One more tip: when you are drying with the brush, you'll get more shine if you angle the concentrator attachment towards the ends of your hair. I learned about that in a book called How to Look Expensive (hate the name and the product recommendations are out of date, but otherwise really helpful). The author says that works because it encourages the cuticle to lay flat. After I read that, I started paying attention, and my stylist always does this.
That’s 100% true also that way you prevent hair damage
how can i angle it?
@@jmdqql3point the blow dryer to an angle
I dont understand! 😮😅
@@jmdqql3 When you point the blow dryer at your hair, turn your wrist so the air is blowing parallel to your hair strands, and towards the ends. (Not at a right angle to your strands or towards your roots.) This only applies when you're using the brush.
I am a hairdresser and a little tip is that once the hair is dry you do not need to apply more heat protectant before styling because the first application is still on your hair! Sometimes adding layers and layers of products can weigh the hair down and make it greasier quicker. But if your hair is drier or coarser and the product helps tame it by all means do that! :)
By the way your hair looks gorgeous 💕
Hey, When should I apply heat protectant if I’m styling my hair when its dry(air dry) ? I apply it when its still damp and it let air dry but i see people apply it on dry hair as well
@@sampurnaa you’re able to apply the heat protectant to dry hair as well. It’s just when you apply it to wet hair then blow dry then apply more to style it can the hair get weighed down :)
Heyy do you have any tips on keeping my hair healthy and moisturized although I style my hair twice a week with a straightener (180° C)
@@luna_the_star a lot has to do with the shampoo and conditioner you’re using. If it’s a drug store product there are other ingredients in them that are not good for the hair. But if you want to stay on a budget try to find one that’s sulfate and paraben free. Para end and sulfates (especially) strip the hair of any natural oils needed to moisturize the hair.
@@luna_the_star and since you heat style a couple times a week I would invest in a salon quality hair treatment like Olaplex No. 3 or any hydrating hair mask. A personal favorite of mine is the Joico Intensive Hydrator :)
Finally not a 35 minute long and actually helpful video!!! Was looking for ages! Thank you so much!
exactly what i was thinking, blessed to have stumbled across this video
Hey girl, thank you for emphasizing that there is nothing wrong with the “done at home” side. You are absolutely right and people need to hear that more often. To each their own, and positivity either way is the best! ❤
Basically anything that is salon worthy just takes more time and attention. Ive found that I always want the salon result but I’m so lazy and always take the quickest route
this feels like a 2010 youtube video and i’m learning to style my hair for school! i love this 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 thank you for making content
Literally the best hair styling tutorial ive ever seen. Made it so clear what the differences where, and how to do it "properly"
a tip i like to do mostly:
when showering i always rub the shampoo in both of my hands other than adding it straight away in my hair. after that i then rinse it off with warm water. when adding conditioner, i comb my hair down with my hands (dont add it on top of your head) then rinse it off with cold water. after taking a shower i dont immediately blow dry it. I leave it for 1 hour so that it smoothen my hair. after that i blow dry it a bit in a cold temperature. adding hot temp makes it frizzy and dry.
this is probably basic tips but these are for people who have wavy/frizzy hair like me :)
thanks!
This might be the shortest yt tutorial i watched in awhile!! And I'm liking it😩💖
Thank you so much for teaching us how to take care of our hair!
So sweet! Happy to share and thank you for your support! :)
Great comparison! Really love the side by side to see the differences 😊
If you learn to use a round brush, you can do the salon side even faster by using a smaller barrel round brush to create the curl/wave you want. While it’s still on the barrel blast with a bit of cool air at the end and then clip the curl with a long clip and to let it finish setting while you work on the next section. Blow down the hair shaft as well rather then diricting the heart right at the hair when using a concentrator nozel. Doing so will give you a smoother finish.
Finally found someone who has exactly my hair condition 😆 and I subscribed you immediately
Thank you so much for this hairstyling tutorial! I suck at styling my hair, and this totally helped a lot!
