Just got a 18.5l water butt. Exactly the same as ridgemonkey minus the label. Has a tap, brushes and water spouts. Cost 13 quid. Got a little pan and kettle set for a tenner and it's perfect for 2 ppl. Lead clips, swivels Size 8 and 11. Surface floats. Tons of little bits that all work grand. Leave things in your basket, add and remove the same item and eventually you get it at a silly price. Not everything will be amazing but if you're savvy you can literally save a small fortune and get the same things in a shop minus the packaging.
This is very true. As someone who fishes for carp across North America the prices of real gear is insanely inflated. So I stick with ali express products and they've done me well, you just gotta know where to look

I only bought 2 lures off Temu cuz my mate had one and let me use it and it works fairly well I just wouldn’t buy rods reels lines and hooks and sod plastics but there are some hardbaits that work fairly good

I believe that in about 10 years time the likes of Korda, Fox and Ridgemonkey, along with all the major brands, will all be selling online direct to customers as there will unfortunately be no tackle shops left.

I'm watching this as i look at my double wychwood Agitator and shimano Super baitrunner set up, reassuring them not to worry as they will always be my babys lol I am guilty of using temu for weights, soft lures,line stops and other bits and bobs but rod reel and line i like to keep them quality thats been tried and tested throughout the years.

Almost the entire Fox range is available on Temu. It even has the Fox wording on the packaging it just has a replacement logo. Don’t think I’ve bought any end tackle anywhere else for about 18 months now
Sorry can I ask you, I have seen your bottom setup, but then you said you changed for the top, I am quite new to the carp fishing overall and I only used method feeders, but like you said there is days where I only see them at the top of the water, could you introduce how you tie your rig or what and how did you used to catch it from the top and cast this far ? Don't buy from temu, I recently bought a rod from there and it's totally shit quality, the pieces don't even lock properly, while ur fishing the rod pieces turn. It also cracked after first use making the handle loose

I use these roads for quick day sessions for pike have cought a 18lb pike on them ,brilliant peace of kit.

Got the 10' rod which is much stiffer but still works great and the 7000 size reel which works perfect in fresh and saltwater.

That FTK Fluro is only coated, they have now changed the wording on the spools. For sea fishing I use the FTK stuff for hook lengths :)
