer of hair is Litterly brittle, dry, damaged, frizzy, and I have breakage problem and my hair are curly and my lower layer and middle layer od hair is much better than upper layer.
Wow, you covered almost everything ❤️
Hello! Thanks for the tips. Do you use a hair cap for sleeping/ do you sleep with it on a braid or just loose?
Who else is watching this with perfect hair but you started using heat so your terrifyed
that's the coolest shirt i've seen all week
what about boar bristle brushing ?
Very informative! People should opt for Ayurvedic remedies of Planet Ayurveda, they seems to be really effective.
Sleep only on a silk pillowcase, it makes a Huuuuge difference with minimum effort, trust me!
when she said stop drinking alcohol. I stopped watching XD
I'd probably do the same. I've never drank before but I know me and me knows when I'm of age I'll get wasted every week.
Rice water and products with coconut oil severely damaged my hair. My hair hates protein.
Your Before is better than my after🙂💔👍
Hang in there, love. 💗
Love the food part, you should make more of good food for healthy hair😍🥰✨
Thanks for letting us know, Alice! 💗
i like using vegetable oil
my expreience for damaged hair was so bad i used to burn my hair everyday with hair dryer and staightner.
God dammit every single time I watch hair videos they tell me the exact opposite of what my mom told me to do. my mom had me fucking my hair up
when i was young my hair was so good but since like 3 years from now the upper part of my hair became really damaged that i had to cut my hair and i just remembered that at that time i used to put lemon juice and chamomile ; sooo can that be the reason?
@RANIA lemon juice is extremely bad for our hair.
chemomile is amazing for your hair and will lighten it too. I use Queen bean shampoo and mastoora hair butter because i noticed that my hair wasn't so curly after bleaching it.
When you rinse your hair with vinegar do you leave it on your hair and not rinse it out?
My hair is healthy but the ends are dry and I know there not split ends tho but I also always struggled with dry hair and idk how to get rid of it 😩 and I wash if 1x a week-4x a day and always rinse my hair with cold water when using conditioner
Hi love! We recommend deep conditioning your hair once a week and consulting with your hairstylist for techniques to strengthen your strands 💗
The hell is Victoria Justice doing on here
Right!! I was looking for this comment 😂
Very helpful video and the best part is it was quick, you touched upon everything in a short time.
Yay! Thanks for the feedback! 💗
I can add to rinse with filtered water. Tap water is full of minerals that makes the hair brittle and coated with gross stuff, also causes oxodation and brassiness. Try to not just rinse with it, but wash. Don't rinse with vinegar, it's bad for the environment.
But the lockdown ;_; I can't get my ends cut *cry*
Coconut oil makes my hair even more dry, I don’t know how else to fix my damaged hair :(
Layla Rivera it could be because your hair is protein sensitive! Avoid hair products/ingredients with protein for a while (coconut oil is a big one) and focus on moisture. Jojoba, olive, argan, and almond are all good moisturizing/moisture sealing oils
@@maryhadalittlelamb804 wow Thankyou for sharing Mary! I too notice my hair dry after coconut oil. I was confused..
Thankyou again 💓
What hair type are you?? Have you found any more helpful things for your hair?
Do i have to use the vinegar, rice water and olive oil also on my scalp?