Yay! So happy to hear that!! 🥰
We have the exact same hair texture and wave type! Im so glad i found you!!!
I'm so grateful this video is only 3 minutes long, and you managed to tell all the necessary info! probably won't use this bc my hair can't survive any heat at all even with heat protector, but it's nice to understand these basics. thanks!
Finally a tutorial that I can follow through! Thank you ❤
I've had a curler for ages but I thought it futile when i already have natural waves but this helped me tame it a lot. Huge thanks now I don't have to fear my hair looking puffy
I have an insanely frizzy dry hair
it’s really good method I tried it today at first day Eid and i was very pleased with how it turned out Thank you so much
heyy!! thank you for the step at 1:05 !! i dont have straightener or anything at home so i just wanted to try this step only out of curiousity and it turned out soooo well!!!! i have always noticed hairdressers using it but i never gave it a try myself and it looks great ahh i wish i did this before!! i also tried it on my side bangs and it fixed them too! which is crazy because my bangs are quite stubborn as i have wavy hair. thank you for the amazing advice, i appreciate it really
This was really easy to understand, thank you ❤
Best, most direct video of what I was doing wrong and what I need to do to get that salon look 🙌

I just love you girl, u making our lives easier ❤❤
🥰❤️
Hey!👋🏻
After watching your videos, i finally decided to grow my natural hair rather than undergoing treatments.....even though i want to go through the awkward stage of two hair textures.. but i finally made up my mind..
I need my natural wavy hair back and to follow the wavy hair routine you mentioned..
I really appreciate your effort and courage to show the world that how things are actually like... because as you can see every channel in UA-cam is only praising the good effects of these chemical treatments.. yes, there are some videos about the bad effects.. but none of them really dare to show us how it actually looks like and gave the courage to grow back the natural hair..
By the by you are so gorgeous and i am so happy in subscribing ur channel!💜
Awww that’s so sweet! So happy to have you here! 💕 There are so many ways to style hair and achieve the look you want without doing those. It’s really all in the styling so I’m glad I can share alternatives!
Hi
thankyou soo much , your saved me and now i can finally do it at home , God bless you
you are such a life saver tysm😭❤
Her voice is so cute❤
Aint got time for that in the mornings before work🥲
Great video!! Thanks!
the end result is cute
Wow so pretty. Thank you!!! I know my hair can look that way from experience... But i never knew how to do it myself 😂.
i love seeing someone else have my hair type fresh out the shower
Wow, you're absolutely stunning!
You should put “no round brush” in the title, ive been looking for a no round brush tutorial for LIKE A YEAR
Wow! Thank you! ❤❤
Your natural hair style before the stylings was the best.
tysm for this video
bro is attacking her curly hair😭
she buts a hair protector
GIRL I'M SO GLAD I FOUND YOUR CHANNELLLLLL!!!! ❤
You have amazing hair!!!
thank you for making a short video
thank you for the video! just curious, how long on average does it take for you to dry and style your hair?
Girl ur hair is gorgeous and so are you !😩❤️ Can you pls tell what haircut do you ask for when you go to ur stylist !?
Thank you 💕 I have curtain bangs and layers. You can find the 360 and details in the shorts tab 🙂
we literally have the same hair texture and for some reason i only see girls with thin hair getting this style so this helped me so much ty!
omgggggg thank you~! this is exactly my hair hehe
Great tips!
Ty! 🙏🏻
love it! tysm
Hi! Can you recommend other heat protector products? Unfortunately, the one you use is not available in my country. Thanks!
That curling iron looks like a weapon!! 😂
love this video❤
Hey, I love your curly hair in your other videos and just had to ask what hair cut you have. Long layers? I really want my wavy hair to look like yours but I don't know what to ask for! Thanks for helping us wavy girls who don't fit with the curlies or the straights
Aw thank you so much! I have curtain bangs and layers 😊
so pretty😻
OMG TYSMMMMMM FOR TELLING US
I Loooove your hair 😍😍😍
Just thanks a lot❤
You have fine hair with alot of volume. But for me who has fine hair with low volume I am better off using little to zero heat. Spray some leave in conditioner, air dry for an hour, get the remaining wet part (usually the scalp) blow dried. Feeling the heat in the hair you can do rolls wraps or buns to give you that curly natural look. Spritz some hairspray or oil to maintain it. You can skip the blow drying too if it dried faster and just set it with oil.
