I've been with Slipknot since 99 and Nero Forte is one of my favorite of their songs. Maybe bc it includes themes of getting older and thinking clearer and moving on from toxic people, but it also just shreds as a Slipknot tune
There’s no music video for it and not many people react to it, but you should check out their song “Not Long For This World”. It’s off the same album as this song, and it’s so good. Trying to get more people onto it, it’s my favorite song from the album.

Yes, this song is about the life-long struggle Corey has had with depression in-part related to his lack of faith and not being able to find a religion that suits him.
