I’ve had that 6’11 medium plus since 2020. You really could fish close to anything on that rod. I fish top waters, poppers, tail spinners, blade baits, shaky heads, finesse spinnerbaits, finesse jigs, mini max chatterbaits. You name it. If it’s between that 1/4 to 1 ounce range, it’ll fish it pretty well. It even fishes lighter lures well. Amazing rod.
I've owned this rod for over 2 years. And it is truly Versatile. I've got an 8 pounder on a popper and many 5 pounders on Texas Riggs. It's a beautiful rod too, but the lower section has started to delaminate a bit. But i'm in arizona and the sun can be pretty tough on our rods