Girl you saved me at life!!!!😭😭🎀
Really thankful of this video and after getting your channel, I finally got somebody to look after my wavy hair in a correct way✨🤍
Thanks girl
My hair type is exaclty like urs i think. In elementry school i never really knew what yo do with it so i always pulled it back into a ponytail and it was ALWAYS frizzy. The thing that has saved me from frizziness is ✨️hair serums✨️. I highly recommed using hair serums right after washing ur hair when its wet
I got brave and went and got curtain bangs today- but idk what to do with them!!! Thanku😭💛
Love this! But your hair is naturally beautiful as well, so you can also do a leave-in conditioner to style it with no heat
All i need in 1 videos 😅
U really seem to know this shit! And I have matching hair texture like yours...wondering why the right side always happened for me. Now I know! Thanxxxxxx!!!
Omg imma virgin to these stuff. And yeah most of the time my hair looks that frizzy Version but even worse thank u for making it easier. And understandable.
Your makeup tutorial is need of the community please put it out
My hair about to be salon grade
everydayyyyy 💃🏻🕺🏻
Yours is already poppin everyday :’)
Do you like it have you used the Dyson air wrap? Or does it not have the lasting power you want?
This vid is short but good
Your so beautiful thanks for the help
Hi there! What is the blow dryer you used?
love it
WE NEED A TUTORIAL‼️💌🫶😍
Hey Hang! Do you have any recommendations for curly hair salons in NYC?
Hair dryer makes the majority of works❤
Your hair is beautiful, mine used to be like that, natural wavy curls. Sadly I have lost a lot due to mental health and hormonal imbalance. I’m trying to regain it back. 😔
спасибо большое, я попробовала сушить феном так же и мне очень понравилось!!
Hi 👋
hey! I love your content on insta and always think you have amazing hair! Do you have any recommendations for a leave in conditioner?
Thank you!! I actually use quite a few different ones and love them all! Olaplex 6 is you’re ok with spending more, Kenra (super lightweight and won’t weigh hair down), TGIN green tea for when hair needs a lil more. You can find all of these on my Amazon!
www.amazon.com/shop/hangtw
@@Hangtw ahhh I didn’t see you had replied to this, thanks so much!!
0:04 I have the same hair style as u, but a bit more wavy and it gets so annoying when I brush it because I turn into winter jacket (the fur part of the hood)
what hair dryer are you using?? :)
girl is pretty
Thank the Lord for this video 😅
I want this hair
I've seen many videos on UA-cam about hair and
I don't use to write comments on UA-cam but
wanna know if non-alcoholic beer
can make a thick hair and how to use it
cause I've got 1A type of hair and
really wanna make it thicker and looks better
I thought I was the only one who had to go in with a straightener from roots to mids! My hair is getting coarser and curlier with age, so a blowout alone doesn't cut it anymore.
The problem with the salon way is not that people don't really know that they select hair but it's that it takes lot of time when you do it yourself if your hair is long. Especially if you curl it after. So it's just easier to dry it regular way if you need to go somewhere
Best solution would be a hair buddy to do each others hairs😮 the hardest part about doing the salon way is the arm workout you get doing it alone, doing it for someone else is easier
I wanna learn these things
I wish i had that much volume in my hair!!!!
Please tell me your hair straightener name?
dude can you tell me the name of your hair cut?
For a while I had the same hair as you, but with the stress I lost a lot of it and it became very thin, do you have a solution for me please ?
On days that I don’t wash my hair, could I still use the blow dryer to defrizz? Or would it make more sense on dry hair to use a straightener and some heat protectant?
I tried everything but i think Wooden brush will help?
finally someone with same hair texture as mine 😭😭
Hi
