idea to mark the holes- use a piece of paper to push down on the knobs in order to make marks/holes where the pots will poke through, and fold it down the sides to locate the jacks and power. that way the spacings should all be correct. just an idea!
Do you know the switch has a "trick" finding a hot point between Fuzz 1 & Fuzz 2 getting a "Fuzz 1/2" and also a "boosted Fuzz 2" positioning the with between BOOSTER and "FUZZ 2" signals?
@@zurowetz Thanks, this upgrades would help us to all those Behringer users. Their pedals sounds are very cool, however, too many players underated those pedal just because are plastic case. This would protect our pedals a lot! New Subscriber!
alternative idea- add paint or goop onto the pot shafts and lower it into the case as required to mark where you want to drill your holes. maybe it won't work for the switch, but you're mostly there... hmm....
I am a DS-1 person, out of big muffs I’d take the Ram’s head because it’s so hectic, like the DS-1 (to my personal ears at least) But after watching this video I think a rat would be a better choice for less crazy parts, even only for openings it’ll be awesome Damn now I have to get one
It’s cool and everything but, has anyone ever broken a Behringer housing? I’m sure it’s happened (assuming) but is there an epidemic? I just don’t see the point, in the unlikely event that you crush one with your foot, just go buy another one, they’re cheap.
Yeah I did the first video just to show the pedal I hade fixed after breaking it but I hade it for close to 10 years I would not have done it if I wasn't a DIYer who loves to fix things haha 😁 but your right and its what I also said in the first video with I got a lot of heat for 🔥
this rehousing project does not solve the main behringer weakness point which are cable jacks and potentiometers, replacing those with reliable quality parts would give the rehousing it's real value, you just took the pedal's main problems to a different box
Yes I know I have made another video about replacing the jacks maybe it will help you personally I think the weakness is the plastic cover but I don't know 🤷
this saved my day! i think i gonna start rehousing some of these. big help indeed! did you make some sort of a fuzz synth too?
Glad it was of use to you I have made some weird stuff but was it something particular you had in mind ?😃
i'd been wondering how to attach a normal switch, thanks. i'd love to try this one day

Yes i'm working on finding a way to mod it so I can have them all at once 😀
I put a 5-way switch on my rehouse to make 1.5 and 2.5 easily selectable. Yes, I am special. lol
@@TheTubeDude That's the way it's supposed to be!
Thanks for your video, would be nice to share where did you got the boxes. Like it!
yes! thank you I totally forgot 😅 www.musikding.de/

Damn your smart
Thank you 🍻
have you ever tried to make a analog multi effects by putting 3 of these behringer in the same box?
No I have not I've tried to like multi effects but it's just not my thing 🤷♂️
good job!👍
Thank you ☺️
Nice job!
Thank you 🍻😁
How did you do the print on the pedal?
I used photo transfer mod podge you need to get the kind that works with what kind of printer you have and then clear coat it
Not tricked. Fun vid!
Haha I'll get you som other timme 😉 Thank you for the comment 👍

Yeah I agree I think the ds-1 is great and if you have a big muff you have all you need for a killer tone anything more is just for fun 👍😉👍
i can't have the power jack and input in the same places. That is the whole reason for the re-house. i need to put the power up top
I have another behringer rehousing video maybe it can help you 👊

Yes! My blues overdrive broke at the hinge point. Need to rehouse as it’s just about my favourite overdrive.
