Just curious first gen Avets bearings suck. What is the best to get these days to replace full set in reel? I see Boca ceramic looks nice, but the prices are ridiculous. Also, what's the best grease these days been 15 years since i did a reel breakdown. I used reel x and super lube is that still standard. What grease you using in video? Thanks for the correct details in your video, only suggestion is removing bearing with heat option. Try using the back end of a drill bit and rocking it. Lot safer.

Can the reel seat and clamp be replaced on a MXL with one from a LX ? Because the rod reel seat is just a little too wide (alps reel seat)

Boss i have a MXJ6/4 i noticed when i first cleaned it. The drag washer seems attached to the body. Can it be replace if its worn out already? Thanks
