Genuine question… why don’t they swing for the doubles lines in doubles. I know you can’t hit every shot perfect but it seems more often than not their shots are within singles lines

Sadly it's rarely good. The games where the men serve are too easy leaving just the women to get broken typically and it's often a bit awkward.
